Canon Character Guide, Guidelines and expectations

Ok, so below is the Canon guide showing whether or not canons from the marvel universe are taken or available. Take notice that not all canons from the Marvel universe are listed, just the ones closely related to the X-Men storyline that we have found thus far. This does not mean you can't apply for a canon that isn't on the list. There are tons we haven't found yet, and if you have one in mind, throw it out there. Though some aren't listed for a reason. If you find a canon, we might find it best suitable on Marvel; A New Dawn, our sister site. So just have an open mind.

We do not accept Alternate Universe characters such as Spider Girl or Rachel Summers. Please stick to Earth 616.

When you apply for a canon please make sure you take note of the following: [this list is subject to change]

1. Stay true to the character's personality. If they are typically someone who relates with people and wants to help out a whole lot, don't play them out to be a cold hearted person who is anti-social.

2. Stay active!! Taking on a canon brings a lot of responsibility! You can't just pick it up one day and then leave without notice which happens a whole lot here. We remember things, so don't think that leaving with a canon won't hurt relations with getting a canon to some degree. Though of course there are exceptions. Too many to list.

3. If inactive for close to or over a month, the canon will be up for grabs. If your canon goes up for grabs, it may be necessary for you to go through the application process again.

4. The canon application process closely follows a 'first come first serve' basis. If someone is applying for a canon you want and there are some problems with the other persons application, you can freely apply for the same canon in hopes to get it. Remember, we pick the person who stays truest to the character.

Now remember, not ALL are listed. Mainly those who are a part of or closely affiliated with the X-Men storyline. When a canon is taken here, it is taken on our sister site 'Marvel; A New Dawn' as well so there will be no issues.

Names in blue mean the characters are active/taken.
Names in red mean the characters are non-playable characters. If you would like to role-play with any characters in red, then please contact a Staff member via PM.

Remember to check in if you are a newly accepted canon.
