Che keep eye on Basque star
Reports in Spain claim that Valencia are lining up a summer move for Athletic Bilbao star Andoni Iraola.

The 23-year-old came through the youth ranks at Athletic and has been a key first-team player for the past three seasons.

He has not missed a league game for the Basque outfit this term, providing a consistent presence in their engine room.

A gifted passer of the ball, Iraola was actually out of contract at the end of last season, but eventually decided to sign a new deal with Athletic which set his release clause at €24 million (£15 million).

Valencia did not move for the player when they had the chance last summer, but new coach Quique Flores believes he is the kind of the player the club will need as they look to strengthen ahead of a likely return to UEFA Champions League action next term.

The Che have yet to make official contact with Athletic, but will look to try and negotiate a considerable reduction on his buy-out clause.

I've seen him in many occasions; Good passer, smart, has good vision and technique. Surely will do better than Rufete at the right flank.

Is he a right winger? If so yeah it will be of great benefit to Valencia. So does that rule out Christiano Ronaldos move?

He can play as right back or right winger. To be honest, he's not as good as Cristiano.
