It was a full moon tonight and as a result the moonlit mansion's garden had never seemed more beautiful. Being a lover of nature and of plants, Ororo was the one that allowed Jean to understand just how relaxing the garden could be. It was serene.
The mansion's lady telepath sat on one of the benches located there, simply gazing up at the moon in silence. It wasn't often that she was at peace, more rare now than ever; but tonight was different. The mansion was still standing and her family was still there- together- for the most part. It was really all anyone could ask for with everything that was going on.

Tide was furious the man callled wade and his crippled leader the professor had him stuck up in that cramped office all day answering stupid questions about stupid topics. Tide was suppose to be gone two hours ago and now Selene would be mad and looking for him. Tide also had to get micheal and all of his things in the car and get back to the club but Micheal was nowhere to be found and so Tide needed to go for a walk and cool off.
Tide was so ready to be back at the manison and in his room instead of this overcrowded school where he was not even welcomed. Tide had stumbled upon what appeared to be the schools garden and he was not the only one who seemed to be cooling off, there was an elgant and beautiful young woman sitting among the flowers. Tide ddecided to speak to the charming woman since he had nothing better to do.
"If everyday was the same then we can never experiece life and move forward on this road called life." Tide smiled as he walked over with his hands in his pockets. "Hello my dear my name is Mr. Slate and what is a pretty girl like you doing out here all alone?".

The night was Selene's specialty. Under recent events, she had the ability to manipulate the darkness which was perfect for a woman named for the Goddess of the Full moon. It was a beautiful night and plans had been set in motion for the Hellfire Club. Selene had dreams of a great destructive power... which led her and the Hellfire Club to Jean Grey. Tide's following Blacklight back to the mansion had been of importance. It allowed him to get a feel of Xavier's Estate while being nearby in case of emergency.
The Black Queen of the Hellfire Club was a skilled telepath of vast power; though her telepathic prowess paled to the likes of Charles Xavier, Jean Grey, and her white counterpart, Emma Frost. There were certain advantages that Selene had over the mental powerhouses. Not only did she have much more experience than the three of them combined, but Selene had figured out how to mask her presence from the powerful telepaths. No one could sense the Black Queen's presence unless she lured them into finding her.
Tide's presence in the garden had allowed the moment of shock and loss of focus she needed. Immediately, Selene's assault began. Tendrils of darkness shot forth at the redheaded X-Woman in the Astral Plane, going to wrap her up tight in a blanket of darkness, thus to dip Jean's soul in evil. This abrupt attack should have Jean looking temporarily braindead on the corporal world in front of Tide, which would be his signal to look out for incoming X-Men.
Selene's physical body was also present, but hiding in the darkness of the gardens. Jean Grey was a formidable telepath and telekinetic. Corrupting such a soul would take vast amounts of concentration and energy; which is why she had prepared for such an event. Selene needed enough time to not only psychically comprimise Jean's soul, but to physically touch it as well.

Jean wasn't expecting anyone to come into the garden, but still she should have been able to sense him. Looking over at the stranger when he spoke, unable to sense anyone else in the vicinity, that provided her with enough information to assume that he was alone and perhaps even looking for refuge there at the school?
"Those are wise words, Mr. Slate." They reminded her of something the Professor would say, causing her to give a pleasant smile to their speaker. "And I guess I can pose a similar question to you; what brings you to the m—..." Jean's question ended abruptly when she felt something invading her mind. Though this time it was different from anything she'd ever felt before.
Now things are getting interesting...
No...
Her pupils appeared dilated in the center of her green hues, and with a vacant expression on her face all Jean's corporal form could do was stare. In the astral plane however, a struggle was only now beginning.
Shrouded in complete darkness, the telepath tried to fill the area with light, but her insecurities resulted in a failed attempt. The darkness remained and as a result fear was starting to emerge. "Professor...I need your hel—"
You're so weak it's pathetic, Jean...
Shut up! I am not weak!
Finally light illuminated the darkness surrounding her, causing her to move forward cautiously. "Whoever you are….show yourself; now." It may not have been the most brilliant idea, but Jean knew that she had to do something.

As the woman began to speak to him she all of a sudden cut herself short and then a blank state came across her face. Tide was just about to move to the help the woman when the text came to his phone, they were orders from his king and queen and as such Tide had to carry them out without question or hesitation. Instantly Tide turned his back to the woman and felt out the water in the area. He quickly found the source he was looking for running through the sprinkler system that kept the flowers refreshed, he quickly tapped into the source and stood at the ready for an attack or for back up which ever came first.
Tide was told to not leave the spot until he was told to and to hold this line of defense at all cost. He hoped that help would arrive soon he was no fan of being out number, not that he could not defend himself he just did not feel like breaking a sweat today. He quickly text his king that he recieved his orders and awaited the next set of orders to be sent out.

In the Astral Plane, Selene could feel Jean's psyche unraveling against her will. It wouldn't be much longer until Jean would lose control. The Black Queen would have to break Jean's will before that point. The power inside the X-Woman was too much for even Selene to handle. Light broke through Selene's shadows, but the game was far from over. Jean's mind cried out for her enemy to be revealed. Never wanting to miss an opportunity...
Emma Frost stepped in front of the fiery headed woman with a sneer on her face. "You have been much too overrated, Jeanie. It's time for you to leave and for me to take your place. Don't worry, luv, I'll keep Scott company while you're away. After all, we wouldn't want him to get cold in the middle of the night, now would we?" Selene's white counterpart teased Jean. Such remarks were sure to get some sort of rise out of the X-Man. Jean's sheer telepathic power could blow Selene away, which was why she played in games and riddles. All the better to corrupt the soul when it becomes slowly weakened.
Selene telepathically contacted her leading Hellion, Tide, "Incoming." warning him of the upcoming barrage of attacks. It was then that a purple light lit up the sky above the gardens...

With Psylocke's newly reopened telepathy, she could hear Jean's call for help. Psylocke didn't waste any time getting out a window and using her incredible telekinetic power to fly her into the gardens imediately. And considering all that power, it took seconds before she landed in front of Tide. "What've you done to her?!" she commanded, not knowing the Black Queen was around. Psylocke was unaware of Tide's full abilities or how he could have had the power to comprimise Jean's psyche on the Astral Plane. Betsy couldn't leave the corporal world until his threat was taken out of the picture.
In an instant, Psylocke's telekinetic katana, her weapon of choice, was in her hand. She whipped it around a few times as if it were a real blade. It was a tactic to confuse the younger mutant before she jabbed it forward at his head to attack. Upon hitting Tide's forehead, it would completely disrupt his mind. Because X-Men did not like to kill, she only used enough power to knock him unconscious, to wake up perhaps days later will a bloody headache.

Tide heard Selene in his head and without a second of hesitatance he caused the water system to explode as he pulled the water up from the ground. He quickly moved his hands into complax motions and shape and as he did the water that was shooting up from the ground began to mold itself into a giant water serpent right behind tide and in front of the woman he was gaurding. That was when the first Xmen landed in front of him ready to fight.
She did not take anytime as she summoned a weapon and charged at him. He did not wait to move and so he jumped back from the attack and willed thebeast of water to attack. The force of the water , if she was hit would send her flying back a few feet possibly knocking her out. The woman would have difficulty, because her sword would not slow the water any if she did attack it becauseit was tied to his will and so he would have to loose focus or be disturbed in order for the water to stop its assault.
Tide cried with his mind in hopes that Selene could hear him "Thanks for the heads up but how am I suppose to get past this woman. How much longer do I have to hold out for?"

(OOC: Soory it took me so long to reply but i got the okay(messages/invite) from Selene and TheBlack King. So hope its okay)
Micheal had been talkign to Dae when he had gotten the mental call from Selene. He stopped and thought back to her briefly before running out his door. But he ran back and grabbed his old suit. he ran to the boys bathroom and kicked out ot the room. He slid into the body suit and threw on the overcoat and lifted the hood. He felt his gloves tighten around his knuckles and let the electricity flow around him. The lights began to flicker and he smiled, he boy out there pissed himslef as he walked by, "See ya kid, and wpie ya self up. It'll be our secert."
He made his way to the garden and looked around to she Tide by the fouatain. Micheal went to step to him but as he did, some woman came at him with a blade. Micheal watched as she went to make a swipe toward his head. He chuckled, wow was she about to be in a world of hurt. He hadnt seen her beofre when he had first started going here, but he that would help with him trying to distract her. Micheal threw off his hood and yelled, "Hey lady, watch ya self, he can really blow you away if you piss him off."
With the remark that he made, Micheal flung out his arms and sent a wave of black electricity flying thowards the woman, he would ripple it and rearrangeit to follow her if needed. He would hope Tide would be able to help. He knew he had better control than he did.

As the electricity flew towards Psylocke, something suddenly jumped in to it's path. Or someone rather.
It hurt. To say it didn't would have been a complete lie, with that much voltage coursing through Wades body, it was a miracle that he hadn't cried out from the pain. But if there was one thing the Merc was good at, it was taking shots like a champ. He'd been torn up, blown up, had appendages cut off, had organs forcibly removed, been eaten, been punched, been stomped, the works.
He stood, his eyesight focusing on Micheal.
"You look... absolutely ridiculous. Seriously, do you think that looks even remotely cool?"
He was dress in a black thermal, the sleeves moved up to his elbows, a pair of jeans, and black boots. Armed to the teeth with the dual adamantium swords, his JX4GX laser pistol, two MP5's, a colt 1911 and a couple of small grenades. Wade liked blowing things up, and who could tell, maybe he'd get to blow one of these kids to bits. But first, captain ElectroIdiot. He drew the Colt, pointing it at the kid.
"Stop, or I'll shoot." he said, pulling the trigger a few times, a spread with two to the chest, and one to to the right shoulder.
"You do know you're supposed to wait and see if he actually stops, right?"

(ooc) Got petmission from Shaw to enter this little story
On the astral plane another figure entered the plane in a glow of black and orange colored flames. One thing was always for certain for better or worse when Jean was alive the Red Queen or as others knew her Madelyne Pryor wasn't too far off.
The fiery psionic had been in a strange place since returning from the dead making friends with the purple haired TK Ninja in Psylocke and it seemed like she had turned a corner but as always just below the surface the familiar guise of the former goblin queen was there to emerge again. It was inevitable .
The Astral figure of Madelyne walked toward those gathered. She knew that her presence would strike a chord with both Jean and Selene but whether anyone knew it or not she was Shaw's insurance policy.
She stood there not saying anything but a evil smile on her face which said everything.

Kyro had gotten the message, luckily for him he was just finish a meal of some stupid dog that had gotten loose and into the woods. Growling at knowing he wouldn't be able to finish the meal he pulled all the blood from around the beast as well as slashing his chest. The blood that escaped joined the gathering amount around him.
Kyro wasn't wearing a shirt, and silky pants. Quickly he took off towards the mansion appearing inside of what looked to be a garden and seeing Blacklight, and another man who threatened to shoot him. Kyro continued to approach as part of the blood hardened into a small cube as he flung it, connected to the stream of blood as it slammed into the three bullets, ripping through the hard blood, but making it veer off target. "Really know, you have to go and use guns, must be a coward, or making up for something else..." Kyro said as he came to a halt near Blacklight.

The moment Jean made the request for whatever or whoever it was to show itself, she knew she needed to be prepared for whatever result that yielded. To see Emma Frost emerge from the darkness to stand before her however, that wasn't something she was prepared for. Something in her couldn't be more pleased.
"Emma...I should have known it was you. But if you think that I'm going anywhere, or that there's even a remote chance that Scott can be yours, then you're more delusional than I thought." Her voice had more venom than even she intended, but this was Emma Frost- did it really matter? "Now, I'm only going to warn you once," Her eyes narrowed. "Get. Out. Of. My. H-..." Detecting another presence, one she unfortunately was familiar with, her eyes shifted between The Goblin Queen, which is what Jean still considered her to be and the White Queen. Were they working together?
I can't do this alone. Silence. There was no mental taunt, there was only her and two of her nemeses. She remained oblivious to what was taking place in the physical world, in the same garden that brought her so much peace mere minutes ago. Whatever they came to accomplish, she could promise them one thing: she wouldn't give in without a fight.
But how would one fair when the person they were really fighting was themselves?

Shaw punched the wall, a single time, putting a hole more than large enough for any of his associates on the outside to use. "Take out the two X-men. Selene and Pryor need to focus on Grey. Turk, assist Tide. He seems to be having some difficulty with the woman." Shaw would've recognized Elisabeth Braddock, but not Kwannon's body that she inhabited. "The rest of us will shut him up," meaning Deadpool. He walked purposefully towards Wade, who was occupied with Kyro and Blacklight.

Turk strode forward, flanking Shaw's left side as he doled out orders. While the rest of them took on the guy with the gun, he had to help the one that looked like a hobo take out the woman. Apparently they had two psychics working on Grey, though with these two, why exactly did they need this one? Were the other two just not good enough? He formed an orb of energy tossing it at Selene lazily.
