I just saw this Ad Boards for FM10 download at http://www.fmscout.com/i-727-Ad-Boards-for-FM10.html and I thought it would be pretty cool to have one for MLS and other North American competitions.

Does anyone know how to go about doing it?

Interesting. MLS would be pretty easy, as it';s pretty much the same sponsors at every club.

I downloaded the files and it doesn't look like it would be hard to make an MLS/USL/etc. version. The .rar comes with over 500 adboards already and we could either create some new ones (if anyone knows how, they seem to be all 1024x128 .png images) or select familiar ones that are already included like xbox360, Volkswagen, Powerade, Adidas, and use those.

The .xml file has good explanations in it and I think we would have a great chance at success. It looks like all matches under the same competition ID would have the same adboard layout, except for rotating adboards.

Also, luckily for us, included in this download are already 4 MLS adboards: MLS, MLSgear.com, MLSnet.com, and MLS W.O.R.K.S.

Ok, good news. I found that someone already did this. In fact, there's a pack that includes adboards for over 60 competitions including MLS, Mexican first division, Canadian Championship Cup, CONCACAF Champions League, and North American Superliga.

It looks as though it will work but as I am still waiting for my copy of FM10 to arrive I don't really know.

Can you do adboards for specific teams or just for a league? It would be cool to see the Pechanga adboard pop up Galaxy games.

The .xml file in the download here http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php?t=162200 has a few specific team adboard configurations. I haven't used this though so I'm not sure if it works or not.

EDIT: The ads that it comes with for MLS are Budwiser, Dick's, Dunkin' Donuts, ESPN 2 HD, FutbolMLS.com, Herbalife, The Home Depot, Makita, Sierra Mist, Major League Soccer, MLSnet.com, MLS W.O.R.K.S., Panasonic, Pepsi, RadioShack, Subway, Volkswagen, and xBox 360.
