Front Path and Courtyard
Tall iron gates and solid brick walls line the grounds, and a long paved path leads up to Xavier's mansion, before ending at a large, rounded courtyard on the steps of the entrance. There are many defenses to the grounds to deal with any intruders.

A beautiful array of fresh, green lawns and shrubs surround the mansion grounds; quiet, serene places where one can visit to relax.

Boating Lake
A vast, private expanse of water lies to the side of mansion, providing a place of watery fun for its students. Small boats are docked on the wooden jetties, and a waterhouse contains other sporting equipment for leisure.

Garage
Connected onto the West wing of the Mansion, the garage spans a wide area below ground, with an access ramp leading onto the front path. Scores of vehicles are kept down here, owned by the Professor, the lecturers, and even the students.

Swimming Pool
At the back of the mansion is the large outdoor swimming pool where the students, staff, and others go to relax, get some sun, and most importantly, swim.

Lobby
When you first walk into the mansion, this is the first area you see. The grand staircase that leads to the next floor, where the dormitories are, is right directly ahead, while other coridoors are past the lobby leading toward the other locations on the ground floor.

Kitchen and Dining
A long and elegant dining room is located in the East wing of the mansion, filled with hefty, antiquated dining tables is where the students eat their meals. An impressive kitchen is adjacent, containing food and basic services. A larger kitchen is on the other side for the specialty chefs at the mansion.

Classrooms and Studies
Numerous rooms are dedicated to education throughout the hallways, and are where the students attend their lessons. Quiet studies are available for the lecturers, while the library offers a similar retreat for the students.

Professor Xavier's Chambers
Spreading up to the first floor via a private stairwell, the Professor's personal chambers on the ground floor house his office, connected to the main corridor, as well as his study.

Student Dormitories
Kept in the opposite wing to those of the X-men, the student dorms are many in number, and are relatively small, but cosy rooms for the students to have their own private place.

Central Facilities
A recreational room is in the centre of the school, separating the two wings just before the landing. A slender stairwell leads to the first floor, while a laundry room is adjacent.

A spacious attic room, adopted by Storm for its open planned setting; an ideal place for her plant collection. A large glass skylight allows all the light in that she needs.

Attic Dormitories
The attic contains many rooms, which Xavier had intended to be kept free should the second floor be unable to accomodate the amount of students. These are available should a student desire one.

Mansion Basement
Below the floorboards of the great mansion spans a network of rooms generally off limits to most students. The Professor's extensive wine collection is stored here, along with artifacts collected from his travels, un-used furniture, and the main computer and security systems.

Sub-Basement 1
The sub-basement is known about only by students, having been created as an extension to the original blueprints. This level houses the hanger bay for the X-Jet as well an extensive medical facility, with a large gymnasium and facilities, including an indoor pool. The west area of the level is put aside to science, where laboraties and research centres are located.

Sub-Basement 2
This reinforced level is off limits to students without a professor, and the elevator down to the level is coded. The new Danger room is here, which employs advanced holographic technology devoted to training Xavier's X-Men, and a way of developing other mutant's powers. Specialist facilities are down here in the event of emergency. This area is also where the larger, more spacious Cerebro terminal is located.
