Title: Knives in Schools Allowed

Well well well, here is a neat little tidbit. While American children get expelled if they even 'draw' a picture of a gun or knife ... it is now OK for Sikh children to wear knives to school.

Armed in School

I'm waiting for the explosion of outrage from American parents over this. Oh wait, this is in Detroit, there are no Americans left!!!!

Unbelievable TD!!! I'm stunned! My grandson was suspended for bringing a little pumpkin carving knife to school last year and these kids get to wear their daggers on the belts!

Out here they have been suspending kids for bring the plastic flatware knives to spread something on crackers or bread. It is so common that it isn't even reported anymore.

Yup, in another case in Spotsylvania VA (where I used to live) a student was arrested and charged with 3 counts of misdemeanor assault and expelled from school for 'shooting plastic pellets thru a pen casing'. He apparently hit 3 students with the plastic pellets (air soft?) during lunch period. Bear in mind that this is a county that used to, basically, shut down school on the first day of hunting seasons a couple of decades ago. While they never actually did shut down the schools, it was a given that the majority of young teens would not be present.

FTA:

QUOTE
The federal Gun-Free Schools Act mandates that schools expel students who take weapons, including hand guns, explosive devices and projectile weapons, to school. E-mail traffic among school officials showed they ruled that Mikel's plastic tube, which was fashioned from a pen casing, met the definition of a projectile weapon because it was "used to intimidate, threaten or harm others."

How far we have fallen by our own doing!!!

This is ridiculous.

We can't bring an American Flag to school

We can't say a prayer in school

We can't say the Pledge of Allegiance in school

No pocket knives

No squirt guns (boy, we used to have a ball with these on last day of school)

No sticks

No stones

No spitballs

and yet some off-branch of Islamofacism can bring their dagger to school because of their religion.....

We have definitely fallen off the cliff of DHIMMITUDE :breakcomp:
