Yawning, a short boy wearing goggles was sitting against the hallway wall, head hung and his chin touching his chest. " I'm actually here early." He muttered to himself, wondering where his usual gang was. It was the start of a new school year and although Cerebros had seen his friends all summer-long, he sort of missed them. Even if he had just seen them yesterday.

People were bustling around, talking to others about what they did over the summer and how much they missed one another. Fiddling with his amethyst crystal, which he wore on a black cord around his neck, Cerebros scanned the hallways for any signs of his friends.

A loud commotion could now be heard from the front of the school as a black-haired female student made her way into the entranceway. "Cerebros! Cerebros. . . you're such an asshole!" was all that was shouted as she continued to make her way to the goggle-wearing student. As the shorter but much more hot-tempered Yarui finally found Cerebros, she kicked him in the head as a greeting and angrily said, "You left Sho and me at the restaurant yesterday, ass-hole. We had to pay the bill and it was really expensive!" Grabbing Cerebros by the collar and yanking him around as a way of emphasizing the unpardonable sin, she spat out in a venemously sweet tone, "-and that means you have to pay double to make up for it, okay?"

" Why do I have to pay double!? I thought you guys were on a date! And besides, I heard that Sho paid for you, so why should I have to pay you!?" The little demon asked, his head throbbing and spinning. " Now lemme go, you asshole!" Cerebros pried her hands off his collar and straightened it out. He had not buttoned his shirt so his necklace was exposed. " If you break my necklace, there will be hell to pay, girl." Cerebros poked her in the stomach angrily and glared at her through his goggles. A group started to form around the two and was somehow being split.

" Oh. Yarui. Are you still going on about that? It's okay you know." A brown haired boy said, considerably taller than the other two. " It's good to see you again, Cerebros." The boy calmly said and turned to the crowd. " Nothing to see here, keep moving." He said and the crowd started to break up.

Yarui continued glaring at Cerebros though a light blush now colored her cheeks. She hastily looked away and began muttering profanities under her breath. "We weren't on a date, Cerebros. . . get your facts straight before saying something like that!" She said in a huff tone, though his talk about his necklace intrigued her. "Why are you so strung up on that dingy old thing anyway, Cerebros?" She continued, giving the piece of jewelry a critical once-over before letting out a sigh. "O-Oh! Sho!" Her mood now turning a complete one-eighty, the black-haired student smiled at the brown-haired male and waved at him. "Did you hear of that new student, Sho? Apparently he has this huge scar around his neck. . . should we check him out?"

" Do you have a scar fetish or something?" Cerebros asked and clutched his necklace tightly, his goggles shielding his eyes. Releasing it, he then looked to Sho. " Good to see you man. How was your date?" Cerebros asked. The other boy was blushing as well, scratching his cheek gently.

" I think I've heard of him before. He has a sort of weird name... I think." Sho smiled at Yarui. " We're all in the same homeroom as him. Maybe we can meet him there? Or maybe now? Is he here?" Sho asked. " Class is about to start. We'll see him sooner or later." The boy shrugged.

"A scar fetish?" Yarui echoed, scrunching her nose and frowning. "Nah. I have a blood fetish though." She teased, giving Cerebros a joking smile. "A blood fetish that might pick your blood as its next target anyway." Her gaze focused once again on Sho and the familiar blush now colored her cheeks once again as she saw him blushing. "Well~ My friends told me that his name is Ayari Tsuchimikado. He apparently got perfect grades at his old school." The female sighed softly and brushed a stray piece of hair away from her eyes. "Anyway. . . I think I'm gonna go to class now. I'll see you two later!" Flashing both of them a grin, she spun around on her heels and made her way to her first period, humming all the while.

" I'mma gonna go too." Cerebros said. " See you later, man." He saluted casually to his friend and then walked off in a different direction. Sighing, Sho decided that it was time to go for him as well and entered his first class. He saw that his teacher was slumped over the desk, obviously tired. He had blue hair and was tied back a little sloppily. Raising his head, his tired blue eyes scanned the room.

Flinching, Sho went to a seat and sat down. ' Oh no. I have one of the Kagekumos...' He thought to himself and sighed, banging his head against the desk. ' Although this one is harmless... I think.' He thought and raised his head a little to look at his teacher.

Pluto leaned against the wall, listening on the trio's earlier conversation for a while and stayed there until he heard their footsteps begin to fade. The hood of his pull-over jacket was up, blocking his eyes. "I guess I should go, too," the boy said with a smile. He removed his hood to reveal his violet eyes and his raven hair that was supposed to be shoulder length, but tied back. He had headphone speakers on, connected to his mp3 player in his pants pocket. Pluto followed after Yarui, careful to leave a distance of a yard and a half between the two of them.

Yarui continued to walk at a steady pace, now joining one of her other friends in the walk to her first period. The two briefly hugged one another before starting up a friendly conversation, though the newer of the two had a much less confident tone than Yarui did. Laughing at a joke her friend made, Yarui didn't notice a white-haired boy chatting to one of his own friends in front of her until she bumped into him. The white-haired boy swore softly and cast a glance over at Yarui, gazing at her critically with his emerald-green eyes. Next to him stood the new student of the grade, Ayari Tsuchimikado, who looked inquisitively at the two female students.

Slowly walking in with an entire pot of coffee in his hand, a tired-eyed teacher leaned against the board and drank from his pot heartily. Eying the class he had now and then his eyes fell onto a certain white-haired student. Smirking tiredly, he continued over the class before finishing with Yarui and then his eyes moved back. " Settle down, class." The man called out and the entire room fell silent. " So it's the first day back. There's no rush to learn anything right now so if you have any incomplete summer vacation homework, you may do it now." The man said before allowing the class to do their things.

A unified sigh of relief could be heard from the majority of the class as they got to work. Ayari looked over to Toya for guidance, wondering what he should do with his already completed summer homework. Toya flashed him an encouraging grin, pointing to the desk in the front of the classroom as a place to turn it in. The white-haired boy, on the other hand, chanced a glance over at his teacher before letting out a loud sigh. "What if some of us don't want to finish the summer homework?" He mumbled under his breath, now leaning back in his seat and resting his legs comfortably on the table. "It's so boring and drab. . . there's nothing useful in there at all."

Smirking, Alkain pushed his hair back out of his eyes and drank his coffee. " Then you're just going to have to stay after school and have a little chat with me." He said threateningly before continuing to drink his coffee. The others in the room were eying Toya warily when another white haired boy came through the door, sporting white dogs ears and a tail.

" Sorry I'm late. Mr. K was late and so I was late." The boy said and threw his bag into an empty seat. " That damn man wakes up so damn late." The boy growled.

" That's fine. Just take your seat, Dante." Alkain said, looking a bit miffed that his own son was the reason why this boy was late.

Pluto made it to class, a bit later than expected. The boy made his way to his usual seat and removed the headphones, revealing two piercings on his right ear and three on his left. 'Summer homework, huh,' he thought, not sure if he remembered to do it or not. "Craaaap!" he said aloud, catching the teacher's attention. "Hey, does anyone have the summer homework? I can't find mine!" he said with a stupid grin on his face.

"Hmph. A chat with you sounds much more interesting than doing summer homework," Toya smoothly shot back in reply, smirking to his teacher in a way that only the two of them could understand. He looked over at the newcomer, blowing a stray piece of hair away from his face. "You can come sit with me then, Dante. I have lots of extra room here." Toya indicated the empty chair next to him with a grin. In fact, the whole first row - aside from Ayari, who was sitting next to him - was empty.

Ayari looked over at the newcomer curiously and gave him a genuine smile, already liking his goofy attitude. "I can show you mine. . ." He softly said, homework papers still clutched tightly in his hand. "Or. . . well. . . not show, exactly. . . but tell you what it is, I guess?" He corrected with a light laugh.

Dante raised an eyebrow. " Who's the geeky new kid, Toya? You hanging with a new crowd?" He asked, a rough Italian accent lingering in the back of his voice. Shaking his head, Alkain hung his head.

' I have to work with a bunch of misfits? I'm not paid enough to do this.' He thought to himself and finished his coffee. Sighing, he realized how many people actually did their summer homework but smirked back at Toya. " I can't wait for our chat after school, Toya." He said before going over to his desk.
