I lost out on regular gun season this year. Too much work to do and the days off I had were high wind and rain blowing sideways!

I still have 2 months of bow season and the ML season open this weekend. I only have 10 days to fill up the freezer.

I'm shooting a .58 caliber flintlock early Lancaster pattern rifle in some real thick woods. 50 yards is my max shot so my old eyes and the shallow sights should do OK.

I'll let you know if I get to eat this winter!
