New York, Wounded Heart

[Amante]

Whimmpering and cowering Amante lay huddled against a cold damp grave stone. He had blood covering his hackles and a few scratshes across his muzzle. The stone he lay next to already had his blood smeared all over it. H'd been to this one stone for decades upon decades and this was the spot he was once found by his human. One was sure would worry if he didnt hurry up and get back to her. The problem was a few of the punks from Brooklins more then shabby projects had thought it fun to shoot BB guns at him for target practice...and currentlly Amante was too sore and weak to go much further then grave yard....ironic really.

[Shilaze]

Where was he? Shilaze had been driving around looking for her puppy since early evening. He was always home before dusk and yet tonight he was late "come on boy.. where are you?" she sighed as she drove around slowly "Amato..!?" she called pulling her truck into park easily sliding out of the monster seeing a crowd of no good thugs heading her way.. wait no.. they turned.. the grave yard.. wait her grave yard.. "hey.. Punks?" she smirked as they looked over to her "your on my property.. get off it before i have more bodies to bury" when they laughed she reached up and back into her truck pulling out her two gauge "now like i said.. get lost" she cocked her gun back watching them run off before she slipped the strap on and headed into the yard herself. "good thing my family does half own this place.." it was run down yes but all her family was buried here, so in a way.. she did own it "Amato.. you in here boy?"

[Amante]

Hearing his human Amante let out a pitiful half howl half whimmper to tell her of his location. He'd been here well over an hour bleeding and in the fidged cold. All he wanted was to go home and curl up on the bed and the covers with his human.

[Shilaze]

Hearing the howl Shilaze moved after the sound "Amato.." she sunk to her knees next to him burring her hand in his fur "my poor puppy.. who did this to you..?" she knew he couldn't answer her but if she found out who.. she would blow their brains out that simple.
"Come on lets get you home and healed.." shifting her gun carefully she tried picking him up carefully as she could "an get you on a diet.. right after your all healed up.." lifting him in her arms better she started for her tuck "I don't know why you always come here.. but glad i know where to look.." she didn't know what she would do if he ever did leave her.. he was all she had

[Amante]

Amante yalped as she picked him up jostling his sore wounds. At her comment about a diet he snorted at her. He was normal to low average for a wolf. Hell he wasnt even sure if she KNEW he was a wolf..though it wasnt hard to tell. Licking at her face he soon rested his head on her shoulder. With a yoddling he told her. "Wa wuve U." Then snuggled in closer and was thankful he didnt have to walk back to their appartment.

[Shilaze]

"Ok maybe not a diet but.. your heavy for me to carry you know" Shilaze sighed settling him down in the truck then slid in after him "I love you too Amato, don't you ever leave me ok?" she smiled then kissed his nose "hows stake sound for supper tonight? you deserve it with the night we both had.. an if your good beef liver for desert for you" she grinned he was always good "but after we eat I'm going to have to give you a bath.. no getting those sores infected and your fur cleaned too"

[Amante]

Amante shook his fur out at her. It wasnt his fault he out weighed her. Sitting high in his seat next to her Amante leaned over to lick at her cheek. He wasnt going anywhere. His tail wagging at the prospect of food he yapped happilly...that was until she mentioned a bath. His ears lowering he made a sad sound at her and gave a low growl as he went from sitting in his seat to hidding under it.

[Shilaze]

"Oh come on baths aren't that bad.. tell you what we can make a deal eat all your supper and I'll take one with ya hows that sound hum?" That an she could check his wounds, smiling she reached down to pat where she knew he tried to hide. "Come on Amato you know hiding don't work with me.. I always find you and" so this was going to sound silly "we can have bubbles int he bath this time too.." so she talked to him like he could answer and understand but he always had understood her when she asked him something..

[Amante]

"Wuff!" Poking his head up Amante licked at the hand that was petting him. "Wuh wuve wervles." Damnit...he'd learn to speak one day. For now all he could do was try.

[Shilaze]

Shilaze gave a soft giggle as she scratched his ears "I love.. was that.. bubbles?" she glanced over to him "If anyone heard me talking to you like this I ould be locked away in a straight jacket.." she sighed "but.. good thing you won't let them right?" she teased rubbing his head more as she pulled into the car port for her little apartment "can you walk in yourself or need me to carry you?"

[Amante]

With a nod and a yerf he confirmed her bubbles comment. When he heard about her being taken away his ears flattened and he bore his fangs with a vicouse growl before he lunged to giver her kisses and then rested his head in her lap. When they got home though he gave her his best puppy dog eyes. He really didnt want to walk...

[Shilaze]

"seems my hero needs carried hum.. alright.. but you owe me a night of no long walks" she leaned over to kiss his nose once more before sliding out of her truck then went to the other side opening the door and gently picking him up "hope i have some of that ointment left.." she sighed as she shifted his weight so she could carry him better "we are taking the elevator water they like it or not too.. no way am I doing stairs" she huffed as she headed for the lift. Normally there was a no pets rule but for all she carried right now if they didn't like it.. tell it to her puppy.
Fumbling with her keys she manged to unlock the door before toeing it open kicking it shut behind her as she headed for the couch dropping off Amato "now.. you rest here I'll turn on animal planet for you unless you want to watch cartoons"

[Amante]

Down on the couch now Amante picked the remote up in his mouth, held it between his pwas and nosed the power on button. After a few moments he got annoyed with the remote and picked up the channel guide and flipped the page open to paw at the movie channel. "Vis."

[Shilaze]

"or don't like my ideas.. what movie is on anyway?" she asked leaning over him to look up the name of the movie as she fliped to the movie channle "an save me a seat.. I need to get the stake started first" kissing the top of his head.
Getting the stakes out of the fridge an switched the oven on. Got two plates out, put the stakes in on the broiler to cook then sat the timer before sitting back on the couch "Did I miss much?"

[Amante]

Amante sneezed and shook his head then yiffed at the Tv screan playing 'Blood and Chocolate' Wagging his tail he nosed at her hand and waited for her ok to take his food.

[Shilaze]

"ah a wolf movie.. always good movies" Shilaze smiled "it'll be anther few minutes for the stakes to get done.. but you can go on an have our liver.. desert first for once ok?" she grinned as she passed him over the plate with the precooked liver "It might be a little cold but still good"
The timer about to go off she stood and pulled the stakes out dropping on on her plate then one in Amato's flicked the thing off them walked back over taking her seat next to him once more already cutting into her stake "go on eat up just careful you don't burn your tongue" she warned as she settled in closer to him "after the movie tho it's bath time deal?"

[Amante]

Grrr...he didnt have lips to cool it off! Blinking he turned side ways and wagged his tail at the food with a silly little grin. There! He could cool it this way. After a few moments though he was 'Wolfing' his food down and cut a sharp look at Shilaze as he merfed at her. "Dern wuhwa."

[Shilaze]

"Deal, wait don't want to.. you need a bath mister" she tilted her head at him "with bubbles as agreed.." she smiled finishing the last of her stake as well "after movie a nice good bubble bath for us both.. just no hogging all the bubbles I like them too." then after the bath she could change into her pj's an cuddle with her puppy for the night and be glad she had a good week off from work.. that was.. if she got her call back form being laid off. Either way she didn't have to work.. her family left her enough but.. she did anyway. "You know Amato.. sometimes I wish I could be like you.. or you like me. I'm sure you would make a good human.. if not better then most.. you'd want to bite some of the guys i work with.. I want to bite them and trust me.. don't mean a good way"

[Amante]

He huffed a 'fine' at her about the bath. If she wanted to cuddle up to wet dog smell it was her issue. Hearing about the men at her work though he snarled, lept off the couch with a yalp of pain and hobbled over to the door to scratch at it. He'd go tear those bastards up right now!

[Shilaze]

"Oh no you don't.. come back here you" she tisked at him "you can play hero after your healed up and besides.. you wouldn't want to bite those pigs, I'm sure they taste bad" she moved after him dropping down to lightly pull him into a hug "but thank you for the offer, I would let you if you wouldn't get taken away from me for biting someone.. then.. I;d bite them myself if i wouldn't be taken away either.." she shrugged "now are you done being Mr. Mocho and want to come cuddle with me on the couch for the rest of the movie?"
