Hello all,
just wondering, what kind of tinted film do you use for your Citroens? I'm thinking of getting my ZX tinted because of the black interior...it absorbs and radiates heat if I left the car under the sun for a while. Obviously, the reflective type would be recommendable to cool down the interior. Still, I don't want the type that'll attract the authorities' attention...so, any ideas? Cheers! |

V-Kool is da best. (RM1600 - RM1800 for ZX) for all around, including front windshield
Huper Optik is next best. About RM1300 - RM1500. |

ZX using cheap SunScreen. Greenish color to match the exterior. Other car going for VKool this week from and something else for sides and rear which is slightly darker than VKool.
I look for high IR heat rejection. VKool is about %94 heat rejection. The ones gonna fit around sides and rear are %78 heat rejection which isn't too bad. Another good stuff to look at is Huper Optik. You get very close to VKool performance at less price. But still around $1200. Don't worry about authorities. When they start looking for naughty drivers, they'll nab the ones with goldish tints first. |

Hmmm...that's a good advice; to avoid goldish tints preferably....I knew it's good for interior heat reduction...but it'll definitely attract unwanted attention.
I've checked out this greenish-tint film, US-Cool. Looks OK (not too shiny) and within my budget. I'll probably hang out more often at the accessories shop to have a look at the actual installed tint. I'll update when everything's finalised. Cheers. |

Guys,
Best do your tinting at tint specialists. Those air-conditioned shops that does only and only tinting. They work on your car in a clean and cool environment. Doing tinting all day long, they get more skillful. |

just got mine Air-Cool. RM450 including windshield. looks ok on my 4 door silver ZX. Shop is around uptown DU (few shops away from TM). go now as there are promotions on the films.
just a question..most of the tint shops will say the films are from US. Is it for real? |

The tech is from The U.S but the finishing, god knows!! Anyway, as long as you get 5-year anti-peel warranty, that should be enough..
