Well, I'm making a character. Who else is going to be in our RP?

Haha, I caught the "Attn: Rita!" part. smile.gif Anyway, so far it's you, me, and Jessie, living in the COM world! ... I hope I remember enough about it...

So, our characters should all have unique talents. They don't necessarily have to match up with Sandry/Tris/Briar/Daja, though I suppose they can be the same. (Sam's got a mad desire to be a smith mage.) I'd like to have a power similar to Tris'. ^^

I think that instead of living at Winding Circle, we should live at another temple in, perhaps, another city. Otherwise, as I mentioned earlier, our RP will become a parallel of the COM story.

And... I never quite got it. Does Vedris rule just Summersea, or all of Emelan?

Alright, and Meg, don't forget Meg. So, we kinda talked about this last night... and I think we DID decide to end up at Winding Circle, just because that would work better. And we were thinking about all having 'chime' kinda things... except individualized.

I've been thinking about my character... and I decided that although I shall be a smith mage, I also want a definate affinity with fire, beyond just being able to live in it... like, be able to manipulate it.

Oh, and everyone has to think of a good reason to end up at Winding Circle. I'm at a little backwards village, that has magic, but only of the academic kind. So, I fall into a fire, and live, and then accidentally set a few things on fire.... so they try to burn me as a witch. Well, you can guess how that would turn out... and then Niko comes, and save me. ^^

So far, I'm going to be a weather mage, Sam's going to be a smith mage, and Megan's going to work with thread - with a little bit of lightning power. (Don't go beyond that though, Meg, or you'll have all of my powers. ^^) So Jess - you can be earth, but you could also be something like cooking/rock/dance/glass/carpentry, as the Circle Opens students were.

And we were thinking of having mini-Chimes - like the glass dragon in Shatterglass. If Jess was a glassmage, then she try to teach us glassblowing - only then, our powers would be mixed up in our creations and would be trapped inside glass dragons. ^^ And if you'd rather be another sort of ambient mage, then we can all just... take a glassblowing class for fun, or something.

Let's see, what else? Er, I think we planned to live at Discipline, having the same teachers. I get Niko! smile.gif And as Sam mentioned, this would be after the time of Sandry, Briar, Tris, and Daja; they'd be off in the world of mages doing something-or-other and all of the teachers would be back at Winding Circle.

I'm going to be from Sotat. I live in middle-sized town, and I've always done weather magic for them. My character was respected and valued as part of the town... until she brought down a storm either by anger or accident that killed some of the townsfolk. I'm being thrown in jail; then Niko arrives on the spot and rescues me. *nods*

Don't worry Ri, I won't. If I did, it would also be too much power for me. Being a stitch mage is good enough!!! In the chimes, Sam would have fire, Ri... a storm of something, and Me, I don't know, maybe lightning. Jessie could have whatever, like plants or vines...

Lark!!! Yay. Poor Jessie, if she is a plant mage, gets Rosethorn. sad.gif

Don't know where I'm from yet, I'll just have a look through the books soon. I'm going to just make people be wrapped in carpets and such. biggrin.gif Hit by lightning as a child, so I have the lightning (won't know that for a while), but no other weather stuff.

You killed people Ri??? Wow, so unlike you. wink.gif

Haha, I know. biggrin.gif It was an ACCIDENT, though; she just... lost control and called up a storm. And she didn't mean to kill anyone; it just sort of got out of hand like Tris' waterspout in the first book.

I shall have to re-read the books, too... I could barely remember that Winding Circle was in Summersea. O.o

Winding Circle is in Summersea?!?! Wow. I haven't read them in a while, and now I can't find our books. sad.gif It sucks.

An Accident. Ok.. i believe you. rolleyes.gif Why did she get angry? Or is that not the cause of the storms?

Yes, why would she, Ri? And yes, Winding Circle is in Summersea. I'm actually in the process of re-reading the CoM... and I've already read the first two. But I can't find my Briar's book, dammit! angry.gif

Still trying to figure that out. wink.gif For now, I'm going to go with the story that she was trying to call up a rainstorm for the town crops, but her anger got a little out of control. I think she was angry at being treated as a tool by the townsfolk.

Winding Circle is in Summersea, Emelan, to be exact. biggrin.gif And... I'm from Sotat. Wasn't Sandry from Sotat?

Don't ask me!!! I really don't know. Ri... or Sam, can I borrow one of your first books... and the second... maybe the 3rd and 4th too?? wink.gif

Rita, what is with your characters and anger problems?? Well, at least Madison does, and she's your other RP character at the moment. And so your character knows that she is a mage, and can already control her powers somewhat???

Okay, we are all re-reading the CoM books before we start this! Lol.

Glass blowing and plant magic sounds good! Although I never got to finish Tris's book in CO, so I don't have indepth knowledge on glass blowing or chimes yet. *Mental note to self, get fourth CO book from library!

Yeah....same with the origins part. Need to re-read the books or see a map of emelan before I decide on a hometown.

Um, as for how I wind up at winding circle....well, I gotta know more about glassblowing! Lol. Does anyone have the fourth CO book now? *sweatdrop*

My guess would be that Ri has it... but I dunno.

Hehehe!!! Glass blowing wont be hard, but who's the teacher-mage person for that?!?!!? I know that you will have Rosethorn for the plant part, but... yeah.

Hehe, sand is made of sand... which is rock... so I think that will be easier for me, lol.
And if we wait for EVERYONE to re-read the series... I say we begin, and use our current knowledge.

I actually don't have Shatterglass; I didn't like it all that much. sad.gif I suppose I'll buy it eventually, but I don't have it at the moment.

Meg - this character will actually have a calm disposition. She's going to be a head-in-the-clouds type person. smile.gif But being linked to the weather, the stormy elements will have to come into play sometimes, so she flies out of control occasionally.

I suppose she'll know a bit about her powers. She hasn't figured out yet that Nature isn't a tool, though.
