"My opinion of dearest Barty, hm? Well, the dearest ought to cover it right about there. I absolutely adore the young man, in a completely platonic way (... though, that is probably because we're cousins, if we weren't, I'd have probably gotten into his pants a couple times by now). I know our family has a history of near incestious marriages, thanks to the need to keep our blood proper and pure, but I don't think Barty or myself ever intended on going so far as to marry cousins. That being said, I've known Barty pretty much since we were born. Seriously. I'm only two weeks older than he is, and our parents were still pretty close at that time... actually, they still are. Anyway, thanks to our family situation we've been around one another our entire lives.
Though we saw each other fairly often as children, it wasn't nearly as often as being in the same house and year in Hogwarts. It gave us the perfect excuse to hang out, and discuss things. His mind is a little twisted at times even in comparison to myself, I must admit, but of course that only intrigued me.
The bottom line is, he's one of the few people other than Evan that I really do trust. Perhaps that's because he and I both know I have a lifetime's worth of ammo to use on him if he should ever betray me."

First Person Views on Barty: "Okay, so the guy's a little weird. That has never stopped me giving someone a chance before. However, Barty is almost definitely a Death Eater. I mean, he is death eater material, is he not? He probably kisses the very ground where that overgrown snake walks. I'm sure he doesn't like me too, for he and his friends made that quite clear at Hogwarts.
Any Future Plans? Ummm nothing really...they just keep going on disliking each other. Haha.

First Person Views on Barty: “Ugh… Bartemius Crouch junior. Is he the spitting image of his father? I heard he hates him – so, I truly hope he is like him, just for my enjoyment. We haven’t formally met, however we have seen each other around. It’s kind of hard not to when you are both pureblood offspring. I swear, this kid is one of the few people I really hate. It’s not like I don’t hear what is said about me, bastard. If we do meet, I highly doubt we will go far before breaking down in a loud, screaming match. First Person Views on Barty: “I won’t say we are the best of friends – we argue far too much, and we do not get along unless we must. All we can both relate to is that we both count our steps and that is it. However, considering I’ve known him for a very long time, us being close when we were younger, the trust is there. I don’t trust many, but he has some of it. If it weren’t for Melete, I probably would have knocked out the bloke long ago. Our goals are the same – get on the good side of our Dark Lord. It’s the main reason as to why we barely get along.”

First Person Views on Barty:  "Barty Crouch junior....  I have never met a stranger man in my entire twenty-one years, I have also never met someone as loyal.  Even though Barty is a few years younger than me, I respect him much, much more than many of my elders who are also Death Eaters.  I remember the first time I met Barty, it was his first year at Hogwarts.  He was a strange quiet little thing, but, he was a pure-blood, and deserved to be included in our little group.  I was in my fourth year, and he wouldn't say a word to me.  He simply stared at me while I talked to him.  It was kind of unsettling.  It wasn't until his second year that I discovered the secret - peppermints.  I gave him one at Halloween because he looked like he really wanted it, and that was when he said his first words ever to me, 'Thank you, Alecto.'  I was shocked, I was half convinced he couldn't talk at all.  I guess that was the start of a wonderful relationship.  He joined up with our Lord not too long after I did.  His loyalty to our Master is astounding and really quite inspirational - it's also rather attractive.  Bart Crouch certainly is an interesting guy - to say the least."

First Person Views on Barty: "Barty.. he is quite the character. I can see the way he looks at me, and it is quite flattering.. just as much as it is disturbing. But we are both human beings and we both have desires, there is no harm in throwing a little fuel in the fire now and then. Now is there? I do call him sweetheart sometimes and it is most adorable how he reacts when I do, and we flirt when we are bored or a bit drunk. I would not call it lust on my part but ..yes somehow it is lust for the forbidden and unknown.

First Person Views on Barty: "As far as my opinion is concerned, Crouch is a fanatical, twisted man with little to no remorse. He's inhuman and serves only our Lord, which makes him quite...dangerous. He's a good selection, of course, being what he is, and I'm in no position to question the Dark Lord. Fortunately, we've rarely run into one another any time but for when He calls us.

His actual presence is passable, in a sense, and though I'm not a patient man, I can say that his being around is tolerable. Unique, like all of us are, he finds his own way to delve into the Darkness we all seek. He's loyal, perhaps dependable, and I'll give the man that. For now, the goals we wish to acquire most are equal."
