Note: The following are listed in alphabetical order, so that it may be easier to follow.

Absence: If you will be gone for a long period of time or quitting NeoRPG, please place a notice at the "User Farewells" forum, so that people won't think you're dead while you are in the middle of a role-play. If you get grounded for a week or are leaving on a trip for a month, it would be at least nice to let your fellow members know. If you are just gone for the weekend, don't worry about anything like that.

Advertising: Please don't advertise as you are role-playing. Also, do not advertise by using the PM [private messaging] system, for it is considered spamming. You can put a link in your signature or you can place the advertisement in the "Advertisements" forum.

Backseat Modding: If you're not a Mod, please don't correct another person, for it is very rude and it's not your job. If you notice something that should be brought to the attention of staff, feel free to PM a staff member or report the post in question. Do not take it upon yourself to "handle" any situation.

Character: You can create as many characters as you want in the "RP-Character Information" forum. There is no limit to the amount of characters that you can create.

Cybering: Cybering [cyber sex] is not allowed on NeoRPG. If another member requests or offers to cyber with you, please notify the staff. If you do not wish to follow this rule, I'm sorry, but please take your sexual fantasies elsewhere.

Double Posting: I'm sorry, but please don't do this. There is a reason why there is the "Edit" button if something needs to be changed. If something needs to be asked during an RP [role-play], please ask your question or so in the "OOC" that has the RP title's, if not make one. Or you can use (), [], {}, etc. However, there is the exception when starting a RP. That would mean one can have the first post as rules and such for the role-play and post afterwards.

Duplicate Accounts: Each user is allowed one account and one account only. If you lose or forget your password, feel free to e-mail the Admin or the Mods and we will deal with it. Please don't create a second account for a second character. You can just create a second character in the "RP-Character Information" forum. Duplicate accounts will immediately be removed from the forums. If you have forgotten your password, you may contact me or any of the moderators.

Flaming: Any flaming of NeoRPG, members, and/or staff members is unacceptable. If you do not like a particular thing about the forums, please post it in the "Comments & Complaints" forum. Immature rants ("It's not fair!" "No one will answer my question fast enough!" "I hate it here!") will be ignored and removed.

Godmoding: No godmoding, which means that you are allowed to play your character(s) and only your character(s). Please don't go around making others act the way you want or have them speak when their player does not wish them to. Godmoding also includes having your character all-powerful or killing another character without consent of the player. Everybody has weaknesses.

Language & Content: NeoRPG is open to all ages, general and mature adult language is allowed to an extent. I am also sure that people are smart enough to not over use swearing. Grotesque words and descriptions for body parts, bodily functions, and sexual extravaganzas are not allowed, as we expect our members to have a little common sense as to where the line between appropriate and inappropriate is. Topics regarding politics, religion, and other hot topic issues are only allowed in the "General Discussion" forum.

Literacy: We know that some people may be from different parts of the world and English is not their first language or that people are in a rush and are careless in editing. We do advise you to try your best. If we feel that we need to fix it, we will fix the obvious mistakes. It's fine to be semi-literate. Nobody's perfect. However, please refrain from using L33T-speak in role-plays, unless it's a part of the role-play (like if the role-play is set on the computer or something).

Passwords: Please do not share your NeoRPG password with anyone. You are responsible for your own account and you share your forum password with someone and they use your account to damage the forum, you will also be held responsible. Do not share your password with anyone, including staff members. Staff members would never ask for your password. If someone does ask for your password, please alert a staff member immediately.

Posting: When role-playing, please put a decent amount to your post. Please, no one-liners, as I know, many people don't like those. More than one sentence at least. Possibly two to three sentences minimum. Although, you don't have to go overboard either and type a report. Just a paragraph or more is fine.

Respect: Please show respect other members and the staff. It is very rude to just treat another like he/she is dirt. If you don't show any respect, I'm sure that you will not make many friends or enter any RPs.

Signatures: Signatures can hold 75000 characters. This amount should be used with responsibility. In the signature, pictures must fit the appropriate size of 150x500. If your signature is larger, we have the right to change your signature to make it correct or delete it.

SPAM: SPAM is an acronym for Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages. SPAM will automatically be deleted without warning. Spamming may also include pointless PMs and may be reported to a staff member, for it is abusing the PM system. Please remember, quality is better than quantity.

Threads: You can be involved in as many threads as you want as long and not have to have your character leave a thread just because you have to leave for the day. Just continue whenever you come back till it is completed. Although, it'll be troublesome when you're behind on the story.
