Level: "Higher than you" Group: Site Admin Posts: 155 Member No.: 5 Joined: 6-March 07	There are many ways to RP in forums, its usualy done by making large 10 paragraph stories, but in chat, you must be quick and response, yet type deeply with great info. i learned this the hard way which caused my to quit chat the day i got good. Advance is harder, you must use good grammar, spelling, and detailed info on what your character is doing. But by the time you get to this part of RP, people tend to make their own style or form of RP chatting or posting. And believe you me getting good at RP is not easy.

If this is what you people are referring to, it's known as a "figure of speech". For the most part, it's probably just an incredibly old saying that lost its original meaning somewhere in history but is still in use today.
