Well I Played Nhl 2k10

This morning I rented the game for the 360 to give it a try instead of buying. To tell you the truth I'm not sure what to make of this game so far. I 2k Share feature is awesome EA NEEDS to add this in NHL 11.

My first game I played the Preds with Venom's rosters and settings and lost 5-4 in a SO.

There where a nice few PPs per team and I got a hat trick with Ponikarovsky. The gameplay was fairly good as well, once I got used to the controls.... they are similar but different from NHL 10.

I have the game rented for 1 week so I should be able to get a fair bit of time so I can make a good decision whether its worth getting or not.

Hopefully not every game is like a 5-4 score though.

Argh....things aren't going good. I may be back to NHL 10 very soon.

I guess just the way its feels and the defensive AI is HORRIBLE.

That is very true. I find the controls to be pretty sluggish and unresponsive a lot of times.

Unresponsive is one word for it.... I call it ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. How in the blue hell can you release a game that the shooting doesn't work. Numerous times I went to shoot the puck and he started a freakin deke

This game may go back early.

The controls just feel really muddy to me...there are some things the game does well, but the controls really ruin it for me personally. They just aren't responsive. Defensive controls are all but non-existent, and if you get touched by a defender you loose the ability to pass, shoot, or do anything with the puck.

Totally agree Randy. NHL 10 is the game for me this year, sure it ain't perfect (what game is) but its alot more enjoyable than 2k10.

I can say that 2k10 won't be my game of choice this year for sure. Hopefully they patch NHL 10 or I somehow find consistent settings for the game...

I returned the rental this morning....not buying

i have been playing 2k 10 a lot more as of late. as someone posted at OS if 2k's controls were more responsive they would def get more guys to play the game. both games have pros and cons, i like having the option to go back and forth.

good times with hockey gaming for me this year.

I must say this patch has me intrigued.
