Title: I'm lost....
Description: open

Izra'il - June 4, 2008 12:44 AM (GMT)
Ally was walking around the mansion for what seemed like forever...
Unlike some people, she was not blessed with a good sense of direction... in fact, she had no sense of direction at all. What had started out as a one girl tour turned into a hopeless wreck. Ally was slightly confused by labyrinth of hallways and exhausted from all the walking.

She plopped down into one of the chairs and rested for a moment. Thinking about all that she'd seen and heard. Coming to the mansion was the best thing that's ever happened to Ally, but she was feeling overwhelmed by, well, just about everything.

At least it's quiet here... The girl thought, relieved to have a chance to gather her thoughts.

Isiah was tired after his bout with Michael. The boy had skills and he hyad used them well. He had walked down the halls of the Mansion trying to find a way to cool off. He had gone in the kitchen and grabbed one of the many sodas from the refrigarator. He went in the dining room to sim his soda and chill as he had nothing else to do.

He almost hadn't notice that there was someone else in the room until he had sat down. Isiah didn't recognize her and quickly deducted she was new. He didn't need to use his empathic gifts to know she was a little lost and confused, he had seen her walking around before he sparred with Michael. It was a huge Mansion though.

"Hey, you okay, if you want some you time I'll leave..." His words were accompanied by a smile to show his warmth. He once knew what it was like being new to the Mansion. He had came there almost half dead.

Izra'il - June 5, 2008 09:30 PM (GMT)
Ally was absorbed in thought and didn't see the guy sitting down at the table. She flinched as he began to talk and quickly lowered her eyes to the floor.

"Hey, you okay, if you want some you time I'll leave..."

Ally stared at the floor and tried to think of something to say... but it was no use, her reply was caught in her throat and she once again found herself speechless. There was an awkward silence as Ally struggled to choke out an answer.... Then finally she found her voice.

I...... no....... I .... I mean... Ally stammered nervously. The guy was obviously friendly, but Ally was still having a hard time replying. Ally became quiet again and silently cursed her shyness. She hated the fact that she couldn't reply.... but it was something that Ally had grown used to. She was just a quiet person and had trouble talking to people she didn't know very well.

Ally found herself mute again and tried to think of something to say... She liked this stranger with his warm smile. he made her feel... welcomed and important... something that didn't happen very often. Ally desperately hoped he didn't think her rude and continued to stare at the floor.

"It's..It's a lot to take in, isn't? Learning about being a mutant, about your powers about all the other junk that comes with being what we are? And coming here, whew, It's like you've been transported to another world, huh? I know, I was shy, too."

His words came with warmth and truth to the girl. He remebered the feeling of the Mansion at first entrance. It's a lot to take in and he understood, well. He had gotten a sour reputation around there and that'ts why we could understand.

Getting up, He sat in the seat next to, hoping she didn't have an offensive ability. If she did, he could heal in seconds flat. He smiled again at her and said," You know, we could start with names. Mine's Isiah...Isiah Daniels. You might have already heard of me or seen of me. I'm on Youtube stomping on some Sentinel.."

That probably wasn't the right thing to say to someone new to the Mansion, talking about the maniacal mechanic beasts that hunted down people like them. The girl was already shy, he hoped he hadn't scared her to mute.

Izra'il - June 8, 2008 05:43 PM (GMT)
Yeah... Ally said quietly. She paused for a while and began again, It's strange here... Ally was beginning to trust him... and in spite of herself, was finding it easier to talk to him. Ally tensed up a bit when the mutant moved into the chair next to her, then relaxed again when he began talking.

" You know, we could start with names. Mine's Isiah...Isiah Daniels. You might have already heard of me or seen of me. I'm on Youtube stomping on some Sentinel.."

Ally hesitated, then replied: I'm Ally, Ally Damali. But i typically go by Izra'il... She paused and raised her eyes from the floor to glance at him, then blushed and continued to gaze at the floor. Um... you beat a sentinel? Ally had never encountered a sentinel before, but from the parts of conversation she had overheard in the hallways, they're a bigger problem then she originally thought.

Ally was interested by Isiah, normally she felt invisible.... but he actually talked to her and made her feel important. It was a strange feeling, but Ally was starting to enjoy it.

Panacea - June 10, 2008 06:17 AM (GMT)
Yeah, he had got her to talk. Izzy mentally patted himself on the back. He hated to see people alone or feeling alone. he had gone through it himself and had made it his mission to not let others go through the same.

He smiled again and spoke,"Damali, that's pretty, it sounds kinda ethnic are you, uhm, ya kno what I mean, right? Like ethnicity wise? Izra'il, that's pretty too. It's better than Panacea, I guess."

His smile faded as he her qusetion about the Sentinel registered in his mind. He had done a really stupid thing by fighting that metallic beast. "That was a stupid thing. I risked my life and the life of someone close to me by battling that thing. I'm lucky I got lucky to have the ability to heal."

She was a newbie and he wasn't trying to condone using your powers recklessly or trying to take on Sentinels one-on-one. Especially these new breeds of them. He though, secretly, loved that victory.

Izra'il - June 15, 2008 06:35 PM (GMT)
Ally idly scratched at a new scar on her arm; it was jagged, as long as your basic mechanical pencil, and an angry red color. Ally didn't mind scars so much, they only bothered her when they itched.

Izra'il is the name of the angel of healing... Ally paused a bit before hesitantly starting again. And my last name has nothing to do with my ethnicity really... My ancestors picked that name when they immigrated here... But it is an Arabic name.

Ally raised her eyes from the floor and shifted on the chair so she could face Isiah. But she still didn't meet his eyes, it was a nervous habit that Ally had grown used to.

The girl listened to Isiah's words intently. She was overjoyed to have a friend in the mansion. It felt like years since Ally has been able to talk to someone so freely...

So... you can heal? how fast? Ally asked eagerly. She has never met a mutant with similar powers and was curious. Ally quickly shut herself up and waited for a reply, slightly embarrassed by her sudden question. The girl desperately hoped he didn't find it rude of her to ask.

Panacea - June 16, 2008 08:28 PM (GMT)
Finally the girl seemed to be opening up to him.
So her name wasn't ethnic. He hoped she didn't think he was racially insensitive. He was just interested and he was one of the last people who could be racist. He didn't even know what races were in him. Growing up in an Orphanage will do that. No parents also helps. too. He quickly corrected himself.

"Oh..I'm sorry. I can get a bit nosy, huh."

Her question struck him a little off guard. He really didn't really have enough time to really look into that. Usually when he had to use his ability to heal all he had enough time to do was fight and try not to die.

"I can heal as fast as I can concentrate on the wound. If I don't really think about the wound, it usually heals itself. That really doesn't answer your question, though..."

Izra'il - June 17, 2008 10:46 PM (GMT)
Ally, still blushing, waited for Isiah's reply. She was beginning to relax and let her guard down. Ally was starting to feel less like an alien and more like she belonged in the mansion.

"Oh..I'm sorry. I can get a bit nosy, huh."

Ally smiled a bit and spoke: At least you have the courage to ask though... and no, i don't think you're nosy.

Ally listened to Isiah intently and replied again, You can speed up your healing ability by concentrating? wish i could do that... Oh geez, now i'm being the nosy one... Ally said with a chuckle. Well, where are you from?

Panacea - June 27, 2008 05:28 PM (GMT)
He smiled, this girl was finally speaking.

"Oh, you're not nosy if you barely speak..." He hoped his words hadn't come out mean to the girl but he was just truthful like that.

he heard her say she wish she could do what he did and he snickered. no one had ever wanting his gift, intrigued yes. But no one ever wanted his gift.

"I don't think so, you wouldn't want my powers. pain is a fickle thing to try and control... I'm from Brooklyn by the way."

Izra'il - July 3, 2008 07:38 PM (GMT)
Brooklyn? nice place, passed through it a couple times looking for a job...

Ally remembered the place well, she had lived there for a year, but chose not to say that. Ally didn't want to reveal too much from her past., plus she didn't want to dig up any painful memories.

And don't worry about me, i've grown accustomed to pain. Ally said quietly. Since she first discovered her powers, pain had been a part of everyday life for her.

I can heal too... but i can't increase the speed or anything like you can. As she said that, Ally pointed to the new scar on her arm. Ally's arms were a spiderweb of scars and scabs. Most of them faded till they were barely visible, but there were some larger, more visible ones too.

By chance, do you know when we get to go outside? cuz this whole lock down thing is getting really overrated.

Panacea - July 6, 2008 09:33 PM (GMT)
"Yeah, Brooklyn is nice...when you don't live in an orphanage.." He lived in that rusty gated place since as far back as his mind could trace. He remebered days when he would just sit inside and do a whole lotta nada. It wasn't until he met Kiera that,to him, his life truly began. It wasn't until she diied, that it seemed to darken and become a bleak, rotten existence. Her words brought him back to the present.

"Thanks, but I really don't have any skills with my powers, it's just Empathy. I feel what they feel and I can take away the pain, memories get pulled along too. Enoguh with me though, You shouldn't know pain, shouldn't be accustomed to it either. sorry, if I sound like a big brother.." He smiled on the outside but, on the inside he felt like a hypocrite. He knew about the horrors of this world long before he was her age.

"Oh, well I don't know that one little sis, but I can't wait to be able to leave this place. The team too probably.." His words trailed off as he knew he wasn't to suppose to divulge that information to this young girl. She was not, not, about to get involved with this little guerilla group of his. she was too young and to new to her powers and mutantkind in general.

Izra'il - July 18, 2008 10:53 PM (GMT)
[[OCC... sorry, i probably should've replied earlier...]]

"Enough with me though, You shouldn't know pain, shouldn't be accustomed to it either. sorry, if I sound like a big brother.."

"It's fine..." She said happily, feeling glad that someone cared. Well, i'm not accustomed to it, i guess, just somewhat used to pain from all the healing and stuff. Ally said, a bit more confident then before. After a brief pause she continued."Ya know, i don't have any siblings...My family..." Ally stopped abruptly, fear flashing in her eyes. She then bit her lip to avoid crying, almost drawing blood. It was the only way she could keep her emotions from flying out like gale force winds. She barely knew Isiah and didn't want to burden him with her abusive family history.

Shiitaki mushrooms! Ally thought suddenly, remembering that he could feel what she was feeling. She quickly tried to think of something happy, which was difficult under pressure... but after a moment found something to think about.

"I grew up on the streets... of course i was never starving or anything like that. I went where i pleased, did what i wanted to do... you know, the free life. Although it did get a bit lonely at times..." Ally said, trying to change the conversation. "God i can't stand being locked up in here...." She said quietly, her voice trailing off.
