I like it :D
one thing to add would be a very strong key light from the left, since the planet is so bright it would also make sense to light the ship to match the background

nice looking textures BTW :D

it's easy once you get the hang of it
you should try it out sometime . . .
there are plenty of free apps out there, just pick one you like, and play with it :D

I actually had the full blown Maya package, with Pixar's plug-in (I forget the name of it now...) I just couldn't get it to behave... My bro in law is studying animation and he's really good at it, but I really suck! Given parameters, I have been known to come up with some decent skins...
