(Continuation of: Cadet Discussion. Also, if you were invited, please wait until Jubilee posts.)

Frost had managed to convince Jubilee to allow him to fly to the mansion with her in arm, though he had to admit it wasn't as easy as he had thought. Sure the actual holding her part was quite enjoyable, but the flying was proving difficult. He had never tried flying where carrying anything else, let alone trying to make it appear he wasn't carrying something else. Spotting the mansion, Frost quickly scanned the area, not noticing anyone immediately. Sure, that didn't mean none where around, but it meant for now he was clear to land on the roof. He shot down at the roof, at this point slightly tightening his grip upon Jubilee.

"Hold on Jubes, wouldn't want you falling." He spoke teasingly, though assured her he wouldn't let that happen.

Landing upon the roof, Frost quickly ducked low to the roof. Letting go of Jubilee, he quickly shifted to his human form, or his true form. Staying low to the roof, after of course rolling to the side of Jubilee, he crawled towards the window he usually entered, sliding it open as he peeked inside. It seemed no one was coming outside, at least not for the time being. Propping himself up against the wall, he reached down and pulled Jubilee into his arms, just holding her. Leaning down, he lightly kissed her, then leaned his head back.

"I still don't want to go in yet. In there, it won't be the same as out here, you know?" He spoke quietly, a bit of sadness in his voice.

Jubilee had flown with others before, obviously - though it was usually either with Storm or Rogue. Frost didn't have the experience they did, and while she didn't mind being near him at all, it was something of a harrowing experience as they flew from the City back to the Mansion. She'd tried to keep her weight as centered as she could, but even still, he'd nearly flown into several trees - and thank goodness for her fireworks, too, since she'd had to about halve one or two of them. But they got back to the school safe and sound, and no one had been hurt at all.

When they landed, she was for a moment less focused on him than on getting her feet under her on solid ground - as amazing as he was, self-preservation was still her number one concern.

She kissed him back when she'd finally caught her breath, smiling and speaking softly. "You're being dumb, Frost. It'll be fine. It's not like I'm a little kid anymore, y'know. Nobody's going to question it, as long as we, y'know...act normal, and don't like jump each other in the hall."

She smiled, her gloved hand clasping his and walking in quietly, glancing around for anyone upstairs.

It was early. Very early. But according to Warren, that was the best time of day to go out for a fly. And apparently... he wasn't the only one who thought so. The window leading to his bedroom was quite large, and as he'd been about to jump out of it he'd noticed another abnormally large figure in the sky, flying towards the school. It was Frost, judging by the dragonish form... and he was carrying someone. Warren watched for a moment longer, waiting until the others had landed before taking flight himself.

They didn't seem to notice as he'd swooped up behind them, hovering in the air as he listened to them speaking. It certainly didn't take a genius to figure out what was going on. For some reason Warren couldn't quite describe, he felt his temper snap, his sharp eyes digging into Tom as he finally made his presence known. "He's damn right it won't be the same!" He couldn't believe Jubilee could be taking something like this so lightly. He'd never met Maria where people were destined to see them, never did any more than kiss her, and somehow word still got around. If they were sleeping together... did she seriously think they could keep it a secret?

With a flap of his wings, he moved closer, dropping to land directly beside them, his eyes shifting to Jubilee as he did so. "And I agree. Jumping each other in the halls will be very, very bad! As much as I like Tom, I'd really hate to have to break him out of jail." The last word was stressed as his eyes shot back to the other man, trying to stress the term. Of all people, Warren could understand being attracted to and falling for younger girls... but to actually cross that line with them... Tom obviously needed to get a better head on his shoulders before he got himself into serious trouble.

Zac had been up in his room, his window was open letting the cool breeze flow in. He loved the way it cooled down his room, he was just being himself, then he heard someone talking. Didn't they have a curfew? He poked his head out of his window just in time to see the people below kiss. Is was dark so he couldn't tell who it was exactly, but he didn't want them getting into trouble. He used to be like that, sneaking out or coming home late, when he was supposed to be in bed, it made the young life fun. Just when he was about to fly down and say something he saw Warren, but he just hovered above the two. What was going down? He couldn't wait anymore, he had to find out.

The wind would pick up as the mutants body lifted up, and then floated down to the ground. He landed softly without making a sound where the others were, the couple came to be Frost and Jubilee. Zac then had a puzzled look on his face, wasn't Tom like seven years older then her? Thats when he figured out why Warren was here. This could be a problem. "Um, hey guys, what's going on?" he asked, trying to act like he didn't see anything. "Throwing a party or something?' he asked the trio, he really didn't know what to say. He just hoped nothing bad happend.

At first he wasn't aware of Warren's presence, but that changed as he felt a prick on the back of his neck. It was that feeling one got when someone was watching them, though it was a bit worse than normal. At first Warren finally made his presence known, and his words were scolding. Frost got a sense of dread all of the sudden, getting the feeling Warren would go to Scott or Professor X and have Frost booted from the Cadet Program, and that was probably the best outcome. Sighing, he just turned to look at Warren, having no time to respond to Jubilee.

"I know Warren, I know! What started out as a simple meeting at Evolution to discuss the Cadet Program, turned into a date......and then..." He cut himself off, getting the feeling Warren already knew where it lead.

He was right though, Frost could end up in jail if they weren't careful. Sure, she was seventeen, but he was twenty-two, so their relations was a risky move. Part of Frost had wished he sent her back to the mansion alone, and he came back the next day or something, but he knew that probably wouldn't have been any better. Sighing, he finally noticed Zac arrive, and then mentally ran into a brick wall. So, the best night of his life was destined to end in disaster? He just looked at Zac, realizing Zac had at least seen the kiss, his attempt to relax the situation revealed that much.

"Look Warren, do what you have to, but keep Jubes out of trouble, ok? You have to promise me, please?" If he was going to be getting into trouble, he wanted to take full blame.

He slowly got up, but remained where he was standing. Though Jubilee's hand was still in his own, his hand fell to his side, abandoning her own. Warren was, wait, come to think of it, Warren seemed less scolding the more he thought about it. Frost just stared at Warren, his gaze telling the man he was slowly putting two and two together. If Frost hadn't known any better, he could have sworn Warren was in the very same predicament he was. Frost grinned a bit, and just folded his arms across his chest as he stared at Warren. He then looked at Zac, deciding to at least pay his friend attention.

"Nothing's wrong Zac, isn't that right Warren? After all, it would appear you use to be in the same boat I am." He spoke knowingly, at least hoping his guess was accurate.

Jubilation Lee was starting to get a little annoyed at the men around her. They were treating her like a piece of meat to be tossed around, like her desires had nothing to do with anything. She looked at Warren and her fists tightened, one hand reaching to the end of her glove while her lips pressed into a very firm line.

"Warren Worthington the Third, if you think that you have any right to tell me what I may and may not do with my time, the the company I keep, and my body, you've got another thing coming, mister, because I'll start complaining about those tramps I've seen you running around with. I am, for less than 10 more months, an emancipated minor - the Professor and Scott saw to that, thanks very much, after my foster parents got pasted, for their attempt to 'help' me by registering me."

She stepped closer, whispering, her eyes pools of fury in her petite face. She was very...passionate, with her life, and when she found something that she felt strongly about, she'd defend it with her life. And, well, she wasn't sure which she cared about more - Frost, or the X-Men. It was pretty much neck-and-neck at this point. But Warren wasn't standing between her and the X-Men. He was standing between her and Frost. And she was having none of it.

"Or maybe we should get Scott and Jean up here, huh? See if they were both of that magic number when they first did it?"

She knew very well they hadn't been - it wasn't a big secret or anything.

She turned to Monsoon and snapped at him. "Nothing's going on, and we're not holding a damn party!"

And... someone else was joining them. Great. Just what they all needed. Warren's feathers ruffled in frustration as his arms crossed over his chest, jaw working as he merely glared at the newest arrival onto the scene. Tom's snide comments didn't help his temper in the slightest, and Jubilee's aggressive approach was just the last straw. His glare shifted onto Tom, as he decided to get that rumor far out of the way before it could possibly have time to take seed in anyone's mind. "First of all, Maria was 19 when I dated her! And I sure as hell never slept with her!"

His gaze shifted to focus intently on the smaller girl in front of him, his vibrant green eyes digging deeply into her darker ones. "And secondly, just because you're emancipated doesn't mean he's immune from trouble! Emancipation doesn't make you look any older! And by the time the cops get smart enough to look you up, guess what? Tom's already got a ruined reputation!" Yes, that was Warren speaking from experience. He still couldn't forget the confrontation he'd had with Conner in the basketball courts... and he knew it hadn't gotten any better.

"I'm not telling you to do anything but be careful, Jubilee! Just stop for one damn moment and think! You're not immune to this world! The more you think you can avoid, the less you really can! And don't tell me that you've already thought about it and made your choice, because clearly you haven't!" Warren had made his choice, a long time ago. He'd chosen the life he lived... and there were times that he regretted it. Like when he had to face Maria and explain... and pray that she believed him.

His gaze moved once more to Zac, and Warren could only hope he wasn't the kind to spread things around like wildfire. "Go on back to your room Zac... this hardly concerns you." No, technically it didn't concern Warren either. But in a way, it did. He wasn't their peer like Zac... but he was their teacher. If he just walked away without bringing their attention to more than just their blinding passion, he wouldn't be able to forgive himself if something went wrong.

Zac watched as everyone was sort of biting eachother's heads off, the arguement seemed to be getting a bit more intense. Zac had never seen Warren like this, was he truly that upset over this? Love is an emotion you can't keep control over, so what Frost and Jubilee were in love, yes he was a bit too old, but it's not like the worlds gonna come crashing down. Zac just continued to stand there while Frost made his last remark, "So why is everyone fighting then, especially this late. We'll be lucky if the entire mansion doesn't wake up from this..." he said. It would be then Jubilee would snap at him, "Jubilee.." he started, "Please keep your voice down, we don't need anyone else out here, okay?" he begged her.

This was going crazy! Was he the only one concerned about waking up the others? If the Professor was up he would already know about what was going on, but if he was sleeping then Zac would prefer it stayed that way. Warren then told him to go back to his room, "Warren, I'm not leaving until all of this is settled." Zac explained. "What do you think would happen if the Professor or one of the other Xmen came out here, and saw you guys acting this way?" he questioned him. Zac just stood there and looked at the Xman, weren't they supposed to be like a role model for those younger then them? He looked at Frost and then at Jubilee, they were a cute couple Zac thought, and it made him happy that Tom got a girlfriend.

"Warren their in love, it'll be rocky for them because of the age difference, but they can take care of themselves.." he said to the Xman. Zac then fell silent. He started wondering on what would go down next, would it get worse or die down? He prayed that it died down, otherwise it was going to be a very long night.

"Zac's right you two, we need to calm down, alright? Jubilee, Warren is right, but at the same time, he's over-thinking it. Look Warren, I know she's still a minor, and trust me, if you were a telepath, you'd know how awkward this was for me." This was his first attempt at thinking about the entire night, hoping Jubilee didn't take it wrong.

He didn't regret the actions, but he did have some reservations about all that went down. When it was a simple date, it wouldn't have been this bad, but the cherry on top of the date was what killed it. He knew they needed to settle this fast, especially with the Cadet Meeting happening some time today. Colossus had yet to announce a time, and for all they knew, it could be before noon. Frost looked over at Zac, thankful that he was playing the referee. He physically even appeared to calm down, just looking over at Warren. For now, he couldn't really focus on Jubilee, needing to handle this before people woke up and became curious. Quickly his attention turned to Jubilee, a almost pleading look upon his face.

He couldn't think of anything else to say, but he knew he could try to relax Jubilee. Placing a hand on her shoulder, he just looked at Warren, giving him a pleading look as well. He knew how stubborn and defensive Jubilee could be, and Warren scolding them just wasn't helping her relax. Removing his hand from her shoulder, Frost was half tempted to ask her to go to her room, and allow himself and Warren to finish this discussion, but he reframed from doing so. He just looked up at the sky, wishing he had have been smarter about this whole thing.

"Let's, just go back to bed, alright? Just, could you two please keep this between us?" This was his attempt to end the conversation, or at least calm it down greatly.

"Yeah, 'cause anybody who does start with the big mouth gig is gonna get a knuckle sandwich, courtesy of one Jubilation Lee!"

She obviously meant it too, her time with Wolverine pretty much obvious. She turned her attentions to Monsoon, hand still on the end of her glove, threatening him to push her at all, at all. She didn't need to use her powers to beat the daylights out of someone, her training as an X-Man had seen to that.

"The only response that I can give to your comments is that if I were to respond, it'd give you more information than anyone - you included - wants you to know. What you're worried about is bull - trust me. Now, everybody, shut up and back off. Because I need to take a damn shower. Watch if you want, I'm not ashamed of it. But I am going into my room, and I am taking a freakin' shower. But if I hear about this from anyone at all..."

She let the threat hang as she grabbed Frost by the wrist, dragging him inside past Angel and Monsoon. Was she tempting fate? Just a bit. She actually for a moment wanted to hear what Storm or Rogue might say about it. After all, it wasn't like he was twice her age, it wasn't creepy age difference, it was just...he was a little older. And that was all. Of course, that hadn't led to anything like a bad experience, at least for her.

"Does that awkwardness mean this is a one-night thing? That you're just going along with this because I wanted something that you wanted? I need to know."

She walked them to a hidden corner where she had evaded all the X-Men but Wolverine and the Professor once - and they'd gone along with the others.

"Tell me what you really feel."

Warren didn't have a chance to respond to any of them before Jubilee was dragging Tom inside... and he knew better than to follow. Growling under his breath as he released a heavy sigh, he shook his head, arms crossing in front of his chest. "They've got to be careful..." It was all he said, and it wasn't really directed towards anyone. He knew they couldn't see it... the ramifications of someone finding out only bringing the obvious consequences to mind. But Warren knew there was much more than that at risk.

Perhaps he was overreacting. It certainly wouldn't be the first time he'd been guilty as charged. But Tom was right... he had been in a similar position once before. And it was because he hadn't been careful that he'd lost one of the few women he'd ever loved. He'd lost Maria because of what Conner had told her... No, that hadn't been it. He'd lost her because it was true. He couldn't deny it, he wouldn't deny it. When she'd lost her memory... and had only what she'd been told... Warren's choices and reputations had been his downfall.

No, Jubilee likely wouldn't leave Tom over his current reputation. But what happened if they didn't last? What happened a few years from now, when Tom fell for another woman that was a few years younger than him? What would happen if she found something out then because they weren't careful now? Shaking his head slowly, he seemed to have forgotten all about Zac being there... as he turned his back to where the other two had disappeared. With a beat of his wings, he lifted off from the ground, needing to fly for a bit before this drove him insane.

Zac watched as Jubilee pulled Frost away, he could keep the secret, he was good at keeping secrets. He was just about to confront Warren, that was until he flew away. The gust of wind his wings made ruffled through Zac's hair. Well tonight wasn't that bad, although he was just hoping for another peaceful night, and got a little more than expected, but it was all good. The mutant wondered if he should go after Warren, but Zac knew he just eeded a little time to himself. he was probably so concerned about them because like Frost had mentioned, he had a relationship somewhat like theirs.

The mutant just stood their, finally he yawned and scratched at his chest, it was way past his bedtime. The wind around him began making a small, but powerful vortex around his feet. He would use this vortex to float himself back up to his window, once there he climbed in and made the wind go back to it's normal self. He closed his window, turned off the lights, and found his bed. "Well tonight was different" he would mumble, before falling asleep.

Frost was pulled aside from Jubilee, the discussion effectively ending. He wanted to thank Zac, but it looked like he would have to do that at the meeting, as he would have to apologize to Warren as well. He waited till they got into the corner, though she had whispered something along the way. He knew this would be her first thought, and sighed lightly as she asked the question. No, this wasn't a one-night thing, that much was certain in Frost's mind. He wanted to make Jubilee know that.

"No, it isn't a one-night thing. It was awkward because I knew my boundaries, and I crossed them, however willingly I did, I still did." He kept his voice to a whisper, knowing they weren't safe yet.

When they got into the corner, he just relaxed, pulling her close. He enjoyed the feel of her body against his, the warm feeling that coursed over him. It was strange, for a mutant that loved everything cold, this was a warm feeling he loved. He brushed a strand of hair out of her face, listening to her speak. She wanted to know how he really felt, well, here goes. Leaning in, Frost gave her a deep kiss, his eyes closing and the passion very clear. He held her closer during the kiss, slowly pulling back after a few moments.

He just smiled at her, wondering what she'd think of that. He was a man of action, or at least, that's what he wanted to be. Sure, there were times that words would probably be better, but this wasn't such a moment. He needed her to understand just how much he wanted to be with her, even though they only had one date, and even then, it didn't start off as one. He cuddled up into the corner, his arms wrapped around her until she was ready to sneak back into their separate rooms. He knew neither of them wanted that, but he knew they also knew it was necessary.

"Does that tell you?" His voice was gentle, the question being simple.

Jubilee looked into his eyes and let him explain in whispers what he'd meant. She'd had a clue, obviously. It kind of was their first date. And she had egged him on. Not that he'd done anything she minded - not at all. Neither of them, as far as she saw, had any cause for regrets. Or any room for them.

She was just turning her cheek into his hand when suddenly...
fireworks.

Apparently he was determined to make that shower even more needed, from the way he kissed her. And she kissed back, tightly, holding him to her, her fingers digging into the lapels of his shirt. She didn't have this reaction normally. She didn't have this reaction at all, in fact. But here it was and she couldn't explain it. At all.
That, paradoxically, made it better.

She kissed him again, softly, before she could think of speaking again. She smiled. "...Yeah..."

She felt warm in his arms, despite his cold powers. Everyone swore she'd never lose this home. To be honest, she'd been skeptical about that until this moment, when her normally extremely tight shoulder and back muscles suddenly loosened - but in a good way, not like some weakening power. She finally recovered the ability to speak normally, and took a breath.

"I dunno, I think I need another one of those to be absolutely sure."

"You want to be absolutely sure?" He spoke teasingly, knowing she merely wanted another kiss.

He decided to give in, leaning forward to kiss her just as passionately as before. Though this time, it lasted a tad longer than the first. He pulled back this time, still keeping her close, though knowing they would have to separate fairly soon. If Warren was already leaving for his morning flight, that gave them at least 3 hours before everyone else work up, which meant 3 hours of peaceful sleep. It was funny, though he briefly slept back at their hotel room, it wasn't enough after this little encounter. Sighing, he slowly stood up, pulling Jubilee up with him. Standing there, he looking at her with a smile, though withdrew his hands.

"Now go get your shower." Again he teased her, a wink being followed behind the comment.

He probably needed a shower himself, though he really would rather the sleep first. Nah, he'd shower and then just chill in his room. Too bad Jubilee wasn't 18, and wasn't officially a X-Man yet, or even a teacher. If that were the case, Xavier would probably allow her to move into his room with him. They'd have to have their dates away from the mansion, and even then, they'd have to be careful where they went. He didn't care though, for something told them these next few months would pass by quickly, if the X-Cadet program had anything to say about it. Even though Warren seemed like he'd allow them to date, Frost had no doubt the angel would keep them quite busy.
