MillisaAnn - September 29, 2006 02:30 AM (GMT)
Just wanted to let you know that my mom's uncle went home to be with the Lord late last night(Wed)( he had pneumonia and had been in the hosptital for 2 weeks) He was doing better and then all of a sudden he went down hill. The funeral is on Saturday afternoon. Please pray for my mom and her family during this time.

Thanks in advance for the prayers

God Bless,
Millisa

My mom wanted me to tell you all thank you for all your thoughts and prayers for her and her family during this time.

The funeral for my mom's uncle went well yesterday(Saturday) they had a military funeral( my uncle was a WW2 and Korea veteran) and it was really nice(never been to a military funeral before) they had an honor guard and everything. At the graveside portion of the funeral they had a gun salute and played the song "Taps"( I lost it at that point )

But I know He is with the Lord and one day I will see him again.

Please continue to pray for my cousin's especially as they get all my Uncle's affairs taken care of.

I pray that the Lord will continue to keep you and your family in His tender care even over the coming weeks. May His peace & grace be yours to overflowing during this time and beyond.
:foryou:

I ask that we all hold up in prayer the Amish children and their families who were killed in Lancaster , it will be a rough time emotionaly for the families and also for the ones who were sent out of the school who may feel guilt because they were spared. So please let us lift them all up in prayer. Also the family of the man who did this , they had no part in it , but will have to live with what he did. Thank you in advance.

MillisaAnn - October 10, 2006 04:48 PM (GMT)
Thank you SonofAslan.

And the families of the victims of the Amish school shootings are in my prayers too.

I suffer from clinical depression and these past two week and 6 more days to go for me have been sheer :banghead:

I am detoxing from 2 medications and am preparing to go on one soon and I have been miserable. Crying all the time, emotionals running a muck. To top it off one of my beloved cats needed to go to the ER for an obstructed urethra, I had to take him as my husband had a prior commitment. (My cats are my children we have no children and not by choice).

I just could use your extra thoughts, prayers and love during my time. I hope to bring Joey home tomorrow. I just want relief from all of this................. thanks.

For those who know me from other forums ... I'm an atheist and although I do not prey ... my heart and thoughts reach out to your family Millisa. I was horrified that the Amish community had to endure all that media intrusion and the loss of so many little ones. What an awful time for them all and for anyone else around the world who is so against violence.

Xiana honey ... you just hang in there! You do have faith in God and know that He will support you when you need him the most. My heart reaches out to you sweetie! :)

Hi Xiana I will be praying for you and will put you on our prayer chain at church. I know how you are feeling , but with prayer I have made it through the same thing your going through. God is the great healer and I will pray that he brings peace and healing to you.

MillisaAnn - October 17, 2006 05:07 PM (GMT)
Thanks for thinking about me and my family during this time Alex. :) :) :)

And Xiana, you will be in my prayers, Rely on God and He will help you. Remember:

1st Peter 5:7

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

And Isaiah 53:5

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Reading those verses again were very helpful in remembering I am not alone ultimately.

I am on day 8 with the depression patch but am still not feeling much better. I hope that something good will start to happen with these.

Joey is home safe and sound, we are $1200(US) poorer for it; but we have our Joey back!

Please continue to pray for me as there are days when I just want God to take me home to be with him.

Alex - October 29, 2006 02:19 AM (GMT)
Ahh sweetie ... I wish we lived closer! Try and focus on the positive things you are able to do with your life right now ... keep your chin up ... and know that you are NOT alone! :foryou:

Please be in prayer for a lady( her name is Betty) that we( me, my mom and sister) go to church with, she had triple bypass surgery before Christmas and had to be in the hospital again over Christmas due to fluid being in her lungs, she is now out of the hospital and at home. Please pray for her and her family during this time.

Thanks in advance for the prayers.

Bye!

I'm sure with the combined strength via prayer ... and other positive energy via those who do not pray but who care about the welfare of others ... your friend Betty will be on the mend soon Millisa honey! It must be a very scary time for her.

Elijah - December 29, 2006 06:20 PM (GMT)
