Hi!

Next Sunday March 11th, the Atlanta Rollergirls will be playing the Carolina Rollergirls Tai-chi Tahs at Dorton arena in Raleigh NC.

So I thought this would be a great opportunity for some members of your league to come and meet with representatives of the Carolina Rollergirls and the Atlanta Rollergirls- especially if you are thinking of applying for WFTDA membership. This could be a chance to get to know CRG and ARG better, which will help us write those letters of recommendation don't ya know. Also, since we are all within a few hours drive of each other it would be great to start working together so that we can all start playing each other.

So, a tentative agenda is below- at the bottom of the email.

What I need to know from you is the following:
1) Will anyone from your league be able to visit? If so please RSVP with names, contact information (email address and phone numbers) and tentative arrival and departure times.
2) Will you be able to attend the Saturday 8 am-10 am practice? If not, what about a Sunday noon-2 pm practice? How many skaters would be attending? Are they already scrimmaging? Particular areas of interest?
3) Will you be able to attend the Saturday lunch & discussion? If so what are the areas of interest to your league? This interest information will help us get packets of information available for you in advance.
4) How many visitors will need tickets to the game on Sunday?
5) Will anyone need rollerhousing? I can't make promise, but I might be able to hook you up.

Tentative agenda:
Saturday March 10th
8 am-10 am
CRG private practice time at the Skate Ranch of Raleigh.
I will be leading some skills and drills for interested visitors- if there is enough interest to merit a private rink rental, I may change the time to later in the day.
All skaters present must sign a waiver before skating, and show USARS card prior to doing any contact drills.

10 am -noon
Open skate time at Skate Ranch for any interested

noon - 4 pm
Lunch at Kama Suture's house (5 minutes from Skate Ranch). Come eat, and ask questions from CRG and ARG representatives. We get to know you, you get to know us. Depending on the number of leagues present, this may be a panel discussion. Let me know if there are any special areas of interest for discussion (i.e. rules, ref training, marketting, bout production, etc.)

7 pm - ?
Meet and Greet at Woody's at City market. This meet & greet is for all CRG skaters, and ARG skaters, so you will have a chance to mingle and talk with more skaters.

Sunday March 10th
8am - noon
Setup at Dorton arena - if interested you can come watch, ask questions of me about bout production, etc.

At Dorton arena -Time for skaters to run through production practice, rules meeting with captains, & refs, etc.

I rsvpd to Kama but I haven't heard back about a noon practice. If they don't have a practice on sunday then I probably won't go.
