DAINTREE FOREST Daintree Forest offers the most protection without being isolated. Miles of large trees fill the area and dozens of streams peacefully flowed here long ago. now they are all dried up.

BRENKKO PLATEAU A Plateau located near the south end of the island. Brenkko Plateau is an elevated area of land with a flat top and sides. The plateau is covered with grass and makes this a great spot for a quick meal. In the daytime, the plateau offers shade to anyone who welcome it.

DENJAK BASIN Located at the bottom of the mountains, it goes on for miles. Every species of animal can be found roaming about. There isn't much shelter here, but it's a good place for the foals to romp and learn how to survive.

MEER SWAMP Located in the center of the island, Meer Swamp is a low-lying wetland of deep, soft soil with algae covered water. There is an over abundance of bugs, making the place quite irritating to be around, but the topography is beautiful. If you can get past the wretched stench, Meer Swamp is a great place to get away.

MOUNT IRE Mount Ire, for all its grand beauty and sense of wildness, is embedded in a human environment that creates special challenges. Nitrogen deposition, growing elk populations, and fragile ecosystems are major management concerns. Elk, mule deer, moose, bighorn sheep, black bears, coyotes, cougars, eagles, hawks and scores of smaller animals are only a handful of animals that make the mountains their home.

ALPINE TUNDRA The alpine tundra biome exists on rocky mountaintops and is very similar to the arctic tundra except for a conspicuous lack of trees. Most of the alpine tundra plant life consists of shrubbery and small leafy plants which serve as dinner to a variety of grazing animals such as bighorn sheep and mountain goats. Other alpine tundra animals include elk, pika, marmots, and birds.

LAKE TAHOE Lake Tahoe is in the middle of everything. It used to be an abundant source of water, but over the years it's grown smaller and smaller. The dirt around the outside is cracked and only after a severe rain will the lake fill up enough.

MANX GLEN The steep hills surrounding several lakes are filled with loose shale from glacial moraines. This material has eroded over the past 10,000 years to produce beautiful rocky glens and waterfalls as rainfall has descended toward the lakes below. There isn't an abundance of foliage, but closer to the small lakes you can find a meals worth of lush green grass.

LUX SPRINGS The springs can be found up in the mountain pass. Over the years the rain water corroded away at the mountains and created a large pool for the water to collect. With many streams running down the cliffs, this is the main source for some of the purest water known to man.

KATSIKI SHORES Lying between the shores of Turtle Beach and Bay Shore, this beach is the splitting point between the two territories. Named after the famous 'Porto Katsiki' in greece, this shore line is dotted with massive cliffs and hard to reach caves.

CHETWOOD FOREST Chetwood Forest is one of the only places that one can find shade. Although many of the trees have died or fallen, some of them still provide what everyone seeks out. Many different species of animals linger and it isn't unusual to see a family of rabbits or the occasional deer.

NARIN CAVES Narin Caves is a good place to head when you're in need of some peace and quite. The caves are large and many animals can be found around them, but beware, the occasional bear has been known to live here.

OPIK VALLEY Opik Valley is a very large valley full of small rivers and rolling hills. In the spring and summer time it is full of flowers and all sorts of wildlife. As beautiful as the landscape is, everyone is slightly weary of it because it smells the heaviest of humans. Trees dot the landscape and even in the wintertime they retain their leaves, making this a prime spot for coverage.

WILK PLAINS This is the spot where most of the elk can be found grazing. The Wilk Plains are miles long and they are nothing but dirt, grass and weeds. In the summer time, fires are frequent and in the winter time, it's deadly to stay out too long since there is no shelter.

TURTLE BEACH Being the southernmost beach on the island, Turtle beach was named after what the humans found to be the breeding site for many different species of turtles. Located in the Croix territory, the miles of beaches are a good place to get away.
