hi there ...
at times ... places like Brothers, Cosplus may not have the cheapest item. And even if they are cheap, those have not included installation charge. My fren saw a pioneer single disc player at Rm555 and he thought that was the cheapest at Cosplus. Plus another Rm60 for installtion. Total Rm615. However after fixing ... we saw a normal small accessories shop at Atria with the same model ... after bargaining Rm510 plus installation. Sheeeeeessshhh ... that's a big difference. And those who wish to instal ICE on their citroen ... the accessories shop beside Ah Keong at Tmn Mayang is capable for this task. And he could custom make a ZX (pu leather) armrest as he has done many for Ah Keong's citroen customers. Cheers.... CR |

I'm agreed with you about Brothers, Cosplus .. I think ML audio Accessory at Puchung give better quality finishing job. but don't be surprise of the labour charge and wiring kit price coz of they tend to double the price if you buy it from jalan pasar and DIY on your car.
I'm car audio maniac, I installed all audio/video component from main unit, amplifier, active crossover, speaker, power/ground wiring, speaker cable and as well as underfloor neon light. I like DIY on those thing on my car and I save few RM on instalation and trobleshooting. One thing that you must remember, car accessory only need your money!!! They normally ignore their quality of work and will try to convince you on buying unnecesary component in order to get as much money from you !!. Believe me or not? If you want to DIY for you system, you can learn from this site Basics Car Audio Electronics I learned a lot from this site. If you want you can list down what type of player you want, and maybe I can suggest you on the costing if you want to? If you are from KL, perhaps if you interested I can guide you on DIY your system. I love DIYing car audio as part of my hobby which is happened to run in parallel with my work as educator specializing in electrical and electronics. "Towards Knowledge Technology" Regards Ken |

No problem Kleb...
May be can set one day to shown you how to install the system in you car. Anyway, I'm a Cosplus Exclusive Member. Can get discount on non-offer items (5-10% only). Bought MP3 player last year for RM50 lesser than other accessory shop around Gombak, Ampang,Pandah Indah, Pasar Road and Bdr Tasik Selatan (Few to mention). B4 you decide to buy , do some window shopping around your area and get the best price on the item and the labor charge. Regards Ken |

Dudes,
Instead of neon lamps, you can consider CCFL (cold cathode fluorescent lamp) too. Neons are glass tubes so its fragile. CCFLs are made of acrylic so not fragile plus they're much brighter than neons. A friend fitted blue ones under his car, and they blink in tempo with his music. |

You also want to fit lights under your car, CR? I saw a Kancil with round light tubes inside the rims. On all 4 wheels!
I would fit a CCFL too, but only under the hood and can be switched on/off. Can DIY on the engine without holding torchlight! And has to be white! |

now testing a blue light used for my furniture cabinet... very sharp bright blue. If it's workable ..then it's cheaper. A tube cost about Rm20 only... and it's made of acrylic.
Wish me luck ! |
