I don't mind Israel. They do some things that I agree with (I like their philosophy on combat and self-defence, as well as assassinating terrorist leaders) and others I don't (using Mossad to influence other governments and bulldozing settlements), but then again we in Australia don't face the unique challenges and situations they face on a daily basis, so who am I to be critical of how they do things?

On a personal note, I had the opportunity to visit Israel in 2000 and really enjoyed it, took on Jerusalem and some of the surrounding areas, even managed to check out the West Bank (that was before the Intifada started up again). Lovely country, so full of history and antiquity. People were friendly, both Jews and Arabs.

I think we may be getting a bit simplistic with the Israel "right to exist" issue. This issue goes all the way back to pre-Roman times, pre-Biblical times. People have been fighting over that patch of land since 1000BC. It's been occupied by Israelites, Egyptians, Palestinians, Romans, Byzantines, Seljuks, Ottomans and British. Nobody in that region has ever given up ground willingly, ever, they've had to be removed by force. Such a tiny patch of land that has seen so much blood shed. Small wonder it's going to take something short of forever to fix it, I reckon.

It is not just 3 countries. Upon independence, Israel was invaded by the armies of six Arab nations: Egypt, Syria, Transjordan (later Jordan), Lebanon, Iraq and Saudi Arabia. In addition, local Arab Palestinian forces also fought the Jewish Israelis. It is 6 countries who have avenged to wipe out Israel from World Map and invaded israel not just 1 time. 4 times. Apart from these 6 countries, there are around 22 Arab nations in the Middle East and North Africa who have lent material, moral & diplamatic support to these 6 countries. Whenever they got chance, they didn't fail to attack this tiny nation. But, Israel, the chosen people of God, has defeated the Arabs everytime and occupied 3 times of her land. They are tiny, but they have power of Eagle, determination of a Lion, Wisdom of a fox to hunt down any enemies in the world eventhough they are just almost negligible 0.1% of population in the world.

Are these palestinians innocent? Everyday they launch suicide attacks on Israel and kill innocent people.

Palestinians and other Arab nations have to understand one thing. Land of Israel is the promised land to descendants of Israel by the God. During the biblical Era, Jewish God(God of Abraham, Issac, Jacob) has promised this land to israelis through moses when they were living as slaves in Egypt for 400 years. God has redeemed israelis from this slavery and led the people miraculously in the desert and sea and given those promised land to Israelis. Even muslims who believe in God of Abraham knows this. Israelis have lived in that land for thousands of years.

So, the best solution is Palestinians and other Arabs should give up their claim over the land of israel, as they have no right to claim. They should learn to live in the land what they have now. They can't win over Israel as they are blessed by divine power. Israel - Simply Unstoppable !!!

That is the Arab Propaganda. You have to understand the fact here. Israelis have not occupied the land. The Israelites began to return from all over the world to their ancient homeland in the mid-1800s. They bought land at horribly inflated prices in this region. It was a land virtually without people and vegetation. Against all odds they began to reclaim the land that had become a total desolation of eroded rocky hills, arid deserts and malaria ridden swamps. As more israelis come, israelis started to use the land effectively and make it as a wealthy, properous land.

Because of their success, migrant Muslim workers from surrounding countries began to come and work for the Israelis. But the more successful they became, the more the Muslim clerics became alarmed. They began to sound the battle cry, “The Jews are stealing our land.”

With the liberation of the Middle East in World War 1, the Muslim nations began to flood more migrant workers and terrorists into Palestine in order to contest the Jewish presence. The declaration of the State of Israel in 1948 became the final insult.

The United Arab armies of Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Libya ordered all of the migrant workers in Palestine to leave until they drove the Israelis into the sea. They were promised that it would only be a few weeks until they could return and take over all the hated Jews had built.

In Exodus 33:1-3:

"Then the LORD said to Moses, "Leave this place, you and the people you brought up out of Egypt, and go up to the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, saying, 'I will give it to your descendants. I will send an angel before you and drive out the Canaanites, Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites".

This prophecy is partly fulfilled and partly yet to be fulfilled. What do you say for this God's prophecies? It is God's Plan that Israel would be punished but regrouped and blessed again as a Nation. No one can change it.

hahaha...eventhough Americans support, it is not easy to live as a country in the middle of 22 Arab enemy countries. Eventhough amercians provide only material help, It is not easy to defeat 6 countries in each war in that tiny land. It is the people of israels who fought the war in the war field. Not americans. Above all, They have much bigger divine support than americans help. That's why i confidently say they are unbeatable. Even now, It is just a matter of days for Tiny Israel to wipe out 600 times big Arab land within a week.

Most than half of tiny israel's land is desert. But, still they export Fruits and vegetables to other countries. They are the 4th largest sophisticated hi-tech arms exporter in the world. All these things shows they have unequivocal God's support.

Recent history tells us that arabs or anyone for that matter never fought for that piece of land till it was cultivated and tilted for residential use. It was more or less a barren land with desert and no water at all. Why Didnt palestine people fought for it then?

They have Mozzad: Best secret agency in the world.
They have the best irrigation methods for cultivation using optimal usage of water in the barren land. technology can be used in countries where water scarcity is a problem.

Look guys, there are a lot of muslim nations on the globe, EXCLUSIVELY for muslims..But theres just one for jew, and that too so so tiny...So what more can ya expect them to do? They need to protect the little land they have, or where will they go?

One prophecy that occurs again and again in the Bible's Old Testament is the prophecy of the people of Israel being scattered to all nations. Certainly this has happened. The northern ten tribes were taken into captivity by Assyrians around 712 BC. The other two tribes were taken captive by the Babylonians around 606 BC. Only a small fraction of the Jews returned from Babylon to resettle the land of Israel in 536 BC. But the biggest blow came in 70 AD when Titus of Rome attacked Jerusalem, destroying the city and the temple. The Jews that were not killed were scattered into all nations.

Leviticus 26:33-38 says, "And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste. Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye be in your enemies' land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths. As long as it lieth desolate it shall rest; because it did not rest in your sabbaths, when ye dwelt upon it. And upon them that are left alive of you I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee, as fleeing from a sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth. And they shall fall one upon another, as it were before a sword, when none pursueth: and ye shall have no power to stand before your enemies. And ye shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up."

Deuteronomy 28:64-67 says, "And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; ..."

One only needs to look up "Jews" in any encyclopedia for details the long history of persecution, massacre, and expulsion from various countries. Hitler's murder of 6,000,000 was not an isolated event, but part of a 2000 year trend. For example, thousands of Jews were massacred during the time of the Crusades (1000-1300 AD). Persecution of Jews was the norm as all Jews were considered partakers in the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. In the 14th century the plague known as the Black Death swept through Europe killing about one fourth of the population. Jews were often massacred as a result of the accusation that they spread the disease by poisoning water supplies. In 1492, all Jews were expelled from Spain, as was the case in Portugal just five years later. And there is much, much more.

Israel to be regathered

Just as the scattering of the people of Israel was prophesied, the Bible also prophesied that the people of Israel would be regathered to the land of Israel.

"... the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee" (Deuteronomy 30:3).

"... Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel" (Ezekiel 17:11).

All these prophecies are being fulfilled in these days.

It is the propaganda of arabs widely floated around in muslim countries that Jews are occupiers.

The Jews bought their land from absentee landlords, in many cases. The Jews did not dispossess an Arab nation of their flourishing homeland - they rejuvenated their Promised Land which had lain waste during their exile. They legitimately immigrated to the area when it was sparsely populated and bought land and settled it and made it prosperous. Most of the "Palestinians" moved in later to share the prosperity created by the returning Jews. Palestinians who speak frankly will tell you that it is better to work for Jews than for Arabs.

The Jewish settlements have been established only on:

Land in pre-existing Jewish communities, or Land that was unowned (that is, was previously controlled by Jordan and had no private owner), or Land purchased from established owners.

The propagandistic idea of Palestinian Arabs being "forced out" is not the case. Much land was still empty or underutilized. Many Jews bought the land or dwelling they moved to. When public land was involved, Israeli settlements were established only after an exhaustive investigation process, under the supervision of the Supreme Court of Israel, designed to ensure that no communities were established on private Arab land.

The fact is Arabains didn't like Jews from Prophet mohammed period. Jews were slaves at the time of Prophet Mohammed period in Arabia. Prophet Mohammed persecuted many jews. Now Jews have become so rich and properous which is not good in the eyes of arabians, so they want to destroy Israel at any cost. So, they use Palestinians as trump card. That's it.

But, Israel was there even before palestine. Remember King David, King Solomon?
Agreed with you. There was an area called Phalestine. But, it was not a country. There was no capital for that country. It was a waste land.
Ok, in 1948 UN has recognised two Countries Israel, Palestine. But, Arab countries
rejected it? Why they rejected the UN mandate? Till now, What steps Arab countries have taken to help palestinians to create a Palestine country? Israel is 1/600 of whole arab land. Can't these Arab countries keep these 4 million palestinian refugees in their land?

No mate, It's God's plan that Israel should be regathered. No body can change it.
