Thought I should start & sticky a thread on these....

I have just posted updated NHL 2004 rosters as of 10/9/06 and they are available for download from my site. The .zip file also includes a text file listing the settings I am currently using (pretty much the same settings I have used all long....slightly adjusted for a faster pace and more penalties to match the new NHL).

These rosters include all transactions as of 10/9, and also include the creation of a ton of rookies as well as player re-ratings for each and every team to make them more up-to-date.

I will use this thread to list any future updates....enjoy! biggrin.gif

P.S. Obviously my retirement from 2004 editing and updates has officially ended. wink.gif

As I said in the PNHL thread, that if I put my season on hold I will probably do some tweaking with the settings. The way it is now with my settings they arn't that great, I wish I would have lost more this season. If I could finish a season in like fourth or fifth place in my conference I would be happy.

I still find the game to bad a tad fast even with the speed at 0. I have also tryed lowering speed burst and player acceleration to see how much of a difference it makes. I still havn't found the right amount of speed I would like to play with.

I use Randys settings as a base, and then I tweak them from there. The yare pretty similar, but I plan on experimenting with some settings once I have all the files added into the game. I would like to try and make this game harder before I start another dynasty.

Do you adjust the player/goalie advantage sliders at all? I used to give myself a two click player boost, but now only do one click and my games are very competitive.

I keep the player/goalie sliders the same. I guess I could give the cpu players one click, but I already find the game to be a tad bit too fast.

I have just posted updated NHL 2004 rosters as of 10/11/06 and they are available for download from my site.

Not much to this update from the last, except I changed the amount of jersey slots for Buffalo to accommodate their new jerseys as well as their old ones.

Enjoy! biggrin.gif
