Why Announce yourself?

The procedure to log on to this forum and gain all possible rights:

Register yourself. Do this by clicking on the Register button on top. Fill in all questions.
Go to your mailbox and click on the validation link.
Introduce yourself here next (the "Welcome"forum) in a new topic. Be sure to mention you real name (first and sur), and your age.

Why join this forum you would ask?
Well, actualy you can do nothing more then an ordinary guest, except that you can watch other members's profile and use the search-function. But...

You can propose yourself!
Just do this by making a new topic (every member is important for us and they all deserve a separate topic to introduce themselves :P) in the "Welcome" forum. In that topic you post your real name and your age.

And whats next?
After doing this, one of the admin's(Kennin, Grubolsch, Kavu,gwaedin) wil give you the rights of an Official user. Now you can reply on topics, ask your own questions, have fun in the tavern, vote on poll's and many, many things more.

Why such hard conditions?
Our experience is, that where having to propose yourself, it is much calmer then places where you don't have to.The registration and announcement works like a threshold when it comes to arguments and brawls. There is only one reason why you shouldn't reveal yourself, and that is if you have something to hide. Your data are not going to be given to others and are not going to be used for dark purposes. Rest assured your data are safe with us.
