"Lt. Commander Andrew Katosic, AKA Agent Guise of SHIELD's Mutant Task Force. October 3, 2011." AK paused, taking a deep breath before continuing to speak into the microphone hooked up to his computer. "I've been attempting to track the subject responsible for the Crusade Massacre. Following a lead given by Facedancer, a corresponder on the scene of the crime, that the subject could well be a former colleague with the X-Men, one Warren Worthington III, AKA Archangel, I went to Xavier's Institute for the Gifted in hopes to bring Mr. Worthington in for questioning. I was stopped by the Headmistress Ororo Munroe, AKA Storm. She politely informed me that without a warrant I wouldn't be questioning anyone living at the Institute. Lovely woman. I think she likes me.
"I've been forced to resume my search else where. The subject has appeared twice more, both instances committing violent crimes against members of Stryker's Crusade. All crime scenes have been thoroughly examined. No prints, no DNA, no facial recognition... not so much as a feather left behind. We can't even get an accurate voice print because the subject likes to play Batman. And unfortunately, in this day and age, in order to secure a warrant I need a little more probable cause than 'He looks like an angel'. However, after talking to witnesses, I believe I have a new lead. Instead of looking for what the subject left behind, I should try to find what he took with him. One person was taken from each of the last two crime scenes. I find the hostages... I find the angel."
Clicking the 'stop recording' button on his screen, AK leaned back in his chair, stretching his arms over his head. After playing back the recording to make sure he didn't miss anything, he submitted it to his superiors. Seriously? How hard could it be to find an angel? Maybe he should go back to the Institute, but under a different pretense. People were more likely to talk if they didn't think they were in trouble.
