against the light of the moon
tilting our heads, we close our eyes
and dance, in a world, of me and you

Personality:
When you first meet Roxanne you really have no idea who she is or how she acts. She is very reserved and likes to stay back and observe before entering into any action going on around her. It takes her months to really become comfortable enough around someone to show her true colors. It may even take longer if the person doesn’t meet Roxanne’s standards of being a good friend. She’s grown up with a million cousins, so before she went to school, friends were never really a necessity. After her first year she learned that they were important, because she was teased graciously about having no friends. She discussed these problems with her mother and then came up with a list of qualities her friends would need to have. These qualities are of course outrageous so Roxanne makes exceptions quite often. Her best friend happens to be her drawing pad and pencil where she gets rid of all her negative feelings and inappropriate thoughts.

Drawing is Roxanne’s one and only out let. She began drawing when she was around five. That Christmas she had been given a nice drawing set from her parents. At the time they were just trying to find something for her to do other than fight with her younger brother. They had no idea that she would be so talented. Her first drawing was of her pet owl, it was amazing, but she lost it that day. After that Roxanne became very careful about her drawings, always keeping them close to her for fear of others seeing them.

Roxanne is a very self sufficient person. She depends on herself over all others. The only other people she will give any chances to are her cousins. These are her confidants, along with her drawing pads. She has a fear of saying too much to people, so is seen to be very quiet when at school. During the summer, or any holidays Roxanne can be found chatting non stop with her family members. When around others she just gets too nervous and ends up standing on the outside of the circle twirling her hair. Roxanne would prefer to avoid these situations, which is why she got so involved with her studies.

She has always loved to read, but once she entered school and found herself as socially awkward, she dove into her school work. Roxanne seeks the attention of her teachers, because her peers tend to ignore her. She constantly studies to get the top scores in her classes, although she does love to learn as well. The only subject that comes naturally to Roxanne is transfiguration. This is the only class that she forces herself not to study for. When she does, her skills tend to go farther then where the class is and she ends up looking like a brown noser, which she does not like.

of ever leaving this temporary life

Parents: George and Angelina Weasley
Siblings: Frederick-Sixteen[Gryffindor]
Other Family: all of the Weasleys- too many to list
Hometown: England-live in an apartment over the joke shop
History:
Roxanne was born the first child to George and Angelina Weasley. She was spoiled for years by her parents. They spent most of their time running the joke shop, so she grew up inside there. Diagon Alley was the best place for a young girl to play with her cousins and find many things to do. She spent most of her young life finding hiding places in shops and helping her parents run the joke shop. It was all perfect until Frederick started getting more attention. From then on Roxanne started to become more reserved. Her parents let her go on her own, thinking that she enjoyed it. Being a Weasley it was impossible to really be alone, so they never worried.

As the years passed, Roxanne was still loved wholly by her parents, and got the attention she needed, but she withdrew from most of her big family. There were only a few cousins that she really talked to and let into her mind. Mostly, the young girl spent her time drawing her family members or landscapes from around Diagon Alley where she spent most of her time as a child. When she finally grew old enough to go to school she was sure her house would be Gryffindor. It had been both her parent’s houses and most of her aunts and uncles. Roxanne’s heart had broken when the sorting hat had yelled Ravenclaw from its mouth. She had stumbled to the table of roaring students and fell into her new life.

The house had been the best for her in the end. After her first year of school, Roxanne began to really understand how the sorting hat knew her before she even knew herself. She spent many hours studying and reading. They were her favorite things other than drawing. Roxanne never really fit in with her peers, always having deep conversation with her professors instead of spending free periods messing around in the common room. Of course, Ravenclaw was full of children who enjoyed learning, not many fit the personality of this Weasley child. She found a few friends after a year at Hogwarts and began to enjoy the social life of school, although still putting the academics first.

Roxanne has grown since her first years at school. She now has friends, along with her enemies. She still has problems opening up to people, but now is better at goofing off when she knows all of her assignments are finished. She still enjoys drawing, and likes to show off her work even more than she likes to impress her teachers. Many people don’t understand the young woman, but it doesn’t bother the girl, she loves the people who give her the chance, and usually ignores the people who won’t.

QUOTE
Sadie's eyes felt Elliot's on hers and she met his gaze. She could see how her answer had touched him. She wasn't sure how, but it had made him think more than she had figured it would. He seemed to be at a loss of what to say, so Sadie let her gaze fall from his and looked out to the camp. No matter how many times she looked at it, she couldn't get over the beauty. Blue Ridge had an amazing plot of land, right near firebird lake, and on the edge of this very mountain. It was an amazing place to let kids wander.

Her ears perked up as words left Elliot's mouth. He mentioned her resembling her mother, and Sadie looked at him. It seemed all of the people around her realized this fact. She knew it was true, but hated thinking how much pain it must cause her father. He didn't deserve that much pain. The only thing keeping her from turning on him was the fact that he dished out that same pain onto her by treating her the way he did. Sadie always thought when someone was lost, the family should grow closer, she never realized how untrue this fact was. Many families lost each other once they lost one part.

She decided not to add anything after Elliot's comment and waited for him to answer her question. Once he started talking, her heart began pumping faster. She hadn't realized this question would be so hard. Most people related the same with their family, fights with siblings and parents, but in the end they loved each other. Almost all of the people Sadie talked to had the same stories about their family, no where near the drama she had.

Sadie felt her heart hurt as Elliot mentioned the death of his mother. She hated that he had to feel the same pain she felt. It was harder than most people would want to admit. The connection she had felt to this young man earlier finally made sense to her. They were so similar to each other, but different in just the right amount of ways. As soon as Elliot finished, Sadie could tell they were going to be friends, probably for a long while.

The girl observed Elliot for a minute, just letting his words settle in the air. She wanted to make sure he was okay, before she continued with her words. Of course, Sadie wasn't really sure what to say, but she knew she had to say something. "That was brave of you." Sadie said acknowledging the fact that Elliot had followed through with his promise. "I don't know if I could have done that. Of course, I came back after my mom's death, but it was mostly to get away from all the drama at home." She added this hastily. Sadie realized she was giving more information that was actually necessary and smiled awkwardly. This game was getting to her, making her tell the truth even when she wasn't asked a question.

After she finished adding to Elliot's answer she heard him ask the next question. When he asked it she took a deep breath realizing they had jumped off the cliff and wouldn't land for awhile. "Cancer." Sadie answered honestly. She wasn't sure if she should add more so she thought a little and added, "She only suffered for a year or so. I'm glad it didn't go any longer. I hated seeing her so sick." Sadie said this kind of rushed. She knew it was understandable, but spoken faster than she had wanted. Whenever Sadie started talking about her mother, she never knew what was going to leave her lips. "What about your mom?" She asked this quietly. She hated causing Elliot pain, making him think about it, but at the same time, she needed to know.
