April Dismissed 2008 June MRI showed additional prolapse L2/L3 Feb Caudal Epidural, on Gabapentin since due to pain. 2007 Deterioration L5/S1 Facet arthritis, Loss of disc height. 2004 Return to Work 2002 Aug started rehab March 2 level ADR Charite L4/5, L5/S1 2000 Broadbased disc prolapses L4/5, L5/S1 |

-------------------- 1998-2001 Early degeneration L1/2. 10 admissions: discography/epidurals/facet injections/disc injections/facet rhizotomies - with little long-term effect.
2005 Successful anterior fusion at L1/2 with BMP: Mr Ross, Spire Manchester Hospital. 2008 Early degeneration L4/5 unresponsive to epidural. Discography: anular tear & bulging. Limited response to core strengthening. 2009 ADR (activ L) L4/5: 20th April, Mr. Shackleford, Spire Cheshire Hospital. |

Hope you spend it doing something you really enjoy.. Pip -------------------- 1991 Had upper back injury whilst working.
On going upper and lower back problems, with prolasped discs. SPD during last pregnancy. 2008 Extreem advance in lumber pain. Refered to Mr Shackleford at Spire Hospital. MRI showed a number of problems. Disc bulging. Moderate DDD, spinal oesteophites.etc. Physio for 8 months March 2009 facet joint blocks at L4/L5 and L5/S1. May 2009 double disc replacement at Spire. Treatment for Sacro Illiac problems |

Thanks folks, it's a really wet and cold and dreary day here in Leeds today so I haven't been out doing anything adventurous like cartwheels and handsprings -- -- -- lol
I've had loads of good wishes and phonecalls and cards so I've really just been "chilling out" and having a nice day. MRI scan 2002 showing small disc bulge L4/L5. Relapse of symptoms Dec 06. July 08 MRI scan confirming ddd l4/L5. Surgical opinion Oct 08. Discogram Feb 08 showing normal L3/L4, degenerate L4/L5, leaking L5/S1. April 08 Consultation with surgeon, advised ADR L4/L5 beneficial but weight loss required. Dec 08, re referred by GP. Jan 09 Added to waiting list for surgery 12th June 09 Maverick ADR L4/L5 Mr Wilson, RNOH, Stanmore, London. |

declined due to poor prognosis. Osteopathy, physio,traction,steroid injections epidurals all tried. 2006 Muscular-skeletal back building course. 2007 Mri disc protrusions Level 4/5 level5/S1. 2008 Discograms show annular tears and bulging. 2009 2 levelADR op 23rd April by Mr Shackleford cancelled due to anaemia.1st Oct and 15th cancelled. Now 29th |

Severe DDD at L4/5 and L5/S1. ref to Mr Mohammed @ Hope Hospital, more Physio 2007 Epidural 2007 told to lose 3 stone put on trial for freedom disc 2009 2nd scan rapid escalation L2/3, 3/4, 4/5, 5/1mr ross no longer able to operate, referred to mr Shackleton scan on 15/10/09 see Mr S 17/12/09 for results (long wait) |

I really hope you had a fab day, And I hope you didn't didn't get toooo drunken, (only joking, lol) Lyssie  -------------------- Lyssie, 21y/o Diagnosed with Scoliosis aged 10, August '06 age 17, had spinal correction and fusion surgery by Mr Lam, now nicely fused T11-L3! Developed pain early '08 below fusion...
-June '08, Injections -June/July '09 Developed numbness -September '09 Further injections, unsucessful Attending pain management! Facet Joint Syndrome! |
