Title: Google vs Bing
Description: A choice

VMI84 - June 7, 2010 03:02 AM (GMT)
Ladies and Gentlemen.

I use google a lot but I think I will start trying to use Bing. For those who do not know Google often ignore historical event s which show the history of this nation such as today D-Day, Veterans Day etc. The below link shows the difference on this historical day. Google ignores it and Bing honors it.

bing verses google

Bing home site

I would rather see and revenue generated by my searches go to someone who honors America vice Google's disrespect.

Bing is now one of my book marks.

And lets not forget Google is a big supporter of Obama and Al Gore.

Obama ignores D-Day.

If you think forgetting D-Day makes me angry you are correct. For those of the Mountain who ever get the chance they need to visit the National DDay Memorial in Bedford Va.

D-Day Memorial

The Memorial is in Bedford because on that day in 1944 of the soldiers killed on the beaches on Normandy more came from Bedford per capita than any other town in America. They are know and the Bedford Boys.

May they rest in Peace as I know the Mountain Loves, Respects and Honors their sacrifices even when others do not.

Thanks VMI84.

Google has always been anti-military and anti-American.

From time to time, I'll try yahoo or dogpile because searches for good information are sometimes filtered by google.

And google has there little picture thingy going on for the day, and usually ignores important American holidays in those pictures.

I never knew there was such a memorial and I live in Virginia. I checked out the link and it looks like I will have to make a trip there one weekend to pay my homage. Thanks for the heads up JR

I have only been able to visit the Memorial during the Month of March, If you go try to go in the Summer Months as the pool and the fountains are operational during that time. The fountains are designed to make it look like machine gun fire crossing the water on the beach. Also if you look carefully at the statue on the dead soldier there is either a bible in his ruck sack or lying next to him. That is historically accurate and FYI the bible was recovered and returned to the family in Bedford.

It is a very moving sight and very humbling. It will be worth your time to travel there. Also may I suggest you read the book the Bedford Boys before you go.

It should also be noted that google supports far left media sources like huffpo. Not sure how anyone can take that website seriously. By the same token, so does bing (which is MS / MSNBC oriented), so one is just as bad as the other.

Ladies and Gentlemen;

It is no secret that I do not like Google and its positions. I think you need to see this.

Google Information

Google never has cared about our history and those who have served. The often skipped any mention of Veterans Day, Memorial Day, Armed Forces Day and the Service Birthdays. I use Bing when I can. There are other alternatives out there.

Food for thought.

Today is the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. I just checked Bing and Google. Bing has a picture of the Arizona Battleship Memorial. Google has NOTHING.

I despise Google. smiley-libs-suck-flag

Today is Flag Day and the Army Birthday.

Bing is showing the flag and google is as usual ignoring the day.

Google ignores Flag Day

It was brought to my attention a good long while back that google ignored important American and military holidays. They also collect a tremendous amount of information on you when you use their services. They also somehow managed to add everyone's phone numbers that was listed in phone directory's into their search engine. I had mine removed from their site as unsearchable as there is an option that they have to let you do that. I started using Bing a little over 2 years ago and do not use google anymore.

I wasn't sure where to put this but I am going to put it here as this contains a small list of googles transgressions.

Google Bans Firearm Accessory Sales on Its Shopping Services

This company and its leadership are tyrants. :breakcomp:

It seems as though google has turned into one large ultra liberal search engine site. They are anti-American, anti-2nd Amendment, anti-military and goes against the grain of everything American.

Bing appears to be a good search engine. There is also another new one called 'DuckDuckGo' ... but its a ton easier to just type 'bing.com' ;)

Googles Communist Roots
