Sibling Bonding, Open

[Edward Sigma]

Ed followed behind his blonde haired sister. He shook his head at her current attire but let it go. Rose was dressed in her her favorite top and jeans while out with her brother. "Hurry up, Ed!" she called with a bright smile as she ran into the video store. "Ooohh. . they have Putting it Together! Gavin's older dvd!" she cooed, picking it up.

"He lives here in Moorebank now. I think he's back in England doing La Cage Aux Folies at the moment." he said, taking the DVD to look at it. "One more and that's it, Rose." he said, holding onto it as his sister slipped off to find another movie.

[Aurora Alexavier]

Aurora was looking through the DVD store as well, although not on the hunt for anything in particular, just killing time really. It was her day off and she was spending it like any girl would. Shopping. Although she hadn't really bought much... or rather she hadn't bought anything at all. But she was determined to go home with something new. Either way the exercise was good for her.

She turned and bumped into a girl, who was holding a dvd case and talking to an older man about it. Aurora apologized and walked around the pair to the next section, starting to skim the titles.

Edward saw Aurora and groaned in his head. He heard about this one. Always seeming to cause problems for the local shifters. "Sorry about that, Miss. She's excited to be out and about." he said with a grin beofre he moved past her quickly, hoping she wouldn't recognize him, and hurried after Rose. "Lass, you've got to watch where you're going!" he scolded her as he neared her in the comedy section. "What movie are we looking for?"

"Romancing the Stone." she said with a grin. "I love that movie ever since you let me watch it." Rose said with a giggle.

Shaking his head, he started helping his sister look for it. "Have you ever seen The Dark Crystal or Labyrinth? You might like those. I hear their making a sequel to The Dark Crystal. I'm actually wondering if it'll be any good." he said, leaving her side to find said. "Well, triple pack. MirrorMask?" he muttered and shrugged. "What the hell." He went back to his sister.

"I hope they don't." Aurora piped up as the man went on with his sister... he had to assume sister. Firstly the age gap had her hoping but mostly it was the way he was acting around her that her certain it was siblings not lovers she had walked in on. In the tradition of accidental conversations she introduced herself into their conversation. "I hate when they make sequels to movies just because of popular demand. Some stories work well on the their own." She pointed to the spine of the dark crystal "That is definitely one movie that doesn't need a sequel."

He smiled and shrugged. "I hear their using Henson's orginal script and doing the movie the old fasioned way, all puppets like the first one was done. I've seen concept art. Looks promising. Edward Sigma, by the way. The hyper one behind me is my sister, Rose. And you are?"

[Aurora Alexavier]

"Aurora." she introduced herself, not giving a surname and glad that she was right with the whole sibling thing. She hated working on her time off. "The puppets will be new mechanics and the special effects with be computerized." Aurora made a face at the whole idea. "But I guess all we can do is wait and see..."

"I'm a big kid at heart." he said with a grin before seeing where Rose was. "No! Absolutely no hentai, Rose!" he said with a frown, watching her pout and put it back.

"Ed!" Rose whined with a pout.

"No, Rose Elizabeth. I put up with Loveless, that's enough for me." he said, pointing to the general anime. He watched her go before turning back to Aurora. "She's a handful. Raised her since she was 13. Mam died around then."

Aurora watched it all with a small smile on her face. "I'm sorry to hear about your loss." she said automatically because that was the polite thing to do in western society when someone spoke about the loss of a loved one. "How old is she now?" Aurora asked, looking at the girl, and trying to guess her age

"19 and a pain in my ass." he said with an affectionate grin. "I was 30 when I took over raising her. I'm an old man now." he said with a smirk. "Wouldn't really chane it for the world. My siser is my life. We got back from Scotland yesterday, visiting our tad's parents." he said, shoving his free hand in his pocket. "Any kids or siblings you're taking care of?"

"God no, I'm only twenty three." she said with a bit of a laugh. "No, definitely no kids in my life, and all my siblings are well and truely on their own." She told him, composing herself. "I keep them in line with the law though. But being a cop it is kinda my job." she shrugged a little. "Don't coddle her to much." she told him, dropping her voice a little to speak to Edward alone. "The less freedom you give her the more she will fight it. I see it all the time down at the station. Kids getting up to no good because their dad gave them an early bedtime."

"Only rules with her is home by midnight and no boys when I'm working." he said, fixing his glasses. "I work at the hospital. I'm the head doctor who deals with all shifter related injured and injuries." he said with a touch of pride.

[Aurora Alexavier]

"Wow, doctor and devoted daddy figure. You going for Saint of the year, or you just like the warm fuzzies it gives you?" she joked with a laugh, casually touching his shoulder as she did.

"I like the warm fuzzies." he said with a grin as Rose came back over. She had a mega watt smile as she held up two of Gavin's cd's. "Please, Ed?" she asked.
"Fine, but this is it, Rose." he said, taking the CDs. "You stay here and keep Aurora company while I pay." He kissed Rose's temple and headed to the line to pay.

"Hi, I'm Rose. Nice to meet you." she offered, extending her hand to Aurora.

Aurora took it, chuckling lightly to herself as Edward walked off to buy the cd's. "Wow, you got him well trained. Whats the secret?' he asked good naturally. "He always spoil you like this? Or this a special occasion?" she asked

She giggled and smiled. "Only once a month do I get spoiled and that's only if I've kept my grades above a C. Other than that, I work in H&M stocking displays and working the register." Rose said, brushing her hair from her face. "And I use this time to hook him up. Not many people want to deal with him because of his condition."
