I got one kind of like that of my front yard, only used 5 or 6 images though and my camera stitched them all together for me by just setting it on that setting.

I did one of this place before we retired too. I used it all the time to show where we were going to live. The camera software did a good job of putting it together, but nothing like the San Diego one. He said he had to rewrite some of the code to get it to work. I admit to being impressed.

I have a Hand-Me-Down Kodak and so far I've taken both stills and video with my digital camera. There are many settings on it too where I can set it up and take pics of the stars at night. Only if or when I get a sturdy tripod though. smiley-git-r-done

Tripods are nice, mugrb, they really steady the camera... My problem, however, is the 'moving sujbect'!!! :b-b: :b-b: :b-b:

I think I take more that I delete than ever upload! B)

It's difficult no doubt.

Try taking photos of lightning. :two-cents:

One of the best things that I like about a digital camera is; you can take a lot of pictures and then select the best ones, delete the rest and it doesn't cost anything like it did buying all that film. ;)

Yes, Almtnman, I must agree with you on that! If I had to buy film, and pay for developing, I'd for sure be broke! That little chip card is super! I do have a tripod, however, I am taking pics of my birds in flight... Very cool, for sure... They sure can move fast.. I have gotten some real good pics, as a matter of fact, my avatar is one of my birds, I just blacked out the trees it was about to land in... I never got two the same yet.....

Mugrb, I DID try to take a pic of lightening at night, and missed every one... SOMEDAY maybe I'll get that one yet.....

If your digital camera has a fast shutter speed mode, you can set it on that and click the shutter button and it will click off pictures as fast as the shutter can open and close. That might be a way to get a lightning picture.

That is a good idea, I will have to check my manual, and see how to do that... More buttons, you know..... I'll let ya know how it goes, but will need a storm first!! Thanks!
