Sofia - May 12, 2008 04:13 AM (GMT)
The girl ran as fast as her bare feet could carry her. The sound of her heart pounded in her ears, only to be accompanied by the sound of her rasped breathing. She didn’t know how long she had been running, but she knew she couldn’t stop until she knew she was safe. She didn’t know where she was going, but she knew she had to go. They would be searching the skies for her, so she had to remain close to the ground. Running was all she could do for now, and it was taking it’s toll.

Her feet ached immensely and they were scratched from snagging trees and branches. The medical gown she was wearing was torn as well, but it kept her from gaining scratches in other places as she made hr way through the wood. She hoped she would find refuge soon, for she may collapse at any second. Tears had yet t fall from her face, and even though she wanted to just pass out on the spot, she pushed forward. Somewhere in her heart she knew that she was almost there, wherever there was.

Jubilee - May 12, 2008 05:09 AM (GMT)
With all the craziness happening around the mansion lately, Jubilee felt it was a good time to patrol, just to be sure. Besides, she needed to get out. She was starting to get more than a little stir-crazy, and so she was out, wandering around.

The footsteps caught her attention and she turned. In a single, fluid motion, she removed her gloves and pushed her visor down: "Who's there?"

Sofia - May 12, 2008 10:12 PM (GMT)
Sofia stopped running, dead in her tracks, when she saw another in front of her, as if ready to attack. Sofia was immediately alarmed and struck a defensive position. However, the stance wasn't held long, as she began to falter a bit. She was very drained of energy, and tiny streams of blood fell from her legs and arms, making her all the more drained. Her eyes fluttered a bit, as she fought to stay awake, as her body finally lost balance and fell to tyhe ground.

Her head soon touched the grass as well, as she tried catching what little breath she had. Tears finally broke free from her eyes as she stared on at the girl. "Please...help me." Sofia could hear people getting closer, and she had no energy to protect herself. She hoped this girl was a good guy, and would bring her to a place where she could regain her energy.

Jubilee - May 18, 2008 06:03 AM (GMT)
Jubilation Lee recognized the plea from the girl. It was the same kind that she'd have given, had she found the school, and not they her. She took a few steps closer and wrapped her hands around the girl's upper arms: "Okay. You're safe now. You're at Xavier's...and I'm an X-Man. You'll be fine. We can help you."

She smiled, unthreateningly, and helped the girl walk back towards the school. As an afterthought, she extended one hand, fireworks in a rainbow's array flying out of her fingertips and downing a few of the trees to make sure that anyone who was not totally determined to pass would be stopped in their tracks. And anyone who was, would be stopped before getting onto the main campus grounds. Especially if Jubilee could manage to get this girl into the Infirmary before anything broke loose. She continued walking at a careful pace, supporting the other girl quietly.

Sofia was barely conscious at this point. Even with the aid of the girl, sh was beginning to falter, and she kept losing her footing as they walked. Her feet ached from running, as did her chest, an all she wanted to do was pass just to regain her energy. She didn't even have the energy to bring forth her wings and try to relief some of the stress of her feet. Even her eyesight was beginning to bur, and as she tried to blink it away, it onl got worse. It wouldn't be long before she completely fell to exhaustion and her footwork would give way.

Sofia wondered what "Xavier's" , and an "X-men" for that matter. Sofia had little knowledge of the outside world. She knew enough to know what certain things were, but some things were stil a mystery to her. Perhaps "Xavier's" was some sort of hospital, and "X-men" was a term used for it's workers? She didn't know.
