Jean tried to focus now on the suroundings. Perhaps something that would let her see where it was. From what she could tell..."they're definitely not in New York," she said. "They're in...Vegas! They're in Las Vegas. I'm certain. I read the mind of one of them briefly."

[Cyclops]

"Well great! Go to Vegas and leave us here," Scott said, obviously joking.

[Storm]

"Scott, now isn't the time for jokes," Ororo scolded. "We have to get to Vegas to help them. Something's not right about this at all. Suddenly taking off for Las Vegas of all places on Christmas just doesn't ring positive for me. They'll need us before the end. Suit up, both of you. We're going to the city of sin."

[Cyclops]

"Yes Miss Monroe," Scott said eagerly, as he and Jean got up and left for the locker rooms in the sub-basement.

Ororo sighed and looked out the nearby window at the snow. "And here I was hoping for a quiet Christmas. Doesn't look like that's going to happen." She took off out the room and made her way toward the elevator so she could make the trip to her Roost to get changed for the mission and meet with the others.
