Title: A RainCloud
Description: Xmen/Staff
Tide - May 30, 2010 10:31 PM (GMT)
Tide was wearing a simple white suit with a single red tie and on each thigh was a mid-size contain which held water for those just in case kind of moments. He stood at the gate of the familiar manor as he awaited kindly for someone to come and retrieve him. He was here on very important business and it would a crucial point in the struggle that was fast approaching he had to find all the help he could get before the gala.
Tide smiled and waited patiently, he hoped that everything would go according to plan.

NEVERLETMEDOWNTHIS IS NOT AN IMAGE, THIS IS GOD GIVEN
HARD LIVIN’ MIXED WITH CRYSTAL SIPPIN’ James got out of the back of the Limo, after the driver opening the door, sporting a pair of nice jeans, a black shirt and a suit jacket, with some shiny leather shoes, topped off with sunglasses. He personally didn't like the whole "high class" behavior of having doors opened for him and security guards on his heels. It cramped his style. As a matter of fact he called his guards off of him and directed them to Tide, besides, they were at the mansion what could happen?
So, there they stood in front of his sister's school. This time for business. He'd made time to visit more often but not every one could be full of fun and games. Here they were in discussion for the upcoming battle they'd have to face with the woman known as Selene, the Black Queen of the Hellfire Club. James would be leading a squad working alongside them, and he'd need to know who he was was with even if he didn't know who up against. The X-men were among the best of the best, and he was going to working with them. The thought alone was intimidating... but wasn't his sister on the path of becoming one of them? Damn he was proud of her.
The Mutt glanced over at his boss, good 'ol Mr. Slate. "'Ey... think this whole thing'll go aight?" He looked back towards the building that housed the most mutants he'd ever seen in one place. "So who do you know from here? I'm guessin' at least Ms. Munroe?" he leaned over with a little with a smile. "'Ey I know your preferences and all... but don't lie...she pretty fine ain't she?"

Storm - June 1, 2010 04:15 AM (GMT)
Speaking of Ms. Munroe, Ororo Munroe had seen from the distance the arrival of a limo from the balcony of the second floor. She wore a black long sleeve and over it, a black vest. Along with the top wear, she also wore black pants with black high heels. Her white hair being down. She had noticed James. He was Blacksmith Corporation's Head of Security. His sister, Valeria, attended this school. The other man, she has never met...but something about him, she has seen him before.
Then it hit her. When looking through Cerebro's files, she had believed him to be one of the members of the Hellfire Club. It was he that has helped them into kidnapping Jean. Ending Scott's life. Endangering many. He would not come any closer to this school and if it weren't for James being there with him, she would've probably attacked him already for even stepping on this property.
Ororo had made sure to press a button, it was an X-button, an X-button that every X-Men and X-Woman had on them at all times. It did not make a noise, but it did indeed beep for the other X-Men. Just loud enough for them to hear it. She flew off the balcony and landed right in front of the two men. "That's as far as you go!" she made it clear. The thunder in the skies even made it clear as she landed lightly on her feet.
She paid no attention to James at the moment and glared at Tide. "You have much nerve to show yourself here!" she was ready to attack if needed.
Tide - June 1, 2010 06:21 AM (GMT)
Tide put his gaurd up and slipped into his business mode and Mr slate the business man stepped up to the plate. Mr. Slate was about to comment on Mutts taste in women when the sky went from blue to black in a matter of seconds and that was when the Head of the Xmen landed in front of him with all her fury. Terrance knew that this meeting would be dangerous but he had to come anyways, there was no one else who could help him beside Shield but with one of there own being involved then he was unsure of there loyalty to the cause.
"I am here to talk and that is all, I have come in peace if you can believe that storm. If you do not then summon that psychic of yours and I will allow her to comb my thoughts. I have also brought James and he is to be my proof that I mean no harm to you or any one else while I am here." Terrance said as he stood his ground and prepared himself for a fight.
The tension between the Head of Blacksmith Corp and the Leader of the Xmen was heavy and one could feel the delicate balance that was there on the verge of breaking. If all went to plan maybe he could help the Xmen accomplish there goal and that was hopefully retrieveing Jean who was now lost in what is known as the Pheonix force.

NEVERLETMEDOWNTHIS IS NOT AN IMAGE, THIS IS GOD GIVEN
HARD LIVIN’ MIXED WITH CRYSTAL SIPPIN’ Speak of the white haired, blue-eyed devil, there she was! Only... she didn't look to happy. Then it hit him before she spoke. Tide was a member of the Hellfire Club before he had met, and despite any changes he may have made since then, his actions of the past couldn't be erased. It all made sense. Despite all this, James still had a job, and that was to protect Slate, no matter who was after him.
As Ororo landed, with an example of her Alias forming above, James quite boldly stepped in the path between her and Tide. She looked past him as she spoke words of power to the man behind him, but he stayed his post. The security guards with him, a woman codenamed Lassie, and short but strong armed man codenamed "Underdog" (of course the Mutt name's his soldier's after dogs) stepped forward guns aimed at the dark skinned goddess. James shook his head at them "Uh, uh, drop 'em, she'd fry you in a split second anyways." with that they cautiously lowered their weapons but kept eyes on her.
James looked at Storm. "'Ey sorry, this isn't a form of disrespect or anything Ms. Storm but I can't let you hurt Mr. Slate, he really just came to talk-hey seriously though, the last time we met did I tell you that you are one of the most beautiful black women I've ever seen? Because I promise you it's a fact, and I'm not the lyin' type..." he said addressing the issue at hand, along with the very obvious endearing compliment all it once in a string of words. He first had to at some point tell her she was riveting in the looks department, and then secondly he thought it could possibly lighten her up a little, considering the dark clouds that loomed overhead...

Wade - June 2, 2010 12:51 AM (GMT)
"Oh yeah. You should drop those ASAP. Because, y'know, bigger gun and all." Wade Wilson liked trees. Which was pretty evident, given his location in the big oak hanging over the schools high brick wall. Why he was holding a .50 Beowulf assault rifle wasn't really clear. Actually, why he was here in the first place wasn't really clear though to be fair, the thread had said it was open to X-Men and mansion staff, and he was kind of an X-Men sort of. Did dating one count? Plus, it always looked better if more then one X-Man took an interest in something.
"Wait a second... aren't you the guy that snuck in to the mansion to try and disable the security systems, which lead to the kidnap of our good friend Jean Grey, so you could take her back to the Hell Fire club which led to the release of an angry quasi-cosmic being who's now teamed up with Mephisto in order to take over the world and or dominate all life on the planet as we know it? Because if you are, I can end this conversation right now by putting a half pound of lead in to your friends and blowing up your car." Alright, so maybe he'd made the Mephisto stuff up, but he was pretty sure the first part wasn't a complete lie sort of. Oh yeah. Now he really wanted to shoot these guys.
Storm - June 2, 2010 06:46 PM (GMT)
James was quick to get between her and Tide then along with the soldiers ready to attack her if necessary until James had spoke nothing but the truth to his soldiers. Those weapons could easily be avoided with a powerful windshield. Plus, just like they had their own army, her army was much bigger. With now standing outside the mansion were various X-Men, such as Gothica, and Wolverine ready for battle if needed. She looked back at the team, then back at them. Her attention on Tide who she didn't trust.
She smirked at Deadpool's words, and was a bit surprised to see him in the trees. A sneaky little thing he was indeed. He had spoken the truth and if no one took Wade seriously because of his humor, then they were in for a whole lot of trouble. "So you've came to talk?" She continued. "What could you possibly be here to discuss with us, afterall, it was you who attacked this home." she looked back at the other X-team closer to the mansion, back at Wade, who was in a tree ready to attack as well. "Needless to say, there are people here that wouldn't think twice of killing you."
And James. He had a job, she understood that. But she had a job as well, the safety of this mansion. Selene or Shaw could've been closeby. The compliment, was brushed off. When Ororo was serious, she didn't have time for anything else. He said he wasn't the lying type... "Neither am I, so if he has something to say, he needs to say it here, and it better be good. We're not allowing him any closer to the mansion and that's final!"
Tide - June 3, 2010 02:37 AM (GMT)
Tide listen to the ranting of the lunatic known as Wade, the man was skilled and was not to be pushed to far he was unstable every time they ran into each other. The situation was getting a little out of control and Tide had to get control or it would not end pretty at all he and his men were greatly out numbered. Tide turned to James commrades and waved them back into the limo, he was about to step from behind James but thought better of it James took his job very serious.
"I was here to pick up a former student of yours, and thought I would explore and got lost in your facility. Jean was never my goal and to be honest she was very nice to me and I meant here no harm but I was told to protect her from harm and that is what I did. As you know the crowd does not take well with being told no and since I did not see you guys jumping in to safe me then I did what I had to, to survive.
Selene met me a few years back at the docks here in New York along with a student that went here who called himself Blacklight. See made an offer that if we refused she would have killed me and the boy and so I joined here to again protect myself. A few weeks back however I came into some information that would be the key to my cell. Since I can no longer be trusted in the manison they shipped me to Hong kong to handle business over there while protecting there assests here. Selene is goiing to be holding a Blackmarket Auction and I believe will be selling slaves to the highest bidder.
I come to you for help, I have contacted Shield already and they will be helping in crashing this auction do to private interest in the matter. I have the means to take Selene down but I can not do it alone. We have lost Sebastien Shaw due to betrayal and Selene is to occupied by her own thoughts to be of any help. Hellfire will be left in a shape where someone can take them down for good I hope. There is another thing I have to say before I let you think about what I have said, there is a silvered hair boy that has been left in my care but I will need a place for him and me to stay where we can be safe or at least where he can lay his head. Selene brought to him a while ao and I have taken care of him the best I can."
Tide took a deep breath and he felt drained it was the first time in a long time that he could finally get everything off his mind. His heart felt lift and he hoped for the Best. For support he place a hand on James shoulder, he was glad that he could rely so much on the man. He would have to show him how much he respected him some day.

NEVERLETMEDOWNTHIS IS NOT AN IMAGE, THIS IS GOD GIVEN
HARD LIVIN’ MIXED WITH CRYSTAL SIPPIN’ James quirked a brow. Silver Boy? Like the Silver Girl?? Now why the hell didn't he know about this!? That was her brother! He gave Tide a look... a look that said "What the hell dawg! tell me s***!" though he didn't verbalize it, he'd definitely get the meaning. He turned to Wade. "'Ey Tarzan, they dropped the weapons chill out..." what a cynical bastard, sounded like someone he knew... but couldn't place his finger on it. Shrug.
Turning back to Storm, he spoke with less pizazz, having quickly realized that she was all about business right now, and wasn't going to change as long as what she viewed as an enemy stood in front of her. "I respect that Ms. Munroe, and you heard him... he's just here to help. Any mess he caused before isn't going to happen again... I promise... James said as he looked at the CEO of Blacksmith. Because he promised.... and I don't like when people break promises... The words were bold, however they weren't a threat. It was a fact that when they went into business together Tide pledged his path from the dark side so to speak, which gave James more incentive to work with the man on his new journey. As much as he'd protect him, he'd also keep him from attacking the X-men, unwarranted. ”So believe me when I say… there ain’t gonna be no trouble…”

Psylocke - June 10, 2010 10:36 PM (GMT)
{He's telling the truth,Ororo.}
Psylocke made her presence known with a stern expression, carrying a Japanese Katana in case the situation got ugly. Standing on the lawn nearby, she was already annoyed by Tide's right hand man... Almost at the same level of annoyance as Wade. Just because he spoke the truth, Betsy was not impressed and those emotions also transmitted to Storm.
"No matter the circumstances, you are still guilty of working with the Inner Circle." she made her comment and was battle ready if Storm changed her mind. She'd also wait for Storm's response before she suggested a full mental scan. With as closely as he worked with Selene, there was likely a great deal of information to learn about their dealings.
Warren and Betts already planned to attend the Hellfire Club gala, which Psylocke loved a day where she got to dress in elegant gowns.
Wade - June 14, 2010 10:45 PM (GMT)
"Yes. Jean was never your goal. That's why you were so compliant in her kidnapping while completely forgetting the 'former student'. And taking our friend really screams save me. Just like me stabbing you in the leg would scream 'I just want to be friends.'" He'd decided that he was going to call people on their bullshit. It's not as though people listened to him anyway. Clinically, he was viewed as absolute bonkers.
"If I can insert my professional opinion, I vote that Han and Chewie over here get off the lawn and handle their own mess. You can't be complicit in kidnapping and then tell us that you want to save kidnap victims. Talk about the pot calling the kettle... well, dude, there's not even a color analogy for this one. That's how stupid this sounds. That's like Ted Bundy going to the cops and telling them he wants to help apprehend a murdered. That's like Hitler going to the U.N. and telling people he wants to stop the atrocities of Chairman Mao. Seriously dude."
Storm - June 22, 2010 05:48 PM (GMT)
Ororo was happy to see that things had went well. It was really annoying her lately that some people thought that anyone could just attack the X-Men. It was an unfair target over and over again. Now she believed James, she felt she could trusthim. Afterall, his sister was attending the school. Tide, she still had her doubts.
It was when receiving Betsy's message that she believed the man could be trusted. It did not mean that he wouldn't pay for his actions however. But it seemed that this could perhaps be the perfect chance to stop the Hellfire Club once and for all. Then perhaps, free Jean from the Phoenix.
It seemed like Wade was ready to place bullets in the bodies of the 'guests'. Betsy was ready for a bloody massacre. The other X-Men present ready to give a brutal beating. However, the X-Men were never like that unless they had no choice. The decision was on her...
Betsy's message was all she needed to confirm her answer. "Stay down X-Men. she turned back at them, then back at Tide and Mutt. "Very well then Mr. Slate. You and your friend shall be guests here for the time being. However keep in mind that you will be watched at all times. We obviously have much to discuss..." she made it clear.
She looked back at James, wondering of this silver boy. Could the silver duo connect to the Hellfire Club, as well as AIM? She wondered and would only get answers by discussing it. She lead the way into the mansion, Tide would be kept a close eye on.

OOC: If it's cool, perhaps I can start the inside thread for five of us?
The Mutt - June 23, 2010 08:03 AM (GMT)
((yaya, do eeet, er I mean... yea I'll be waiting for the thread in the mansion))
Tide - June 25, 2010 04:10 AM (GMT)
Mr. Slate was grateful that all had check out okay and that the meeting was going okay he knew that the leader of the Xmen did not trust him entirely and he did not fault her because most of the time he had a hard time trusting himself.
"Thank you Headmistress Storm I will mind my guns as long as he minds his." Mr. Slate as he aimed his comment at the trigger happy man name Wade. Then Terrance followed the woman up to the school to continue this conversations.
