This board is intended for the discussion and display of artwork, CGI (3D and 2D), music, and entertainment.

Code of Conduct

Our goal is to ensure that FV’s online forums are warm and welcoming environments, where people can come together and discuss relevant subjects and topics in a friendly and non-aggressive environment.

The purpose of this code of conduct is to ensure that users can participate in the forums and chats without being ‘flamed’, personally attacked, harassed or be exposed to inappropriate materials.

Framevoid values freedom of expression on the site, but not at the expense of offending others. We want all members to have an enjoyable and fun experience.

With this in mind, we have established the Code of Conduct to help us achieve that goal. Please assist us by posting relevant messages that are consistent with the Code of Conduct.

In short, we aim to maintain forums and chats with appropriate standards of civil posting behavior and where members respect the rights of others. This Code of Conduct is subject to the FV member rules.

FV administrators appoint moderators to help us ensure that forum post content and chat messages comply with the vision and goals of the FV web forums.

You agree, through your use of the forum and services, that you will abide by this Code of Conduct.

Please take some time to carefully read and understand the Code of Conduct, and the penalties for offenses. Non-compliance will result in forfeiture of your privilege to access the forums and may result in a permanent ban. The following actions constitute a infraction of the Code of Conduct:

FV: Rules Of Engagement

1. Compliance of the forum membership rules is Mandatory.

2. Using an invalid email address for your user account is not allowed.

3. Posting messages that display or link to pornographic or sexually offensive material is not allowed. Please be aware that there may be underage members on this board. Please refrain from using blatantly sexual references or sexually offensive material or comments.

Artistic nudity will be evaluated case-by-case. Please indicate in your thread title if your artwork contains nudity. The board Admins and Moderators have the discretion to alter or delete posts deemed to be of an unsuitable nature.

4. Any attempts to breach forum security, or gain unauthorized access into user accounts is not allowed. This includes the action of guessing passwords, successful or not. Assisting others with such attempts or actions also constitutes a violation.

5. Actions such as exploiting (or attempting to exploit) forum bugs, vulnerabilities, or loopholes are not allowed.

6. Registering multiple accounts with intent to disrupt the community is not allowed.

7. Defaming other boards, or posting about "board drama" is in bad faith and not encouraged here. Please keep "board drama" to yourself, and off of the forum.

8. Registering accounts with usernames or using screen names that are offensive or created with intent to cause disruption to the forums is not allowed.

9. Using offensive or sexually suggestive avatars and banners is not allowed. Determination of offensive or sexually suggestive picture material is up to the sole discretion of the Admins and Mods of the site.

10. It is not allowed to Impersonate FV staff on the forums.

11. Flooding the forums with redundant messages, empty messages, advertisements, clearly irrelevant “+1 Post Count” messages, and/or nonsensical posts is not allowed. Please try to post something that directly contributes to the discussion. The posting of a single smile or one word is not actually advancing the discussion and we ask that you please consider posting a thoughtful sentence in place of a short burst of emotion.

12. Posting messages that are inflammatory and made simply with the intent to provoke disruption to the forum and encourage, incite or continue ‘flame’ threads. ‘Trolling’ posts will not be tolerated. Posts that are disruptive and destructive in character will not be tolerated. Flaming is deemed to include insulting, personally directed criticisms and/or posts that include comments aimed to incite anger. Trolling is deemed to include posts aimed to incite disruption or stir up trouble. For example, posting to a thread or starting a thread without the intent to contribute positive suggestions or comments. Instead, the aim is negative and disruptive comments.

13. It is not allowed to import whole posts or portions of posts from other non-Framevoid message boards made by individuals who are not members of our message board.

14. Using expressions or language in posts that are considered foul, vulgar, hateful, bigoted, sexually harassing, racially offensive, terrorist threats, or are in any way discriminatory is not allowed. Whether an expression falls within this definition will be determined at the discretion of FV staff.

15. Please post messages in their designated forum areas. Keep off-topic discussions in the appropriately appointed areas. Topics started in inappropriate threads will be moved by staff Mods and Admins.

16. Making posts or sending PM’s that personally attack, insult, threaten, harass or are clearly disrespectful of the opinions of other participants is not allowed. This means, if you are engaging in debates that involve challenging, questioning and disputing the opinions and views of others, you are required to do so in a civil manner and ensure that your posts are relevant and on-topic. This rule does not exclude posts that are critical or questioning. It does, however, require that you carefully consider the tone of language in such posts to ensure that they are civil.

17. Posting of pictures on the forum - The guidelines for posting pictures on the forum are as follows:
-Signature banners (seen at the bottom of individual posts) should not exceed a maximum file size of 600 X 200 pixels. Square sigs should not be more than 300 x 300.

-Avatars - maximum resolution 135x135pixels.

-Large size images within posts -exceeding 500 x 500 or 200kb should be hosted by http://imageshack.us/ or at photobucket.com and a thumbnail created by Imageshack or Photobucket inserted into the post.

Please keep within this limitation in consideration of other users with slow internet connections. If you require assistance resizing your signature file, please contact a site Admin.

18. The posting of personal information on the open forum is not allowed. Any posts containing phone numbers, addresses, full or last real names will be removed immediately. If you feel the need to share personal information with another member, please keep it to a Personal Message (PM) and only if you feel comfortable doing so. The Admins and Mod staff at Framevoid are not responsible or accountable for the outcome of sharing such personal information with other members.

19. You are responsible for the security of your password and protection of your confidential personal account information. Please take all necessary steps to ensure that your password is not compromised. Moreover, you are responsible for any posts made from your account, regardless of who made that post. Any inflammatory, derogatory, incendiary, or false postings made from your account without your knowledge may result in the suspension or closing of your account. If it is determined that a hacker obtained your information as a result of a breach in security on the part of Framevoid, your account will be reinstated as soon a possible.

Finally, here are the penalties outlined in our disciplinary policy. We reserve the right at any time to strengthen or lessen the severity of a disciplinary response, depending on the infraction.

1st offense: A general warning via PM

2nd Offense: PM warning, placed on the "member watch list"

3rd Offense: Final warning, posting priveleges revoked for 24 hours.

4th offense: Week suspension

5th offense: Indefinite suspension or ban, possibly permanent, based on judgement of admins.
