Personally i actually dont know what it could be -------------------- His soul long-since collapsed, his body recklessly continues onward, driven by a lust for more power. One the ark is a remote for all the halos, Two the ark is a shield like in the Ghosts of onyx, how else would humanity be on earth? -------------------- Holder of the blanket of death, accolyte and right hand to Death it self, I holdeth the cape of death. Private Group: Members Posts: 14 Member No.: 7 Joined: 29-January 07	uhm... i don't remember wat part of halo 1 i heard this in but uhm... cortana or guilty spark says that atcivating the ring kills all life in the galaxy, or at least enouth to starve the flood to death. so that indicades that sme life will be spared, earth and the coivenant planets servived and life spread again. so i don't think the structuse is a shield, the sentinals would activate i or trick someone in acivating it and they don't need protection from the rings, but the ark also seemed to open up like a mega huge weapon in the trailer right? well i think it (with or without remote activating the rings) serves as one of the backups of the rings, or a extra ring, only if that is so than life on earth cant have servived wen the rings where used the first time but well if life spread than earth could have been wiped free of living thinbgs and later be occupied by other life. i think the ark is a weapon with the option of remote activation of the rings. -------------------- you are the closest to heaven that i have ever been and i don't want to leave here tonight.

It should be obvious that the 'ark' is in a way the ship to salvation. If you are christian or catholic, then you would know the story or Noa's ark, a story where god tell Noa, his wife and kids to build a large boat and to gather one pair of every animal because man had become to far corrupt. Noa, builts this boat and gets on it then god uses a Flood to cover all of earth, efectivley killing every one but Noa, his family and a pair of every animal. His boat was called the ark. If you look at it just right, that is kinda what the forerunner did right? Build an ark to ride out to flood for forty days and forty nights.
