This is a sample to show you what Pyro would teach if he was a professor at the Xavier Institute. All teachers there need to make a class schedule for the classes that they will be teaching, so the students can make out their schedules Here it is:
Class Number 1
Class Title: MED 101: Introduction to Meditation
Instructor: Professor John Allerdyce, trained in the art of meditation from the master of metal Erik Lensherr.
Prerequisite: None. Beginner's class.
Description: This class is designed to give the student an overview of the legendary technique of meditation. The class is designed to go over the history, placement, and basic understanding of this art form.
Syllabus: This class is not to be taken lightly as you will be expected to overcome small obsticles in your life's feelings, emotional status, and attitude. You will be expected to listen intently, and be ready to have extra meditation seasons when requested by your instructor. You must come to class prepared, with your required materials, and ready to learn every class period.
Required Materials: Meditation text book, notebook, pen or pencil, and meditation mat. Wear comfortable clothes.
Meeting Time: 10:00 A.M. to 11:30 A. M. every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
Location: Small Study Room
Class Number 2
Class Title: MED 102: Practicing Meditation
Instructor: Professor John Allerdyce, trained in the art of meditation from the master of metal Erik Lensherr.
Prerequisite: Taken MED 101
Description: This is an advanced meditation class focused around the further studies of meditation dealing with the quieting of the mind, and focusing more deeply on your thoughts and feelings.
Syllabus: All students must come prepared to learn and willing to leave everything that they have on their minds at the door. This class requires a great deal of concentration, understanding, and patience to master, as the class is much more difficult this go around.
Required Materials: You will only need the meditation mat for this class as it's sole purpose is the techniques of meditation.
Meeting Time: 1:00 P.M. to 2:30 P.M. every Tuesday and Thursday
Location: Large Group Study Room
Class Number 3
Class Title: DRT 120: Danger Room Training
Instructor: Professor John Allerdyce, manipulator of fire.
Prerequisite: None. Beginner's class.
Description: This is where the future members of the X-Men begin their training. Given that there are many instructors in this field, it helps the students choose which teacher they want for their first lessons in the danger room senarios for combat and survival.
Syllabus: In Professor Allerdyce's beginner's class, you learn survival aspects in training for fights against lower powered mutant enemies. You will learn what is the best techniques to achieve victory in each senario and how to keep up the morale of your team in the situation that you are part of. Each student will take turns in leading the team on each different class day available. By learning all you can learn, you will be able to keep up in future Danger Room training sessions with the harder instructors.
Required Materials: X-Men official uniform, your game face, and a determination to succeed.
Meeting Time: 3:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
Location: The Danger Room on Sub-Basement Level 2. Meet your Professor at the Central Facilities for the elevator trip down.
This last one is just for laughs, so no one have a cow!
Class Number 4
Class Title: SHF 101: Setting Girl's Hair on Fire for Beginners
Instructor: Professor John Allerdyce, burning hair since age 12.
Prerequisite: None. Beginner's course.
Description: Have you ever just wanted to set some girl's hair on fire when she wouldn't listen to you, was keeping you from hanging with your best friend, was ignoring your feelings for her, or just flat out kept coming between you and the guy or girl that you wanted to be with? If that's the case, then this class is for you. Professor Allerdyce will let you in on the secret formula behind this historic technique and to keep from getting in trouble over it later on.
Syllabus: Throw the rules out the window and let your jealousy and anger fly as you get revenge on the annoying girl's in your life.
Required Materials: A lighter, a box of matches, and a jug of gasoline!
Meeting Time: 10:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. every Tuesday and Thursday
Location: Meets at Professor Allerdyce's Office, where it ends up, only the students will know.
