to the world of the lost
In the industrial city of Moorebank, Pennsylvania the chaos is rising. In the wake of a rash of assassinations and abductions the city is trying, and failing, to find peace.
William, the vampire Master of the City, has taken on advisors in an attempt to stabilize his Court, but the addition of a Temoin and a Second and Third is taking some adjustment as everyone settles in to their new roles.
The mad leopard Maalik still rules the pard, the pack has just been taken over by a stranger from out of town and no one knows yet what the new Ulfric, Sebastian's agenda might be. The rats have lost two kings in two months and many ask whether Luke is crazy to try and take on the responsibility for the unlucky Clan.
The city teeters on a knife's edge, balanced between order and chaos, safety and terror. Will the city be able to piece itself back together or will it descend into madness and war?

species -- Human, magic user
quirks & habits -- Smokes a lot of pot and a pack a day of Honeyrose herbal cigarettes, while also maintaining a vegan diet and consuming no caffeine, processed sugar, or artificial flavorings or chemicals of any kind. He wears a wolf claw pendant on a long leather cord around his neck and fiddles with it when he's thinking hard about something, poking the sharp tip with the pad of his thumb. Secretly listens to chickrock.
personality -- There's something vaguely creepy about Anthony on first meeting. Some people find it offputting, some find it attractive, but Anthony wears his dark side right out on the surface for all to see. Some people, particularly humans with a bit of psychic ability, are made uncomfortable being near Anthony; on the other hand shifters tend to feel very relaxed and pleased to be around him. Call it 'animal magnetism', in the literal sense.
Well-spoken but with a thick bayou accent, menacing yet with a good ol' boy charm, sophisticated yet knowledgable about nature and woodcraft, Anthony is a study in contradictions and works actively to keep himself that way.

family -- All dead. Maybe he did it, maybe it just happened. His real family is the pack anyway.
profession -- Sometime bartender and vargamor for Sebastian's pack.
overall history -- Born to a boring suburban middle-class family in New Orleans, Anthony was the skeleton in his own home's closet. He started manifesting magic well before puberty, a throwback to many generations before when his nice, white bread family tree had its roots buried in the foul-smelling bayou muck of of the city.
They weren't cruel to him, nothing like that. Just...uncomfortable around him. And when he found an old woman out in St. Tammany Parish to teach him his Craft, his parents were too grateful that he wouldn't be doing 'that' in the house any more to ask too many questions.
Cataline did things the old way, and taught Anthony the same. He learned hoodoo, roots, santeria, a mishmash of arts that a cleaner young man might have rejected but Anthony sucked it up like a sponge, reveling in the power and the very darkness that came with his teachings.
By the time he was twenty Anthony was a power to be reckoned with, but it wasn't enough. He traveled Lousiana, Haiti, Cuba, Brazil, seeking out secrets of his art and mostly finding them. When he returned to New Orleans at the age of twenty-four he had every intention of setting up shop and becoming a bokor for hire, but instead he met Sebastian.
The relationship between the two men is intense, complicated, and secretive. Even the rest of the pack doesn't know why Anthony serves the Ulfric so wholly. It may be raw loyalty. It's probably nothing to simple. But whatever the reasoning behind it, Anthony follows where Sebastian leads, in all things and all ways. At least for the moment.
