Remember last year in October, there were many wildfires and it was said that they had been started by thousands of lighting strikes and destroyed a lot of property. There was even mention by a gay person living out there that it might be a sign that it was an act of God because of the gay marriage that was going on about the same time.

The gay marriage was struck down by a new proposition passed by the people of California. Then we started seeing protests all over the place because the gays didn't like that the proposition that had passed and basically ended gay marriages. So about a week after the gay protests started, we again start seeing wildfires fueled by high winds in California once more, destroying a lot of property

Is it just me or are we seeing a sign that we should be paying attention to? ^_^

What people need to realize is that there is still a righteous judge and his name is I AM that I AM. He is still in charge and although He has been the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, the merciful, He still has to allow and sometimes will execute judgment on His creation when He deems it appropriate. Not saying that this is His judgment but, for sure He has allowed this to happen for reasons that we may or may not comprehend. I think we can draw a conclusion based on what He has done in the past to those that turned from Him to perversion and wickedness. I have heard it said that if GOD does not judge America, He will at some point have to apoligise for Sodom and Gomorah.

I don't know...we get fires every year. Now if all those flaming gays that are protesting suddenly went up in smoke, that would get my attention. :P

I have lived in SoCal for 12 years. There have been some kind of fires every year.

For the last few years we have been in drought conditions. For a few years before this we had a little better than normal rainfall. The brush, grass and trees grew a lot during the wet years, now that the conditions are dry this heavy growth is like pitch kindling and goes up hot and fast. This has made things Much worse.

For those that don't know, this areas normal rainfall is about 7 inches a year. We had a couple of years with over 10 inches and now about 4 years with less than 6.

On top of everything else people have planted very hot burning trees right up next to the houses.

I think the fires are a sign of the normal pattern of this area.
