Story: It is your first time in the gaming world and you are amazed by it. How realistic it is and how fun it is. However, a virus hit the game, locking everyone's minds into the game. This is the work of a Doctor Veshu, thinking he could use the useless bodies to harvest parts for his artificial dolls whose minds are, too, in the game. There are five dolls in total and must be defeated to release the locked minds in the game.

Skye was outstretched on his own pet farm, under a tree. He was stuck in the game so he actually had the time to earn enough money to purchase the land. A ghost, named Flaire, hovered over him over-protectively while other cute, newly hatched pets were surrounding him. Skye sat up, and grabbed his sword. He got up from the spot and left his farm, remembering to lock the gate. Flaire still followed him. Skye opened up several windows, each on rumors on Dolls. There was one that he had not seen before. It was the rumor of a Doll in a forest that was only accessible by Level A or B players. Skye clicked his tongue. Some of his pets and spirits were Level A or B, but it wouldn't grant him access to the forest. Skye went to a town's bulletin and posted a note: "Searching for a Level A or B player to journey with into Mirage Forest to investigate Doll rumor."

Making her way down the dirt path was Ran. She had recently accepted the fact that the dolls that could be the savior had to be found. However, she still was uncertain of how easy this mission would be. Seeing a town up ahead, Ran hastened her strides towards it. Ran had been hoping for days, to find information about the dolls. She had been going from place to place trying to find more clues, with little success. This town, with any luck, is the one, which would change her seemingly endless journey.

Reaching the center of the town, Ran stopped and glanced around at all the players in the area. She tried to eavesdrop on any of the conversations, but failed to hear anything about the dolls. Guessing maybe someone would post something about the dolls; she headed towards the town's bulletin. Only a few yards away from the window, she could read most of the posts. Ran noticed a certain post reading: "Searching for a Level A or B player to journey with into Mirage Forest to investigate Doll rumor." As she came closer to the note, stopping only a few feet away, she smirked with joy. Making her own reply, she stated:

"I am a level B player and searching for these dolls. Therefore, if you would like to work together, i would gladly help. I will stay in town and wait for your reply. -Ran"

Posting the note, she went off, planning on coming back in a few hours.

A window popped up in front of Skye. It was a reply to his bulletin post! Flaire was no longer with him, but was replaced by a large wolf named Vingador, who obviously out-sized its owner and was very intimidating because of it. Skye was staring at the reply. 'Huh,' he thought. 'Never thought of getting a reply that quickly.' Skye responded to the reply: "I'll meet you in the town square. I will be the one atop the Deviwol pet. Thank you for accepting my request. -Zephyr Skye" The message was sent.

'That should be a sufficient reply,' he thought as he mounted Vingador. He brought up Vingador's stats window to double check if it was okay to bring him to Mirage Forest and had a sufficient amount of feed for the over-sized wolf. "Alright, let's go to town square," he told Vingador. Vingador howled before trotting towards their destination.

Alabaster chuckled as he wiped the strip of white hair away from his red eyes but it quickly slid back into place. ' So now people are going after the dolls... I suppose I should help out.' He smiled. The merchant put in his reply:

" I am an A-ranked player. If the town square is the meeting place, I will see you there.
- The Abnormally Optimistic Merchant"

He turned away from the board and started walking into town. He realized that one of the players that he was to meet up with was but a few feet away from him. He preferred not to close his shop on such a short notice but he did what he had to and walked towards the town square. A player on a Deviwol would not be hard to find so Alabaster figured he had a little bit of time to kill.

Sitting on the fountain edge in the center of the square, he became bored and started to look at his stats. Ah, to be an A-ranked player. It certainly brought in the money with all the semi-rare things he could find in dungeons with that rank. Although, it did make him a little paranoid. He really did not want to be deleted with his mind still in the game.

Deciding to recheck the posts, Ran opened up the window and saw that everyone was meeting at the town square. 'Dang, there is a level A player joining us ... awesome! Maybe this time when we go in the forest I won't die. But then again, I love the rush I get before I die by another player's hand,' Getting back to the matter at hand, Ran headed towards the square.

Nearing the square, she noticed another demon sitting on the edge of the fountain. Thinking nothing much of him, Ran continued toward the fountain. 'So the host of this meeting will be on a Deviwol pet.' Thinking the the host would not appear for a while, Ran stated to play with the fountain's water. Since she is a water demon it is only natural that she loves the water.

Skye came riding into the town’s square and hoped that Vingador’s abnormally large size would not surprise his new party members. He looked around and saw that his new companions were at the fountain. He dismounted the Deviwol and greeted them. “Hello, I am Zephyr Skye, a Level C swordsman” he introduced himself. “And this big brute of a Deviwol is Vingador, Level A,” he introduced his pet as he petted Vingador’s side. “Thank you for responding to my request on the bulletin and for joining me in this quest,” he said with a bow. “I hope that all your preparations have been made in order for I would like to leave as soon as possible. Transportation is not a problem, for we will be riding atop Vingador. Unless you have a problem with that.” Skye smiled. He looked between the two players, realizing that they haven’t met each other yet. “Oh! Uh… You two haven’t met each other, have you?” he asked, looking like a typical, all innocent-like elf, hoping that we wasn’t known for his bloodthirsty attitude but was, instead, known for his pet/summon breeding and raising.

" Ah! So you're Skye?" Alabaster asked as he stood up and then nodded to him. He was known for his pet breeding but Alabaster seemed to know him for something else. " I've heard great things about you. And about your pets as well." Alabaster said as he looked at Vingador. " I'm Alabaster Sanguine. A level A merchant, at your service." He smiled and then turned the last player in their group.

' A water demon... This ought to be fun.' He thought to himself. His affiliation was fire even though his attacks were mostly wind and ice. He preferred not to use fire spells and wished he were a wind demon instead.

Turning her attention away from the water, she sat listened to Skye's introduction and then Alabaster's. Nodding her head toward the level A player, she proceeded to introduce herself. "Hi, my name is Ran Wenling, a level B ninja. I am looking forward to working with all of you," she finished with a smile.

Standing up and quickly putting her light blue hair up with a pair chopsticks, she turned to Skye and continued, "As for the mission, Mr. Skye, I am ready at anytime," she said with a smile. However, as Ran stepped up next to Alabaster, a shiver ran down her causing the smile to disappear. 'What the hell? What was that odd feeling just now?' Ran thought before dismissing the odd disturbance.

"Thank you, Alabastor." Skye smiled at the merchant and said, "I take great pride in raising my pets. If you want a good deal in a summon or a pet, no matter the level, you can come to me." It was obvious that Skye enjoyed talking about his pets and summons. "I'm trying to find and/or raise a legendary Level S pet," he said with great spirits.

Skye blushed slightly out of embarrassment as he rubbed the back of his head from what Ran said. "You don't need to call me 'Mr. Skye' y'know," he said. "Skye is just fine." Skye looked at Vingador, who crouched close to the ground. "My Vingador is ready to go," he said as he mounted the Deviwol. Vingador looked at the other two players, as if bidding them to get on his back.

" Please, ladies first." Alabastor said. He thought about what Skye had said about S-ranked pets and tilted his head. " Very few A-players have achieved an S-ranked pet... I heard one might be in the forest we are going to but I'm not so sure..." Alabastor said, going off one of the rumors he had heard from a customer. He thought about it more and smiled. " Well. Good luck, nevertheless." Alabastor said as he waited for Ran to mount Vingador.

Smiling at Alabastor, Ran headed towards Vigador. However, she stopped for a moment in front of Vingador and started to pet the big wolf. "Awww, aren't you the cutest creature!" Ran exclaimed as she scratched the wolf behind the ears.

Having finished petting the wolf, Ran mounted it turned to the two players and asked each one something that had been on her mind for a while. "If I may, I would like to ask each of you a question. M- Skye, I have been meaning to ask a pet raiser this question. These pets that are raised, are they good when it comes to fighting?" Ran then turned to Alabastor and asked something that she had been thinking of since she stood next to him. "Alabastor, are you a fire demon?"

Vingador's tail wagged at the delight of being scratched behind the ears. Skye laughed. Vingador was certainly acting like a puppy. Ran then asked a question and Skye blinked for a moment. 'That was certainly straightforward,' he thought. "Well, Ran," he started off. "Each pet has their own ability so not all are good at fighting, but instead offer good support. So whether they are good at fighting or not depends on the pet itself," he explained. "For example, Vingador here already had basic fighting skills, which were honed through proper training and raising so that he can be useful in battle," he said as he petted the Deviwol. Skye grinned proudly and said, "I raised Vingador exceedingly well that he can carry up to five people on his back, which is double the weight limit of a normal adult Deviwol."

Skye quickly got back to the main topic. "So, overall, there are those who can fight, those that boost stats, those that can heal, and those can do certain tasks that are impossible for just a player to perform." Skye's proud grin turned to a frown. "Although, there are some risks to raising pets. For example, you have to sacrifice my own experience points, then the amount of money they cost for food and any possible damages babies may cause, and the risk of not caring for them properly." He sighed as he stretched a bit. "Some other breeders and raisers are jealous of how far I am that I get reported for hacking and such." Skye stopped talking for a moment then laughed. "Oh, I'm sorry! I'm talking too much about my own problems."

Alabastor smiled and waved his hand to excuse the forming tension she had of him being a fire demon. " Don't worry. I'll try not to cause too much of a ruckus. I wanted to be a wind demon but I was stuck as a fire demon. Hopefully we'll get along together." Alabastor said. " This mission sort of depends on it." He said on a more serious note. Smiling again, he stretched. " Well. We shouldn't be dawdling here at the square. We have a forest to get to." Alabastor said. " Please don't worry about any trouble I may make, Skye. I'll keep to myself." He said properly.

Yuya wandered around town seemingly without a purpose, but she wasn't. She was listening for anything related to Dolls and their locations. Some people spoke of the Dolls, but they were all exageratted lies, such as the Dolls were created by a hacker that increased their power levels so high that even an A ranked player would be instantly K.O.ed. Others even doubted the Doll's existance, believing that it was a glitch that will be fixed by the game producers. But Yuya knew none of those were true. Oh how rumors fly, but there were few rumors about the location of dolls. Other players didn't know, and Yuya wasn't sure where she could find out.

"Didn't anybody get their butt kicked by a doll by now?" she asked aloud. She ignored the strange looks.

She went to the town bullitain board hoping for some form of clue. Loh and behold! She found one! However, the post asked for A or B ranked players, and she was neither. She was still a C. Darn.. She glanced around and saw three people were gathered, obviously making preparations to go somewhere. She instantly knew they were the group going to the Mirage Forest.

She had three options. One, she could ask the group if she could tag along. Two, she could follow them and sneak in while the entrance to the forest had been granted. Three, she could give up on the rumor and find her own. Easy choice.

"Hey, excuse me! I know I'm only a C-ranked player, but do you mind if I tag along? I'm interested in seeking out the Dolls as well."
