Scott went to the shed by the lake and got himself and Laura a towel, and one big one to sit on the sand. He laid the large towel out next to the lake away from the tide line and took off the tanktop.

She walked onto the towel and sat down. She looked towards scot and saw that he had his tanktop off. That stirring grew in her again. She would have to talk to someone why she was getting these strange feelings. "So do you think you'll be able to swim with those burns...and bandages?"

"The water should feel good on them, but the bandages are probably gona come off. I'll see how long they stay on, though, don't wanna go through the trouble of redoing it just yet." Scott told her as he walked in the water. He waded out till it was at his waist and then dove under, coming up and shaking the water from his hair. "Come on in, it feels great."

She slowly stood up and walked into the water. She looked around. She then slowly let herself into the water and under the surface. She popped back up and looked around. She looked at Scott. "I think...i'm a bit wet."

Scott laughed. "I would have to agree. You are, after all, in the water." Scott said, leaning back to float aimlessly. "It's nice in here."

She looked around and began paddling her way through the water. It was as if she didn't really know how to swim much, and was trying to do her best to stay afloat.

"I'm not really built well for the water Scott." She was doing all she could to stay afloat and swim. "You forget I do have a small percentage of metal in my hands."

"Aah... didn't occur to me. You would be weighted down, wouldn't you? Not nearly as much as Logan, but your hands and feet, it would be like having armor on them while you swim. Is it really that bad? I've seen Logan in water before, and he seems to do fine as long as he can stay grounded."

"Well it doesn't help that I never really undergone swimming lessons for water infiltrations." she got to the shallow ground for at least a few minutes so she could relax a bit. She looked around.

"So you're saying that you can't swim? That is mind boggling. I just sort of figured that you would know how. I'm sorry that I just... I should've asked."

"It's ok. You can sorta teach me." She slowly began swimming towards Scott.

"Sure, I could teach you. Just.. watch me and do what I do." he told her, beginning to do a front stroke.
((for the sake of not wasting time on me attempting to teach anyone how to do anything, just assume.))
"Alright, so... give it a try."

She slowly repeated what Scott had showed her. One thing was for sure, she was a quick learner. It seems she was getting the hang of it. "Ok I think I got it.

They went over a few different swimming styles for a while and Laura adapted quickly, and within no time was swimming fine.
"You're a quick learner, you know that? Anyone else, this would've taken all day and probably a few more, we've only been down here for like an hour or so. Good job."
