Hi everybody!

We’ve had a really busy spring, putting the album together with the guys. These "last minute" ideas and fixes have become come very important for the Black Roses album, so all the waiting is worth it! For example we brought this eight years old song idea back to life. It’s a duet song. I got a wild idea to ask the Nightwish singer Anette Olzon to sing it together with me. I called her and she said YES! So good things come for those who wait. Were getting there!

I just had wonderful 2 days...
Wakeboarding and Tennis tournament and Birthday by the beach...
32°c, sun, friends, chokolate cake, swimming, beach volley, sunset...awwwwwwww.
and then i come to Myspace and get all YOUR b-day greetings. awwwwwwwwwwwwwww
I truly feel like a lucky son of my own mother.

The news about the releases of the new album :
The Rasmus will release the new album,Black Roses in Finland,on the 24. September.
The disk will be internationally released on the 26. of September.
The first single Livin 'In A World Without You will be released in Finland 10. September.
The piece is The Rasmus' and producer Desmond Child's handwriting and it goes first played on the radio on the 25. July.
The music video was directed by Niclas Frond in Stockholm at the beginning of July. Frond has guided the previous three The Rasmus music videos: In my Life, In the Shadows, as well as Funeral Song.
The new video's premiere is at the beginning of August.

Number 1 on radio + New Single Tracks

Yippee! The coming single "Livin' In A World Without You" is the most played song on Finnish radio! It is since two weeks Number 1 on the Airplay charts in Finland.

The new single is released September 5 (digital) and September 10 (maxi CD).

Livin' In A World Without You tracklist
The Rasmus new single will be released in 2 formats, a 2-track single and a 4-track maxi. The 2-track has the video as b-side, and the 4-track has the video plus one album track, "You Got It Wrong" and an acoustic version of "Livin' In A World Without You".

The release on iTunes will have one more exclusive track; "Livin' In A World Without You - Milan East RMX" and this is set for September 5.

NOTE: The dates may vary in some countries, these dates are accurate for at least Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

- BLACK ROSES CD album with 11 tracks.
- BLACK ROSES Special Fan Edition, the CD album + DVD with a 1h documentary about the making of the album, filmed and produced by Eero Heinonen.
- BLACK ROSES Digital album – tracklist as the CD.
- BLACK ROSES Digital album – iTunes Special edition with one bonus track.
...and on the UK and Japanese versions there might be Bonus Tracks...
