[Max Mendes]

Max slammed the brakes and restlessly glanced at his cellphone again. In the 10 minute drive from campus he had cursed himself over a hundred times. He had caled Sabrina, his only allie at such times. Max turned off the engine and walked out of the car. Usually he waited for his friend outside and preferred entering the club with her but today he was not that patient.

After pacing the entrance area twice, he pushe dthe glass door aside and walked right to the bar. The place was more than crowded. Max signalled the bar tender who got him a glass and a whole bottle. He knew the boy who was a kid from school. After emtying the whole glass he looked at the entrance again, impatiently.

Sabrina drove to the club as fast as she could. She had gotten a call from Max and he told her to meet him there. She could immediately tell something was wrong but he didn't tell her what. He just told her to meet him there. So now after having to get out of her pajamas she was just driving up to the club. She parked and got out of her car, locking her doors and taking the keys.

She walked toward the club looking around. Normally he waited outside for her but today he wasn't. She walked inside and looked around, not seeing him. She began walking around until she finally spotted him. At the bar with a glass and a whole bottle.
"Max? What's going on?!" She asked sitting down next to him.

Max had been debating the thought of whether to share what had happened in the game with Brina or not. As soon as he saw her, any form of resentment vanished and he welcome her by offering her his glass. "You will need some to be strong enough to hear all this"

He saw his anxious look and began his story. He described her how the 5 people had been brought to the beach abd how each of them were given outrageous dares. "You know Scarlett. She parties with me sometime", he knew he dint need to give her details. Everyone knew Scareltt who was a cheerleader. "Well she has to marry this Eril guy for a week. I dont even think he has a good name", Max spoke with a bit of worry in his voice.

She looked at him very worried and then took the glass, only taking a sip then handing it back to him. She wasn't big on drinking but only knew he'd offer her anything if what he was about to say was really that big.

She listened to what he was saying, getting more and more worried with each second. She nodded when he asked if she knew Scarlett, which was pretty much a rhetorical question because she's a cheerleader and everyone knows her.
"Have you ever talked to Eril?" She asked, feeling weird when she heard him saw what Scarlett and Eril had to do. "He's seems like a pretty nice guy." Small understatement to her. She shook away any thoughts about Eril and looked at Max. "What did you have to do?"

Max just shrugged when she spoke of Eril, "Not really...". He had never spoken to Eril even otherwise, "But I know that Scarlett doesnt like him at all and well I just hope that things go okay". Then she skipped to the question he dreaded the most. It reminded him of what had happened a bit ago and how he had just let Aspen go to the dorm all alone. He should have insisted and seen her safely to the dorm.

"I had to make out with Aspen in the Principal's office", he said hurriedly. Maybe if he hurried a bit and got to the dorm, he would catch her before she dozed off. But did he want that?

She felt her eyes widen a little and her jaw almost dropped. She fixed herself so that her face seemed more calm, even though it probably didn't. She was never good at acting. "Seriously?" I asked looking at him and then away. "How did she react?" That was probably the more important question besides 'seriously'. "Where is she now? You two actually did do it? Anything else happen?" Now the questions began pouring out. After a few seconds Sabrina realized she probably should stop asking questions and wait for a few answers. She also realized that these were questions she had asked a few times before.

After pausing for a bit, Max drowned another glass and threw a few bills to the bar tender for more. "Yes.. well it happens so that we couldn't wait!", he said with a smirk. He remembered how he had suggested that they take it slow but all he wanted to do was take her and kiss her. Thinking about it now, ht was only after the game that he had developed such feelings for her. Before that, it was a friendly respectable relationship.

"But it was great. For a minute I actually thought that....", he paused as he realized what he was going to say. Love! Now, where did that come from? "It could happen again", it had to be lust, he decided.

She listened to him and nodded a little. She wasn't too surprised it had gone farther then the dare. She didn't know Aspen very well, but she did know Max well enough to know with him it normally went farther then kissing.
She raised an eyebrow at him when he didn't finish his second sentence. It didn't sound like what he finished it with was what he was really going to say. "Do you actually have feelings for her?" She asked curiously and a little surprised as well.

"I really dont know", Max replied honestly and a bit helpless. All he knew was that he was really worried for her now. It bothered him to a great extent tha she dint want to talk to him. She had been so eager to run to the dorm and hide under the sheets,"I dont think she wants to even see me again". That was the reason he was here in the first place, drinking.

"I just want everything to be okay, you know?", he turned to her with troubled eyes. He should get back to the dorm and see if she was okay. He withdrew his cell and played with it till he realized that he dint even have her no.

She sighed. "Why don't you just go back and check on her? It's obvious that's what you want to do, so just go. And I'm sure she will want to talk to you again. Maybe, she's confused and wanted space to think things out." She paused and tried to think if there was anything else she wanted to say. She looked over at him and saw all the worry and concern in his eyes.

Sabrina then reached over and took the drink out of his hand. "So, you need to go now, see if she is all right. I'll finish this one for you." She said holding up the drink and then sipping it. She most likely wouldn't finish it, but that wasn't the point. Sabrina could tell that he had some kind of feelings for Aspen. It was pretty obvious by the way he was acting. She had never seen him act like this before, it was strange but interesting as well.

Sabrina looked at him waiting to see if he was actually going to listen to her. Before he could say something though she decided to add one more thing. "I think you might actually have feelings for her." She said with a small smile.

"You think?", Max finally broke from the disturbing thoughts he had been having. He was barely aware oh Sabrina taking his glass and asking him to go. Now he had snapped back in reality mode and all he wanted to do was run to his dorm. He looked at Sabrina and finally smiled, "Okay, Im gonna go now!".

He repeated the line five times, then he planted a kiss on her cheek and thanked her again, "Thanks Brina, you are the best!". Max hurriedly waved her a salute and turned towards the exit. He knew that he was smailing all the way!

She laughed a little as she watched him leave and then smiled. She looked down at the glass for a few seconds then finished what was left in it. She ordered herself a bottle of water then got up off of her seat and walked outside, then headed toward her car taking her keys out of her pocket. She was now planning to go back to her dorm room and relax, like she had been planning to.
