[Pocahontas and Shang]

Dressed in beige pants and a dark blue tee under a blue and white button-up shirt, Shang stepped out of the room he shared with Hercules. Glancing down the hall, he spotted Pocahontas. "Sorry about the wait," he said as he reached her. "I almost didn't hear you knock." He noticed her attire and felt he may have dressed a bit too casual. "You.. look great."

Pocahontas turned around as Hercules came out and left with Meg. Then Shang arrived and she smiled, but then she saw how he was dressed making her feel out of place.

"Thanks and you look great too." said Pocahontas.

"Great. Now I feel overdressed. I knew I should have just been casual. thought Pocahontas.

"So you ready to go?" asked Pocahontas.

"Yep," Shang replied. "Did you want to head to the museum or eat dinner first?"

"Maybe the museum first. They do tend to close earlier than the restaraunts." said Pocahontas.

As they headed downstairs and out of the dorms chatting, she turned back to Shang.

"Should we just head into the first museum we find? I didn't think to check out the museums in town." said Pocahontas.

Shang thought for a moment. "There's a museum nearby that opened up recently that I've heard good things about. Want to try there?"

"Sure. Let's go." said Pocahontas.

She started walking before realizing she had no idea where it was.

"Maybe you should lead the way." said Pocahontas.

Shang chuckled before taking the lead. Luckily, it only took about fifteen minutes for them to reach the museum. After paying for their admission tickets, he grabbed one of the maps and looked at it, trying to get an idea of the layout. "So there's an art section and a history section; there's also a temporary Civil War exhibit upstairs." He glanced up at Pocahontas. "Where do you want to start?" The Civil War exhibit sounded the best to him, but he figured he'd let her decide.

"Civil war exhibit sounds good. I wonder if they have a revolutionary war one. Ever since I dressed up as Martha Washington last Halloween I've wanted to learn more about that time period." said Pocahontas.

Nearby a little boy pulled out a soda bottle from her pocket, and began shaking it bored. Her mother saw it trying to stop him.

"Bobby give me that bottle!" said the mother.

She tried to grab it as the top came loose spraying both of them and creating a big mess. A security guard rushed over to help and slipped as well, landing next to them.

Pocahontas turned to see the commotion as she slipped right into the puddle as well falling right towards Shang.

"I heard they're having a Revolutionary..." Shang paused, hearing the commotion. When Pocahontas slipped, he managed to catch her and helped her stand up again. "You okay?"

The trio soon got to their feet as the janitor soon arrived to clean up the mess.

"Oh my dress. I told you to leave that in the car. Well we're going home now." said the mother.

"But you said we could look at the cool exhibits." said Bobby.

"That was before you caused a mess and ruined our clothes." said the mother.

The mother and son walk out as the janitor cleans up the mess.

Pocahontas turns to Shang, and nods.

"I'm fine. At least no one was hurt. So where's the civil war exhibit at?" said Pocahontas.

After taking a quick glance at the map, Shang replied, "Up the stairs and to the left, it seems." As they headed towards the exhibit, he commented, "As I was saying eariler, I heard they're having an exhibit on the Revolutionary War after this one closes. So that should be interesting." Upon arriving at the exhibit, Shang glanced around, not sure where to start. "Should we go clockwise around the room or counter-clockwise?"

"Clockwise seems good." said Pocahontas.

She saw one of the first exhibits were civil war uniforms.

"That costume you wore last Halloween really looks like the real things. I just wish this war didn't have to happen. I wish we could have settled our problems outside of a war." said Pocahontas.

"Yeah. Especially with this war being one of the bloodiest." Shang quietly sighed. "Although, it may have taken longer to free the slaves if it hadn't happened."

Woody led Rapunzel a little ways to where his truck was parked. "Here we are its not the most glamorous way to ride, It's seen a few trips around the ranch but it'll get us there."

He opened the car door for her so she could hop in.

[Pocahontas and Shang]

Pocahontas nodded.

"Your'e right. At least something good came out of that war." said Pocahontas.

She paused seeing several different types of flags next.

"Wow. That's a lot of flags." said Pocahontas.

Shang nodded. "Indeed. It's interesting how many different designs there were." Shang and Pocahontas gradually moved through the whole exhibit, chatting about various points of the Civil War. After they'd finished, they headed back downstairs to check out the museum's permanent history section and then the art section (though Shang wasn't completely sure why they'd decided to visit the art section).

A voice on the overhead announced that the museum was closing in ten minutes. "Well darn." Shang glanced around before turning to Pocahontas with a faint smile. "You wouldn't happen to remember the way out of here, would you?"

After arriving in the art section she also heard the announcement. When Shang asked her if he remembered the way out, she shook her head. She spotted a guard.

"I wasn't really paying attention. Maybe he knows." said Pocahontas.

She walked over to the man.

"Do you know the way out of here?" asked Pocahontas.

"Oh yes. You go down that way and make a left." said the guard.

Pocahontas walked out the door and looked to the left to see more exhibits. She walked back to the guard.

"That's not the exit." said Pocahontas.

"You said you wanted to get out of here not the exit." said the guard.

The guard walks to the door as Pocahontas follows him. He looked left and right.

"It's that way." he said pointing right.

"Thank you." said Pocahontas.

"Or is that way?" asked the guard, pointing left.

"You work here. Don't you know?" asked Pocahontas.

"Oh I don't work here. I just love coming here after my shift at the bank. I love coming into other places dressed as a guard." said the man.

Pocahontas frowned resiting the urge to slap him as she walked out the door.

"He was a big help." muttered Pocahontas.

"The museum will close in seven minutes." said a voice over the intercom.

Pocahontas turned to Shang.

"Well I guess we'll just to find the way out ourselves. They'll send someone out to make sure everyone's left the museum. Right?" said Pocahontas.

"Yeah, though I'd rather have us find the way out ourselves than have the guards escort us out."

After a couple minutes of wandering with no apparent progress, Shang stopped in one of the hallways as the overhead speakers announced five minutes 'til closing time. "Okay, we're clearly going about this the wrong way." He took a quick look at the map before putting it back in his pocket. "It's too bad they didn't label the different rooms on the map." Indicating some of the rooms surrounding them, he stated, "I'm pretty sure we've been through those two rooms recently, so we should probably try through here. What do you think?"

"Sounds good to me. And I agree that we should try to find a way out by ourselves. I just hope we can." said Pocahontas, glancing back at the map again, before walking into the next room.

One minute before closing, Shang and Pocahontas finally found the exit. As they left the building, Shang slightly shook his head at how lost they'd gotten. "So, that was certainly fun," he commented with a wry smile. After sighing, he asked, "Did you have any ideas for where to eat?"

"La Bella Notte sounds good. I love Italian food and...."

She paused seeing the bank guard from before leaning against the building, smoking.

"How'd you get out before us?" asked Pocahontas.

"I followed a family on their way out. They knew where they were going." said the bank guard.

Pocahontas, annoyed just turned and walked away heading for La Bella Notte.

Shang cast a short glance at the guard before catching up with Pocahontas. "La Bella Notte is quite a ways from here, isn't it? Do you think we should get a cab?"

"I don't see a payphone anywhere to call one? Do you see a payphone or a cab nearby?" asked Pocahontas.

A few feet away a cab pulls up as a few visitors piled in, including the guard. Pocahontas turned around to see the cab drive away and sighed.

"This is just turning out to be a really "fun" day." thought Pocahontas.

"Did you lose your cellphone?" Shang asked as he pulled out his own. Without waiting for answer, he called the number that had been on the side of the cab. After a couple minutes, he hung up. "We should have a cab pretty soon."

"I forgot about mine." said Pocahontas sheepishly.

When she took it out she saw the battery was dead. Luckily Shang called for a cab. As she put her phone back in her purse, they waited. Soon a cab pulled up as they climbed in.

A few minutes later they were outside La Bella Notte restaraunt. They walked inside as a waiter ushered them to a table. Pocahontas was really nervous. She had thought about telling him about her feelings sooner but always chickened out. She knew he remembered her "truth" from the christmas party but he might have forgotten that.

"Shang I wanted to...

"Well look who it is." said a voice.

Pocahontas glanced up to see the guard from before with a blonde woman.

"Small world huh. Nice to see you again." said the guard.

He walked off the the woman to another table.

"Shang I...

"OOh a jukebox." said a kid.

He put in a quater and pressed some buttons. "When A MAn Loves A Woman" began playing as Pocahontas felt like burying herself in the ground.

"Aw this is girl song." said the boy.

He put in another quarter changing it to Lady Gaga's Bad Romance.

"Why is this happening to me?" thought Pocahontas.

Shang mentally cringed as it seemed everything was trying to keep Pocahontas from speaking. He wondered what she was trying to say, even had some suspicions. When the overrated pop song ended (and he could finally hear her again), he asked her, "So... what were you going to say?"

"Shang I.... I have feel.... i......"

Before she could reply another kid came up the jukebox.

"What's this one?" asked the kid.

He put a quarter in as it started playing "Whataya Want from Me" by Adam Lambert.

"I really really like you." blurted out Pocahontas.

Her eyes widen as she finally realized she'd admitted it before looking down at the floor, not wanting to see his reaction at the moment.

Shang blinked once, twice, three times before being able to process her words. So the truth was out; she did still like him. He wasn't quite sure why he was surprised. Some part of the back of his brain had been half-expecting the conversation to come up. He slightly shook his head, trying to get his thoughts straightened out.

He was interested in her as well. She was really nice and funny and pretty... and they were both into history. He just was never sure how to bring it up after the Christmas party last semester, especially since she tended to avoid being alone with him.

Silently sighing, he realized she was waiting for him to say something. "Well..." He paused. "I.. like you too."

Pocahontas looked up as she heard his answer and she could tell his was sincere.

"Y-you do? I've been feeling this way for months even before the christmas party. But I was too nervous to say anything." said Pocahontas, feeling relieved it was out in the open.

Before Shang could reply to her, the waiter came by asking for their orders. Pocahontas got a coke and a plate of spaghetti.

Shang ordered a plate of spaghetti as well with a Root Beer. Once the waiter had left to put their order in, Shang said, "You know, I'd meant to bring what happened at the party up, but didn't want to do so in front of the others. And you kinda avoided being alone with me after that."

"Sorry. I guess I was just too nervous to bring it up and found excuses to not be alone. But with the auction, I decided to take a chance and now I'm glad I did." said Pocahontas.

Shang chuckled. "Well, I hope the date's been worth the money you spent at the auction."

[Pocahontas and Shang]

The waiter came with breadsticks and their drinks as they waited for food. Pocahontas grabbed a breadstick, and ate one a little hungry.

"It has. I had a lot of fun today even getitng lost in a museum which I didn't think as possible." said Pocahontas, chuckling.

She took a few sips from her drink.

"Hey this is Dr. Pepper. I ordered a Coke." said Pocahontas.

The same waiter passed by, overheard her taking the drink.

"Oh sorry miss. I gave you the wrong drink." said the waiter.

He returns with the right one as Pocahontas turned back to Shang again.

"So you mentioned the last time we talked that your family moved to Texas. How's that working out?" said Pocahontas.

[Woody & Rapunzel]

"Thanks," Rapunzel replied with a bit of blush in her cheeks when Woody held open the door for her. Not being able to help herself, she wobbled a little in her heels again. "Sorry," she apologized. "I don't really wear heels too often."


"Whoa there" Woody said as he caught Rapunzel's elbow to steady her and helped her into the truck. "In ya go." He closed her door and went around to his side to get in.

Rapunzel got into the truck, and buckled her seat belt. "So where exactly are we going?" she asked Woody as he got in.

[Pocahontas and Shang]

Shang swallowed his bite of one of the bread sticks before answering. "Pretty good. My mother really prefers the warmer climate. My siblings insist there's not enough snow though."

"Well I came from Virginia so the weather hasn't affected me that much. But I do like the spring season the best. It's just the right temperature and when all the trees and flowers come out to bloom. I'm glad I don't have many allergies either or it wouldn't be as fun." said Pocahontas.

"Where in Virgina are you from?" Shang asked. "I don't recall you ever saying."

"Richmond. Going back last christmas made me realize how much i miss it. I'm glad I'm here, getting my degree and meeting you... and everyone else. I guess you never realize how much you'd miss your home until you leave it. I'm going to try to go back next month for my sister's birthday in March." said Pocahontas.

"Well, I wish you success with that," Shang commented before taking a sip of his drink.
