Welcome to the northeastern United States, an area where New York City is a sure focal point. Currently, unbeknown to most of the human population, vampires have been inhabiting the city, walking the streets at night and appearing, well, nothing out of the ordinary. But then again, the humans have not known about the raging war that has gone on for centuries between the vampires and the werewolves. The vampires appear to be winning, have glimpsed victory just above the horizon, but in nearby Sussex, New Jersey, the werewolves have begun to gather--whether to fight back or to find safety in numbers, one wouldn't know.
But one thing's for sure. Something is going to take place. Will the human population finally learn of the immortals that only a handful know about? Will the vampires and werewolves make peace for once? Will a species actually become extinct?
And where do you fit into all of this?

whether you're biking, walking, driving, or hailing a cab, new york city's streets are always going to be busy. there's rarely a time when traffic can be avoided, but with the right amount of experience, one can easily navigate its flow. i'd honestly recommend trusting a cab driver to do such.

whether it's a necessity or just retail therapy, new york city has some of the finest shops around. from your everyday stores to the designer shops on soho, there's nothing you can't find in nyc. of course, things can come at quite a price around here; you may be better off bargain hunting in sussex.

surrounding the small town of sussex, new jersey is a vast, natural wooded area. many locals trek the woods during hunting season, but i highly advise humans to keep out of the woods alone at night. there's been talk of wolves inhabiting the area.

with nothing nearly as flashy as the businesses in new york city, sussex's main street is home to a number of family shops and restaurants. the homey atmosphere is very welcoming though, and a number of family recipes have become popular in the area.

the sussex graveyard has been around since the first colonists set foot in the area some three hundred years ago. though sussex has always had a small population, the number of tombs and graves have grown considerably over the years; the graveyard is still used by citizens today.
