All But One Returning, Open to all

The engine of the Blackbird could be heard throughout the mansion as the hangar doors behind the waterfall would open, allowing the X-Jet to enter safely.

This was the X-Men team that had been sent to Wyoming. It was the team that everyone has been worried of their absence in this horrifying time for a mutant. They have finally returned and with some valuable information that can give mutants the upper advantage in the war against the sentinels.

Did everyone return? Was everyone alright? What did they bring back?

OOC: This is open to students, X-Men, X-Mansion staff, anyone who currently resides in the X-Mansion come on in.

Storm was not sitting in a seat in the Blackbird, but instead was aiding to Bobby the best she could. He took a horrible attack just before they managed to get out alive from Wyoming. The mission itself was...interesting. There was even a point that no one knew if they were their actual selves. It even caused Storm to hit Havok in the face. It was all about survival, and to survive, everyone had to make sure they knew not only the surroundings, but the people they worked with as well in this situation.

The Blackbird had landed, and it was important to get Iceman to the medical lab. Yes, once again she was bringing yet another friend to the medical lab. If Gold medals were being given out due to such a task, then Ororo would get one without a doubt. She hated it, not that the African native had to bring someone there, but the fact that one of her friends were hurt. It was never easy to lose a loved one, and the X-Men were her family.

Storm had assumed that Cyclops had much work to do with speaking to Xavier and Jean. Also checking to see if Warren's team, as well as Beast and Ivy returning from Washington. She had hoped that everything and everyone was alright. Though with the events that had happened in Wyoming, and what happened to Bobby and Kitten, she had worries.

Due to she assumed Cyclops would be busy, she looked to Havok and Wolverine, as the door to the jet would open. "Can one of you assist me into getting Bobby to the lab?" she would say, as she did her best to bring Iceman up to his feet and support him the best way she would.

While Wade may not have been the most welcome face to congratulate the cavalry, the second he'd heard about the arrival of one of the X-Jets, he'd immediately felt oddly obligated to go check on what was happening. These were his peeps, and if he didn't say hi once in awhile, they'd totally kick hm out. This being his first permanent home in quite awhile, he didn't want to be thrown out when it wasn't on his terms.

As he entered into the hangar, he rushed up to the Blackbird with a smile on his face as the ramp descended. "Hey Guys What's U- Oh......" He trailed off as he caught site of not only a hurt Bobby, but Wolverine. Would his old Adamantium infused protagonist recognize him? Of course, it wasn't hard to spot yellow spandex. He slowly backed up as he looked at Storm. "You guys told him I as living here, right? 'Cuz if not, a phone call letting me know I should run would have been super peachy."

He looked at Wolverine, raising his hands slowly. "Truce? What about some Street Fighter?"

"Jean, we're back...Inform everyone on our return and if you can, meet us here." Well, at least most of the team were. Cyclops would get up from his pilot seat. The team had been able to retrieve some equipment that could possibly give off much information needed on the sentinels and their current wareabouts. However, Kitty Pryde was the next victim to be taken by the sentinels while Bobby Drake had suffered damage and needed medical attention immediately. Of course there was no time to rest or morun. They had a mission to do and had to stop the sentinels as soon as they could before there were to be more victims.

"Come on guys. We need to locate Hank and see what he can get from what we've brought back, especially the motherboard of the sentinel." He knew it would be a relief to Polaris, and Jean that Scott and his brother Alex had returned. Though it would be hard on Colossus that Kitty hasn't. He hated that they couldn't save her in time, and could only hope she was alright and hurry to find her.

Wade would aboard the jet and mostly worry about Wolverine being there. Cyclops would stare at the guy for a second, almost forgetting that he was in the mansion for the time. "You can chat later, but right now Wade, help Storm bring Iceman to the medical lab, pronto. Dr. Griffin or Dr. Reyes should be there."

He would pass up the group and make his way out of the X-Jet, hoping to see someone else.

Holy had come, had made for this place as soon as she herd, things were happening, terrible things. Things beyond the darkness she'd known, there was a new threat not just to her but to all mutants. That announcement, the whole lock down was meant to protect them, and with the return of the x men, she preyed good news followed.

There was pain she didn't need to be an empath to know it, Strom was supporting the boy Bobby who'd she'd met briefly once, her hopes for good news shattered, with the site of him. she stepped forward quickly "Please I'd like to help I'm not a doctor but surly theres something." she offered seeing this she knew she couldn't just stand by help was needed she hoped she could give it.

white fabric flowed around her frame as she walked over wanting to do anything she could to help in this time of need.

Lorna made her way to the Hanger as soon as she heard the X-Jet returning. When she arrived on the scene she noticed her old friends exiting the jet, she did not know who went on this mission, because she was not back from her seclusion yet, but she did see Scott exit the Blackbird.

She slowly walked towards him, but then noticed a much bigger problem, Bobby was badly injured. She sped up her pace as she approached Scott, only recognizing his prescense with a nod as she passed him. The suit clad, green haired woman soon found herself infront of Ororo.

"What happened!?"

She did not see anybody else yet, she was mostly focused on assisting her injured ally.

Alex got up from the co-pilot seat. He was feeling a range of emotions that he just couldn't comprehend at this time. He checked the X-Jet readouts to make sure that the engines had actually powered down and all systems were as they should be in its idle position of the hangar.

Alex still couldn't get over the events of the last few hours. Losing Kitty to the sentinels had been a big blow to the team. Alex would gladly have given up his life to save hers. She was so young, so full of life. I hope she is still full of life Alex thought to himself morbidly. He had been in the X-Men a long time and had seen his fair share of battles, a few of them with sentinels. These new models seemed completely hell bent of destroying the mutant population altogether. Whoever was pulling their strings this time wasn't messing, as far as they were concerned Mutant kind's days were numbered.

Alex had wanted to chase after the sentinels and rescue Kitty, but Scott had said it best to return to the mansion to regroup and analyse the data Wolverine had acquired. Alex argued, but Scott had won and at this moment in time he hated his brother for it.

Alex headed down the ramp and groaned as he saw the hangar filling with staff and students, the last thing they needed. He watched as Storm helped Bobby to get medical help. He still couldn't believe that Bobby had pushed him out of the way and taken that ray shot from the sentinel. They may not alway have got on but when it came down to it, they were all family and Bobby had proved that today.

"What happened!?" Alex heard Lorna ask. "What happened," Alex said in a raised voice so the whole room could hear. "Is that five people who may or maynot be X-Men have just walked straight into the X-Mansion and so far haven't been questioned or challenged by anyone." Alex had turned read, he knew he was taking his anger and frustration out on the wrong people but he couldn't help it. "What the point of locking down the place if you're just gonna let anyone walk in?"

Jean Grey, acting headmistress at the school in the Professor's 'absence', stood with her arms folded across her chest and eyes closed at the large windows of the office. In this meditative state the emotions of the mansion were strong, but bearable nonetheless because one emotion remained consistently dominant. Fear. And she couldn't blame the students or staff for feeling it, knowing that deep behind her own calm demeanor, the same emotion also lurked.

Her eyes opened seconds before the court opened up to reveal the hidden entrance to the hangar and already a quick but sufficient mental scan was done of its occupants. Once done, the telepath felt her heart rise and fall all at the same time. Her mind could be somewhat at ease with the return of Ororo, Logan, Alex, Bobby and of course Scott, but Kitty was missing and from what she was sensing, Bobby was injured. "So we've lost yet another teammate to them." She spoke quietly to herself to allow the words to hit her being said aloud in the privacy of the office, so that she would be prepared once she heard it again.

The tears that were starting to fill her eyes once the words were spoken, fell when Scott's telepathic message was heard. Yet no response was made at first. Once her tears were dried, the intercom sounded. "Students, I'm happy to announce the...safe return of our team from Wyoming. I will be meeting them in the hangar and anyone is welcomed to join me if you can."

Jean headed into the hangar once the message was delivered and stopped at the open entrance in time to hear Alex's words to those that were gathered. She knew he was in pain and for that reason stepped forward calmly. "Had you been Sentinels, you wouldn't have been standing in this hangar right now Alex." She looked at him feeling his anger, but smiled slightly anyway. "I know what you're feeling, but you can't afford to take this out on your friends. We will get Kitty back, but now more than ever we need to stay together." Her focus was on Ororo next, her best friend. It was good to see that she was well, though the same couldn't be said for Iceman. "The medical room is ready Storm, and in spite of our obvious," she paused before continuing as she knew that now wasn't the time to be hiding the truth. "In spite of our obvious loss it is great to have you all back with us in the safety of this mansion. We can do the debriefing in the office whenever you're ready Cyclops."

Her voice got softer as she thought about hearing the details of the mission, but before any obvious reaction could be seen Jean politely excused herself after a quick glance between Scott and Logan and headed towards the entrance- stopping just outside it once she was out of sight to lean against the frame for support. It was all starting to feel overwhelming suddenly.

Izra'il was dressed in shabby, worn jeans and a tank top that perhaps once was white, but now was a cream color. She was idly wandering about the mansion when she heard a commotion coming from her left. Ally followed the noise to a crowd that was gathered around the jet.

Ally wandered over towards the large group of people. Everyone was obviously concerned and one was even shouting. She curiously made her way through the crowd, pushing her way to the front. She then saw an injured guy being half held half dragged away from the jet. Concern immediately showed on her features as she took in the scene.

"Wait! i can help..." Ally said making her way towards storm and the guy. She was excited at finally getting a chance to heal and her fingers were beginning to itch.

Ally was normally a quiet person so she surprised herself with the volume of her voice. yet she never hesitated, Ally knew that he needed her help and strangely found herself calm as she approached the two.

"I can help if you'd like... i can heal others but if you'd rather go to the lab, that's ok too." Ally desperately hoped that they'd give her a chance. She was eager to do something... lately she'd been feeling useless lying around and doing nothing. Being trapped in the mansion definitely had it's negatives.

She quietly waited for someone to reply. Ally, for the first time, met storm's eyes as she waited. At the moment she didn't feel nervous or awkward like she normally did.

With Wade's orders issued, he immediately boarded the jet, eying Wolverine as he passed him to help Storm with Bobby. "I'll take him. You've got more important stuff to deal with." He placed an arm under Bobby's legs as his other arm wrapped around the mans back as he hefted him up like a rag doll.

As he descended the ramp, one of the mansion teens approached he and the weather controller.

"I can help if you'd like... i can heal others but if you'd rather go to the lab, that's ok too."

He looked back at Storm, then to the girl again, then Storm, then the girl again. He turned back to Storm, this time speaking up. "I know pretty much everyone here outranks me, but maybe we should give her a chance? And f things don't work out, well, Med Lab is still open for business." the younger Brunette seemed like a sweet kid who meant well. Wade had been given a lot of chances here at the mansion. Maybe one should go to someone useful.

Leo hadn't been expecting this at all. Hell, he'd never seen someone injured before...well he had after a game of croquet and then after a fender bender on Mill Avenue...but not like this.

He couldn't help but over hear what was being said, and he'd merely stood, eyes wide now...this was really dangerous stuff. He brought a hand over his mouth in shock, what were they supposed to do now? He'd never heard of this in a school before, the sentinel annoucnement was bad enough on him....and now this?

He'd looked to the two students who had offered to help. He had no idea really who the other one was...he was a teacher it wasn't like he had to figure out who everyone was. But he recognized Holy. He then would nod when the man he'd enjoyed a grill cheese sandwich with spoke. He didn't think as optimistically, he thought this was no place for the students to be, he'd rather take them both upstairs and out of their way.

But...if she could heal..."That might be the best choice. What do we tell the students?" He would ask. That was his priority right now. He didn't want them running into a panic, there were bound to be students close to this area anyways.

Vince had his usual grimace on when he met the returning party with the others. Being the security guy, of course he'd have noticed that they were returning. Either way things didn't go well...well at all. he didn't have any access to any of the lower areas really, which he found sorta ridiculous, cause he couldn't rightly secure it if he couldn't see it. But this area he did, and even if he didn't he wouldn't mind putting a bullet in the first person who tried to stop him.

This wasn't good at all. His first thought actually was to offer to help bring Bobby to the med lab, he stopped for a moment as a teen offered to help. What the hell was she doing down her? Or that other girl? This sure as hell But he didn't mind echoing Alex's sentiment of why the group had just came in and no one else challenged them. Hell, f it weren't for the urgency Vince would've found some way to search them all.

The two younger women had offered to help, and Vince found that rather admirable of course. But they couldn't do jack in here. Vince might not have been a known mutant as long, but he saw a problem with letting someone who he saw as young and inexperienced handle any form of healing if there were trained doctors, he didn't even trust the young doctor down in the med lab, with his shifty eyes...normally he hated the idea of someone just healing him, it was frightening. It was probably because he still had issues trusting mutant powers. He wasn't even sure what the other girl, Holy could do. He doubted lights would do them much good here.

Anyways, he felt the urge to at least touch the metal of his gun, his baby. It was comforting...too bad he couldn't carry it around when he was at this school...he felt himself reaching for the calming cigarettes that he didn't need...and they weren't there...fan-freaking-tastic.

There was so much going on at once. More individuals would enter the room, asking questions, giving suggestions, offering to help. Though that could get stressful, tt was a good thing to see everyone wanting to help and show concern. However, the first thing he needed to address, was Alex and his outburst at Lorna. The words shared between the two brothers before leaving out were not great. Cyclops had to make a decision. They couldn't go after Kitty without being captured themselves. He had faith they would get her back.

"Alex! Cool it right now!" he said to his brother after Jean would speak to Havok. The last thing the mansion needed were over the top emotions, especially with the students.

"Holy, I need you find any staff doctors and tell them to get to the medical lab as soon as possible." he would give the student her orders. Then he looked to a girl he wasn't familar with, but had seemed to have the power to heal. However, he really didn't know anymore of the power. "Go with Storm and Deadpool to the medical lab, you can assist the doctors there."

With that, there was Vince Cross, Leo Lennox, and Jean Grey. it was great to see all of them. He looked to Jean, his love, who would also be needed in the medical facility, however she was needed to explain everything. "The debriefing could begin now. Has the Professor and his team returned yet with Nemo and Chris, as well as Archangel's team? And what about Beast? Has he returned, because we have a few things he'll need to look at that could give us more information on these sentinels."

He looked back at the Blackbird, wondering what was taking Wolverine so long to exit out. He looked to Vince, Leo, and Lorna. "Knowing the students, they may be worried when hearing of Iceman and Shadowcat. If you could tell them that we have returned, and do your best to keep everyone calm. The last thing we need is everyone panicking."

He would then look to Jean, awaiting for her response.

Lorna walked over to Alex, after his brother had berated him. She had no intention of doing the same, she was going to consol him, because clearly he was distraught from the mission.

She placed her left hand on his chest, and her right hand on his left should, and looked him in the face, moving hers close to his own, she then began whispering.

"Alex, it's me, ...Magnetrix....You know I would be able to tell if any of you were as magnetic as a Sentinel. The mission must have been hard. I want you to tell me about it when we are alone."

Lorna had hoped that by using his nickname for her, it would help calm him down, then Scott issued the order for her and some others to help calm the students.

"Scott, is it okay if your brother comes along, if he wants to, of course."

Lorna looked over at him, she hoped that he was allowed to do this, and that he agreed to it. It might just be the thing to help cool him down.

Alex pulled back as Lorna made contact with his shoulder. It was still badly burnt and sore from where the sentinel had attacked him eariler in the mission. His whole left arm had gone numb and it was with great effort that he could use it at all.

Alex didn't pull entirely away from Lorna however, her warmth and comfort was exactly what he needed. She reminded him why he was doing this, why he was here. He was fighting for the people he loved, for the woman he loved. She was the only person who could calm him down when he was like this, the only one who could console him.

Alex chose to ignore Scott's words. He was used to being put down by his older brother, part of the job really. But Lorna's words struck a cord. "I'm sorry...I'm so sorry..." he said to her, loud enough for anyone within a couple of feet away to hear. "It's just...he saved my life Lorna. The twirp saved my life. He jumped in front of a sentinel to stop it attacking me and he got injured. Who would have thought it? Bobby Drake saving my life."

Alex smiled, but it was forced and strained. "I have to go to the debriefing, I have to be there, you understand right?" Alex said reguarding Lorna's wish that he went with her.

Alex then turned to the student who claimed she could heal. "Can you take a look at my shoulder?"
