Private Pokemon Party, say that 5 times fast

In the Sinnoh region, a great team of evil has formed. That team is Team Aurora, a combination of Rocket, Aqua, Magma, and Galactic. Team Aurora decided to gather the power of the legendary Pokemon in order to gain the control of the world. Over time, they have managed to capture Kyogre, Groudon, Lugia, Ho-oh, Raikou, Darkrai, Phione, Cresselia, Moltres, and Latias. A Celebi escaped to the past in order to prevent Team Aurora from being successful with their plan. So, Celebi gathered Unown in order to pass the message onto any humans capable of preventing a horrible future and to bring new hope.

Note: Team Aurora is small when the role play starts and have only managed to capture Kyogre, Moltres, and Phione.

Khinn sat in a chair, listening to Professor Rowan talk about Pokemon. His usual lecture when she got to his lab. She's been living in the Sinnoh region for about 2 months and has already gotten used to the area she moved in. Noir liked it as well. She even made a new friend: Maria. Since their interests coincided with each other, they got along pretty well.

Roark recently discovered some ancient text in Oreburgh Mine, and Professor Rowan was told of the discovery. He decided to send Khinn and Maria to Oreburgh to figure out the texts and find out their meaning, especially since Khinn seemed to have a knack for understanding Unown.

Maria's first thought as she left her hometown of Canalave was that she should meet with an expert so she knows where she should look for legendary Pokemon information first, and the first expert she thought of was Professor Rowan of Sandgem Town. Surely he would know where she should look first.

Once she reached the small town of Sandgem, she had run into a girl around her age (who she called Khinn) who was also interested in Pokemon like she was. They quickly became friends and frequently visited Professor Rowan together. One day, when they were visiting the Professor, he told them of a discovery of ancient text in Oreburgh, and decided to sent the two girls to check it out.

Maria was estatic when she heard this. Finally, a chance to learn more about Pokemon history then what books have told her! With this thought, she happily gathered her two Pokemon companions and set off for Oreburgh with Khinn.

Sighing, Sammy kicked the ground. Jubilife was too big for someone like him. Wandering around, he heard his stomach grumble loudly. " Ugh...." Sammy groaned and placed his hand on his stomach. " Where... is the... Pokemon Center?" He asked, obviously exasperated. He was too tired to look so he sat down and looked at his lone pokeball. " Well, at least I got you pal," Sammy grinned happily.

Khinn walked along the streets of Jubilife, wandering about, seeing if there were any stray Pokemon about, totally forgetting Maria was with her. Figuring that some trainers might have strange Pokemon, she decided to go to the Pokemon Center. "Hey, Nurse Joy~!" she said with a smile as she walked through the doors. "Any interesting Pokemon lately?" Nurse Joy shook her head as she said, "I'm sorry, Khinndra, other than your's, I haven't seen any strange Pokemon." Khinn just sighed. "It's alright, Nurse Joy, I'll check again later!" she said before she ran out the door. As she walked down the streets, she realized that she left Maria behind. So, she walked around the city, looking for her friend. She then noticed a boy sitting on a bench, looking at a Pokeball. "Hey!" she said, wondering if he had seen Maria around. However, before she could ask, his stomach growled. "Ah, wait," she said as she dug her bag for the extra sandwich she made this morning. "Here," she offered it to him. "You can have it."

" Are... Are you serious?" Sammy grinned wide as he took it happily and tossed his pokeball. " C'mon out, Blitz!" Sammy said. Out came a growlithe who promptly shook itself out and barked twice. " It's lunch time!" Sammy said offering half of the sandwich to his pokemon and devoured the other half. Obviously, Blitz was very hungry as he too devoured the sandwich. " Gosh, thanks." Sammy smiled. He looked at her and assumed that she was a better trainer than he was as he looked down to the ground in reverence.

The buildings were much taller than she was used to, so Maria was wandering all over Jubilife completely surrounded by tall buildings with no idea where she was. She had somehow lost Khinn and wondered the streets alone. "How the heck am I going to find her?"

She settled herself to sit on a bench (since she was always told not to wander if she got separated from someone) and watch the random passerbys, hoping to recognize a head full of silver and black. She recognized none.

"Grah!! How are supposed to get to the ancient text at this rate!?" she muttered exasperatingly.
Then an eerely smooth voice came from behind her. "Did you just say 'ancient text'"?

Maria spun around on her seat, coming face to face with a tall stranger blocking the sun, making him a dark sillouette whose features Maria had to squint to see. He was wearing a hat that almost completely hid his jet-black hair. His eyes were staring down at Maria as if he knew exactly which ancient text she was talking about, his knowing grin almost confirming this suspision. His hat matched his really bizzare outfit, which almost seemed like it was shimmering with mysterious lights of white, silver, and purple.

Maria leapt from her seat and faced the stranger. "N-no, i didn't!" she said, slightly flustered. Was she supposed to keep this a secret? She couldn't remember.
"It sure sounded like it," the stranger said cooly as he moved past the bench and closer to Maria.

Maria backed away slowly as he approached. She didn't like the vibe the stranger was giving off, and her instincts told her to get the heck as far away as possible.

"You're going to Oreburgh, aren't you?"

That was when Maria bolted, throwing an excuse of meeting a friend behind her. How did that guy know so much? She didn't want to stick around to find out who he was. She just wanted to find Khinn as and get to Oregurgh (and far away from the stranger) as quickly as possible. While she ran, she finally spotted the familiar bundle of silver and black and made a beeline right for it, and upon reaching it, spilled her entire story about the stranger to her friend, completely oblivious to the boy she was previously speaking to.

"It's no problem," Khinn said with a smile. "My name's Khinndra, Khinn for short. What's your name? ... And why are you looking down?" Noir tugged lightly on Khinn's sleeve. "Hunh? What is it Noir?" she said as she turned around, meeting Maria who just started bursting out a stream of words. Not understanding Maria because she was talking too fast, Khinn knew just what to do to make her stop for a moment. She poked Maria straight on the nose! Putting her hand down, Khinn spoke, "Calm down and start from the beginning! You're talking way too fast!"

Blitz watched the two and blinked. He wagged his tail and then looked up to Sammy. " Wow..." Sammy said looking up to Maria and Khinn. Blitz sat down next Sammy and looked up to the last bit of sandwich in Sammy's hand. " Here you go," he said happily and fed it to Blitz.

Maria rubbed her nose in annoyance after Khinn had poked it. She didn't think she was speaking that fast. After wrinkling her nose to rid it of the tingly feeling, she explained her story again, slower and calmer. When she finished, she glanced around her shoulder to make sure the stranger hadn't followed her, and after confirming he hadn't, turned her head around and finally noticed the boy that Khinn was previously talking to and his Growlith that sat idly by, eating a sandwich.

"Ah! I'm sorry! I interrupted you two just now didn't I?" Maria asked worriedly. "I'm Khinn's friend, Maria," she added quickly.

Khinn took a moment to dwell on Maria's story. "I thought only the Professor and Roark knew about that discovery..." she mumbled. Then an idea popped into Khinn's head. "Maybe it's one of the Professor's rival's assistants!" she concluded, thinking so many other conclusions. "Or maybe--" Noir covered Khinn's mouth with his tail. Khinn moved Noir's tail. "We should get to Oreburgh before that weird-stalker-guy reaches the ruins before we do," she declared. "If he gets to the ruins before we do, then we won't be able to find out what secrets lie in those writings for ourselves!" She crossed her arms. "He'll probably ruin the beauty of the ruins with his gaudy outfit, too," she mumbled.

Sammy nodded as he looked up at the two. " Wow, what are you guys talking about?" Sammy asked softly. Blitz looked up to the two and perked up its ears. " Oreburgh? Where's that?" Sammy asked and looked to his pokemon. " I'm lost, what about you?" Sammy asked. Blitz whined in response and lay down, resting his head on his paws.

Maria glanced at the boy. If he didn't know where Oreburgh was, he was probably a new trainer. He and his Growlithe seemed to have a good relationship though. She glanced towards Khinn. Her friend mentioned the ruins in front of the boy (whose name she still hadn't learned), so she assumed it would be rude to tell him nothing. She'd feel bad if she left him out after overhearing so much. "Oreburch is a city nearby," she whispered in case the stranger was still around. "Professor Rowan asked Khinn and I to check out some ancient text found there." Then Maria got an idea. "Why don't you come with us? You seem to be a new trainer, so this should be a good experience for you!" Maria herself wasn't exactly a trainer. She got her Azurill as a present from her father and Pichu decided to follow her around. She was more interested in the legends then the gym badges that Khinn was collecting.

"There's also the first Gym there, too!" Khinn added, figuring he'd be interested in that. "And I still haven't learned your name, yet!" Noir tugged on Khinn's sleeve. Khinn looked at the Poketch on her wrist. "We should get going soon, otherwise Roark wouldn't lend us his gear!" Khinn's eyes widened. "If we can't borrow his gear, then we'll have no idea where those ruins are!" Once again, Khinn ran off toward Oreburgh without thikning, leaving Maria and Sammy behind. As she reached the gate, she realized that she forgot about Maria and Sammy, so she waited for them at the gate, playing with Lance.

" My name?" Sammy asked standing up and watching Khinn run off. " Wow. She sure is energetic," he said softly as he returned Blitz back to his pokeball. " My name is Sammael. Sammy for short. Pleased to meet you," he said to Maria. " I suppose we should follow her," he said to Maria as he started to walk after Khinn.
