In the industrial city of Moorebank, Pennsylvania the chaos is rising. In the wake of a rash of assassinations and abductions the city is trying, and failing, to find peace.
William, the vampire Master of the City, has taken on advisors in an attempt to stabilize his Court, but the addition of a Temoin and a Second and Third is taking some adjustment as everyone settles in to their new roles.
The mad leopard Maalik still rules the pard, the pack has just been taken over by a stranger from out of town and no one knows yet what the new Ulfric, Sebastian's agenda might be. The rats have lost two kings in two months and many ask whether Luke is crazy to try and take on the responsibility for the unlucky Clan.
The city teeters on a knife's edge, balanced between order and chaos, safety and terror. Will the city be able to piece itself back together or will it descend into madness and war?

, the rules , the facts- By joining embraced you are agreeing to follow all of these rules.
- There are no limitations for characters. You may have as many as you feel you can handle, however if a character goes inactive for a month, with no warning of an absence, they will be put up for adoption or killed for plot making purposes. This decision will be reached by administration
- We will have an activity check every month to make sure that your character is active. If you miss the period to check in, your character will be up for adoption
- Be original – no celebrity names (yes, that does include character names from television shows).
, the registration- No, you may not use names like devil666 or jess_williams. You must register with a first and last name, with proper capitalization.
- No overly large signatures. Banners are to be no larger than 550 x 160 pixels, avatars are to be no more than 200 x 200 pixels.
- This board is rated Mature, which means if you can't deal with sex, drugs, violence, or whatever else will be posted up here, I recommend you find another site. You have been warned.
- OOC fighting will not be tolerated. You do it, and we have the rights to ban you from this site. You may, of course, fight In Character while posting, but fighting with a character's handler will cause trouble and there will be consequences.
, the application- No Gary-Stu’s. As this is an advanced board, we expect the characters to be well developed. This means there have to be flaws and points of weakness. Things they’re good at it, things they detest. Nobody’s perfect, not even me which – I know – is hard to believe.
- Before your application is accepted do not post anywhere else.
- Your character must be represented by a person. Not a drawing, but an actual person. It can be an unknown model or a celebrity face. After you have chosen one remember to claim it in the Face Claim.
- Whether you get accepted or not depends wholly on your application. Don't just rush through it – actually work on it because it can help you feel out who your character is.
, the rating- As stated before this is a Mature site. However, to be courteous to those who want to join the site but avoid it's mature contents, remember to mark the thread with a warning. Just a simple "Mature Content" will do.
- Sex // Pregnancy – as mentioned above if there is sex involved in the thread, make sure to write "Mature Content" in the subtext. Pregnancy is not allowed on this site, without Admin approval. Contact administration staff if you need a pregnancy with a good excuse
- Cursing is allowed, but please don't make it a first language for your character. No one goes around cursing all the time.
, the rest- God-modding is a definite no. If you don't know what that means, look it up. Though I have to wonder how long you've been role-playing.
- This is an Intermediate role-play site, which means that the posts must be well written. A minimum of two (5-9 sentences) paragraphs per post. As for grammar, try and keep it at a fairly high level. We understand that people make typos but a post riddled with errors is not what we're looking for.
- Admin have the final say. No matter what.
- All fights will be decided by the administration staff by flip of a coin. If you wish for a certain outcome for plot purposes please message administration staff
- This is a by invite only site. Only the head admin, Jennifer, has the right to invite people to the board. If you wish to have a friend play here, you must speak to Jenn before you even give your friend the link to this site.
