Hello....anyone Out There?

Although two years have passed, I still miss this site and haven't found anything as close as this. This site was amazing, and yeah we had our slow times, we were starting to grow. I loved the people and characters on here no one was afraid to RP with everyone. I guess thats still something I haven't found. This site opened me with open arms and as time progressed I moved up in the ranks.

I want to know what everyone has been up to. Do you all still RP and if so where? Does anyone else miss this site as much as I do?

I miss you all and hope that some of you come back and respond.

Wow. Been a while since I've been on here. I guess I've kinda been all over the place on a bunch of different boards, but I actually haven't been doing any rping lately. Gosh, I don't think I ever actually realized that this was the site that got me hooked on this in the first place. I hope more people come back. It would be great to get the site alive again.

Good to hear from you. Checkmate's was my first and of the only HP Rps I was on. I have always been on Star Wars forums though and I am still active on them.
If you are all willing and ready to get this forum back into shapes and active again, I'll be willing to help out. I can send out feelers and maybe reqruit new members.

Hey, guys! Man, I miss this place! I do not RP anywhere else, and I never have, because I know that no place will measure up to this. I kid you not, RPing is the reason I can type so fast. I took a typing class last year and my GWAM is about 77, and it's all do to RPing.

And to answer your question, Cal, I tore the ligaments in my knee two weeks ago playing volleyball. I had my MRI yesterday, and I find out Monday if I need surgery or not. But when I was talking to my orthopedic Wednesday, he didn't sound too hopeful about me not having to have it... Oh well, I'll just have to wait and see.

Wow Mel, that sounds really painful. I hope everything goes well.

Hey guys I have really missed this place, this was the first place I rp'd on and haven't done in quite a while. I find that a lot of places have a lot of restrictions on posting, you know like lengths and things and it takes a lot of fun out of the experience. I would be more than happy to get this place up and running again

According to my MRI, my ligaments aren't torn, just pulled. So I just have to wear a brace and hobble around on crutches for awhile. And I have a check up next month to make sure that everything's healing right.
But yeah, I miss this place...

I would love to restart this place and get it up and running again. Problem is no one has access to the Admin CP

Ok I've talked to Sean and he thinks starting the site again would be awesome, but like I said we don't have to access to the Admin CP so we are going to have to move and make a fresh start.

Welcome back Luw, sorry for the confusion. Ok well Mel has said that Pete has been talking about CAM recently so if he decides to come back we will have access to the Admin CP. For now we are using the other site as a just in case and a spot for brainstorming.

Please everyone come, if this is going to work we are going to need everyone!!!

Okay, so it appears that I am not an admin but a moderator. However, as many of you know, it's my little brother who "inherited" CaM a few years back and helped it to grow. Although he is no longer active on CaM, "Matthew Doe" does still hold an administrative position on the boards, and I can probably get to him on one of my weekends home from school so that we can work something out. I think that a good way to improve the site when we get things up and running again would be to put everyone on a mailing list so that we don't forget to pop in and keep up on things when we hit a busy week. That much said, I MISS YOU GUYS SO MUCH! I can't wait to catch up!
