Falton. A land where Thunder rolls, where Lightning dances across the sky. A place where Fire rises, where Water crashes, where Earth falls from the mountaintops, where Wind whistles. A place where peace between the clans has been broken from the human destruction of the world's delicate ecosystem. Welcome to Falton.

Sayaka felt the tickle of a yawn arising from deep within his throat. Holding it back, he eventually stifled the sensation with sheer willpower. He lay near the very top of the large mass aptly entitled "Glowing Rock", front paws crossed one over the other and his face rest atop of those. His eyes continuously scanned the horizon, dodging from left to right as they took in everything in the surrounding area. There was not much moving around him, soft clouds rolling by as the light from Glowing Rock filtered through them and was reflected to bring an extra soft shine to the landmass that Sayaka found himself laying on. He breathed out, his nose twitching ever-so-slightly as his eyes took on a silvery and bored expression. Raking his left paw's toes over the shiny earthen matter Sayaka thought to himself about future plans.
It was often that the Faltor male found himself bored and thinking of ways to occupy himself while trying to ignore the impending threat of doom threatened by the other clans warring with one another. It wasn't something that Sayaka had much interest in. If he was completely honest and someone asked him about him (which frankly, he most likely would be as it wouldn't serve him any benefit to lie about such trivial matters at this stage of the game) he would outright say perfectly straight-faced that he wished they'd all wipe one another out and just be done with it. He came off as rude and brash for that, but Sayaka didn't give a damn about it really. It was his opinion and if someone didn't like it they should just turn themselves around and trot off and back into the burner.
Certainly, Sayaka was the sort of Faltor that didn't get along with too many others - no matter who or what they were. That is why he enjoyed this time alone, time where he was not bothered by the problems of Falton at the moment and in the next immediate one. He could let out a soft sigh through his muzzle, one that would not be immediately heard to anyone sans the soft breeze carrying itself across his fur, brushing it gently and pushing it only very slightly not more than a centimeter or two to the right of where it would normally be sitting pristinely like soft charcoal resting on top of a bed of freshly cut obsidian. He was an almost majestic sight, the light from Glowing Rock radiating off of his fur as Sayaka slowly raised his head, muzzle tilting up to the sky above him, sniffing the air.
Closing his eyes for not more than a moment before snapping open again, turning his head to the left where he sensed a new presence - it smelled like a Faltor but was unsure of exactly who it was. He continued to lay in his spot however, as he watched the new figure approach.

A small smirk played on Myu's maw as she looked across the rock. A new Psychic Faltor, eh? New Faltors from distant lands have been popping up everywhere, so it wasn't unusual to see an unfamiliar face around anymore. She prowled to the brooding male, closing her eyes. She could feel the energy emitting from him; it was very negative...
Your energy is foul, was the only thing she stated. The only way she would ever speak was through telepathy, unless she was meditating, which was what she had come here to do until she saw this new figure. She stretched her haunches and blinked slightly, her expression unreadable. It seems almost as if you're annoyed with the antics of the other inhabitants on this land... she said cooly, her eyes beginning to glow pink as she read his emotions and mindstate. It was hard to get information off of another Psychic Faltor, but seeing that she was the leader, she had exceptional skill and managed to do so, if not slightly.
Her head bowed in acknowledgement, finally. I am Myu, the Psychic Clan leader. You are new here. She left the last bit hanging, waiting for a name from this new, mysterious Faltor.

Pressing his shoulders as far forward as he could, Sayaka straightened his front legs and stretched out so that he could gracefully slide from this position into a standing one in a single fluid motion. Sayaka held his head high, even though he wasn't sure about who was who here, however he presented himself extremely well no matter who this was. He found it amusing, that before saying anything else about who this Faltor was, she found it necessary to bad-mouth Sayaka and his energy. While he was grinning slightly on the inside he did not show it to Myu, though he was planning in his mind what he could say or do to make this conversation slightly more... interesting. In any case, Sayaka stood tall, taller than he actually was - a trick used by many animals to make themseves seen more powerful and intimidating than they were to create the feeling that they were more in control and stronger than their opponents.
Tilting his head slightly to the right while looking at Myu, he replied also completely in telepathy. "Sayaka", he raised his head slightly to show a bit of his throat to Myu after she introduced herself. This was the common form of greeting for a wolf to his superior, and the same was true for this. It was a non-verbal way of showing that Sayaka respected Myu as his clan leader, even if he did not exactly want to. Resetting his jaw level, he tried to size her up. Honestly, he found her way of speaking to him rude and uncalled for. He wouldn't just walk up to someone tell them they were "foul", not that he was much for small talk anyway. But he couldn't think it was nothing but rude to insult someone before meeting them or even introducing yourself.
"Excuse me, I must not have known this was your spot. But I don't take kindly to people insulting me, whether they're in charge of a clan or not." He said again, entirely through telepathy. Frankly, he didn't care whether Myu was the strongest Faltor he'd ever been approached by, Sayaka would not be insulted by them. He had an incredible amount of pride, and if he wasn't apologized to soon he'd be forced to seek solice through another means. But for now, he would make sure Myu knew that even though he was not the one "in charge" traditionally through the standard hierarchy set up by Faltors. He refused to take another insult, else he would have to correct this rude clan leader.

Myu only smirked wryly, flicking her ears in slight annoyance. I wasn't saying this observation as an insult, she stated blandly, flicking her tail with the red jewel slightly, barely blinking. However, seeing your intent, you believe it is rude enough for me to need to apologize for it. She discreetly cracked her neck, not intimidated by the Faltor, but most definately intrigued. New Psychic Faltors were hard to come by, and one with this colorful a character rarer still. She began to walk circles around the prideful one and smiled.
I will say it, for your own good, maybe for mine as well. I apologize. She bowed her head in extravagance, showing the Faltor she meant what she said, no matter how little emotion was shown on her face. However, I believe you need to possibly control your emotions more. This could get you into trouble later on... she trailed off, padding towards Sayaka. Maybe you should be called Sayaka, the Prideful One. Or...is this another insult to you? She smirked slightly, meaning it in jest. Our energies are emitted from the way we are feeling at the moment. As we emit them, one can tell if the energy is positive or negative by the way it smells and looks. Black and blue energy is normally distaste or annoyance with stimuli around you. It is foul smelling. Your energy showed distaste for others, therefore, it was foul, she stated, beginning to like the Faltor. Character and pride doesn't help anyone...but it doesn't hurt to have, either.

Sayaka was growing bored with Myu, and his impatience was probably not all too difficult to figure out just from the Faltor's way of holding his posture, stiff and rigid especially in the back. His tail stuck straight out in an assertive position, possibly bordering on aggressive. The apology wasn't what he was expecting, nor what he necessarily wanted. It seemed as if Myu was patronizing him, something he was ready to walk away from the clan leader for. However, he supposed that it would not look good of a Psychic Faltor to simply stand and walk away from the leader of their clan because he was unhappy. For the most part, Sayaka was not a cheery sort of Faltor, that was obvious to anyone who knew him. He was by himself for the greater part of his life, a figurative hermit of the mountain. It was only recently that he decided to move to a more populated area filled with other Faltors recently, when he decided that something needed to be done to stop the hellish outbreaks causing feuds between other clans. Frankly, he wasn't sure what he was going to do - but it was more of a step-at-a-time project anyway.
That lead him to Glowing Rock, a beautiful monument to the psychic breed and made him feel much more at ease. That was, until he was disturbed. "My emotions are fine. You should worry more about yourself, I would think." It wasn't meant as a threat, but it certainly wasn't warm and fuzzy advice given from your helpful neighbor who lets you borrow their lawnmower or a cup of sugar - it was also not your grandmother's advice that while guilting you to call her more often was accompanied with fresh and warm chocolate chip cookies that really were delicious and baked with love, served with a cold tall glass of milk. In any case, Myu's words did not comfort nor inform Sayaka in any way.
"You may call me whatever you like, Clan Leader Myu. I am at your service, and I apologize should I have caused you any problem with my attitude or energy." Raising his head again slightly, he squatted his rear haunches, sitting down on the ledge he was previously laying down on. He very briefly wondered what kind of people the other Psychic Clan members were like if Myu seemed so amused by his lowly and constantly aggravated-seeming self. It must be a slow-moving sort of place with very boring people if that was the case; which wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Slow and boring was good when it came to not causing problems, as staying out of things like civil wars was normally more Sayaka's speed.
